About: I’ve taken care of dogs/cats ever since the age of 10 for multiple families. I love ever animal as if they were my own animals. I work full time at Mayo Clinic. Before work we always walk 2 miles. On my lunch break I will go home and play with them for 30 minutes and go back to work. After work we do another 2 mile walk and then run around the yard until it’s time to go in and settle down for the night. I have a large fenced in yard that the dogs can play in. I have a Husky, her name is Luna. She loves other dogs and plays really well with them. If your dog needs to be kenneled I do have the ability to do that as well. We have 2 kennels available so no need to bring your own! For cats I have a lot of room. We have 2 litter boxes in the home. We have a huge tub of toys and cat towers for them to play around with. I have 2 cats in the home that get along with everything!

About: Growing up on the farm we had lots of pets. For me dogs are like best friends they walk with you and they are so happy to see you when you show up . Just in general dogs and cats are loveable creatures and they all need to be loved just like humans do. I use to clean homes for people and if they had dogs or cats they are the first I like to meet for a minute just like anyone would do if you showed up to see a baby for how cute or you get that instinct . About: Dogs, cats and birds have always been a part of my life. As a child, we even had a pet crow named Butch! I work from home so your fur or feather baby won’t be left alone. My last two dogs passed away after months of battling cancer. My siberian husky had nasal cancer and my papillion had lymphoma. I have experience providing palliative care for dogs that are not feeling well and probably need extra love and attention. Currently, my resident dog is a foster failure named Peppy. Occasionally, I will have a foster dog in addition to my resident dog. I would disclose that information before booking. I currently work from home and my schedule is very flexible. After work, I walk my dog either around the neighborhood or we go to Red Cedar trail or to a park in town. I can easily crate your dog if you request it but it’s ok if he/she sleeps wherever. My dog freaks out in a crate (he was a breeder release) so he sleeps wherever he chooses. He is very gentle and has no teeth so I will not care for any aggressive dog.

The last 10 years or so I've worked lightly as a tech but also as a foster coordinator with a major rescue. Our home specializes in those that need extra understanding, health care or time to settle in. Dogs are our homes life. We already work around dog care schedules and appropriate trips outside all the time. I'm home all but 2 days a week and provide most mid-day walks and play time. Safety is a big factor in our home. We have years of learning and perfecting dog introductions when boarding and our dogs are very used to new guests coming in and out.
