About: I have had many decades of well-loved Labradors, a couple exceptional Mastiffs, and a loveable yet crazy Brittany. In our home we have two full time cats that moved in after our neighbor passed away. Our family lives have always included pets and a multitude of farm critters that we care, love and enjoy. I am comfortable and have experience with large dog personalities as well as the medical and physical needs of seniors. And I can follow directions! I work full time as faculty at a local college, however my schedule has flexibility throughout the week as well as through the day. Typically I am available most days and locally can travel easily for pet care. Dogs can be boarded here as long as they are cat and dog friendly. There are 2 cats and I also watch our son's Brittany Spaniel during the week. For dogs that do stay here, they are allowed on the furniture as well as on our bed and there are multiple dog beds for their choice. Our backyard is fenced away from the road behind a privacy fence. For those dogs that like to swim there is a concrete salt water pool available during the season. Whatever directives the pet family prefers will be followed with updates regularly.

About: I have had family dogs most of my life, all were rescues. Each had their own challenges. I’m observant and will take attentive care of your pet. I am starting my masters program in the fall and have a lot of free time during the day. Usually available throughout the day including evenings. I care for them by making sure their bowls have been cleaned and filled with fresh water and food if needed. Give them attention and play with them.

About: I’ve taken care of neighborhood pets for over eight years. I have watched dogs of all ages, sizes, and needs. I have also watched dogs with high medical needs such as epilepsy and am comfortable giving medications. I have experience with everything from drop-in visits to multiple-month stays! In addition to dogs, I am also comfortable taking care of cats, goats, and chickens and have years of experience with them as well! I am currently in physical therapy school, so my weekly schedule varies. However, I am free in the late afternoons and evenings, as well as weekends. My schedule can be relatively flexible around classes, as I am not currently working! I love spending time playing with dogs. If your dog is full of energy, I am more than willing to take them for walks and play with them to get some energy out! If your dog is more laid back, I love a good snuggle! I have worked with dogs who were previously in shelters, nervous dogs, fearful dogs, and anxious dogs. I have experience dog sitting small and big dogs. I have potty trained my own dogs and have helped friends potty train as well. I'm comfortable with bathing, brushing, feeding, walking, and interacting with dogs. I have worked with special needs dogs and am comfortable changing their diapers, applying creams and ointments, and applying wraps or bandages if needed. I'm comfortable feeding, cleaning litter boxes, and brushing cats. I've also taken care of small reptiles like bearded dragons and geckos, as well as birds like cockatiels and parakeets. I just moved to the area and have flexible availability. I am available for drop ins and walks throughout the day. No time is too early or too late. I'm open to last minute drop ins or walks as long as it is communicated. I'm great at sticking to your pets eating schedule as well as establishing routines if needed.
