About: I’ve grown up around dogs and my family currently has four, so I’ve had lots of hands-on experience caring for them over the years. I’m a huge animal lover and I’m comfortable with feeding, walking, playtime, potty breaks, and giving dogs plenty of attention and affection. I am starting my masters program in the fall and have a lot of free time during the day. Usually available throughout the day including evenings. They are my world and I will treat your animals like my own! I have watched small, medium and large dogs with ease. I have experience with training my own and am comfortable with all dogs. I know having to leave your babies at home can be rough but they will be in good hands with me! I am a recent transplant to the area from Chicago where I was active in volunteering with several dog rescues! I work from home 2 days a week and have a very flexible schedule, I would love to come hang out with your babies while you're away! My office is only 4 miles from my house so I can step away as needed. I have experience with reactive dogs and understand they need some special attention. I am very attentive anytime a pet is out of the home and put safety first! I take my phone for safety but never use it while walking to ensure they have my undivided attention. About: I have had many decades of well-loved Labradors, a couple exceptional Mastiffs, and a loveable yet crazy Brittany. In our home we have two full time cats that moved in after our neighbor passed away. Our family lives have always included pets and a multitude of farm critters that we care, love and enjoy. I am comfortable and have experience with large dog personalities as well as the medical and physical needs of seniors. And I can follow directions! I work full time as faculty at a local college, however my schedule has flexibility throughout the week as well as through the day. Typically I am available most days and locally can travel easily for pet care. Dogs can be boarded here as long as they are cat and dog friendly. There are 2 cats and I also watch our son's Brittany Spaniel during the week. For dogs that do stay here, they are allowed on the furniture as well as on our bed and there are multiple dog beds for their choice. Our backyard is fenced away from the road behind a privacy fence. For those dogs that like to swim there is a concrete salt water pool available during the season. Whatever directives the pet family prefers will be followed with updates regularly.
