About: **We are unfortunately unable to host unfixed dogs in our home for boarding/doggy daycare.** I have grown up with dogs and cats and have spent many years caring for them throughout my life. I currently have a senior dog I adopted from a local shelter and two younger dogs I’ve helped raise since they were puppies. Over the years I’ve learned how different each stage of life can be, from potty training puppies to supporting the slower pace of senior dogs. I’ve also cared for family pets while their owners were out of town, including both dogs and cats. I’m comfortable with dogs of all energy levels. Some love to play and stay active, others just want to relax and be near someone. I’m happy with both. I also have experience with raw feeding routines and daily care. My main focus is always making sure pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for while their owners are away. I have a flexible schedule as a stay at home mom which allows me to give consistent attention throughout the day. I homeschool my children but I’m still able to fully care for the pets in my home and keep up with walks, drop ins, and boarding. My days are structured in a way that allows me to adjust as needed so each pet gets timely and attentive care. Pets in my care can enjoy walks in your yard or around your neighborhood depending on what they are comfortable with. We also have a spacious yard that gives dogs plenty of room to move around and stretch their legs. Our home is calm and family oriented. Pets are always supervised and included in daily life. I make sure they feel comfortable, settled, and part of the environment while they are here.

Once you are a repeat client, I am then more comfortable staying for longer periods of time if needed. Pets will stay on routine by following whatever schedule the owner has set up. If it means getting up early to take a walk, that's what will happen. If I means getting out later in the afternoon for a walk, tha will be fine too. Pet care fits into my routine by me having a very opened schedule. I just moved to Easton, MD, so right now I'm looking to build a new client base here. While watching your pets in your home, I will always make sure I keep a watchful eye over them. I typically like to stay in an area that is open enough where I can see everything, but closed enough where the animal won't be out of site.
“Words can not even describe how amazing Jill has been when watching our Nella. We came to Ocean City on vacation and quickly realized that Nella was a little stressed with all the people around and we didn’t feel right leaving her alone when we went out. We soon found Jill who put our minds at ease and responded to our request almost instantly. She has been extremely accommodating with our schedule and had truly saved our vacation. We were able to enjoy ourselves knowing Nella was not only having a blast but was in great hands. We were sent photos and videos of Nella through out the day which really makes a difference. At the end of the day, she would send Nella home with little treats and even toys that she knew Nella enjoyed. It is clearly evident that Jill is not only great at what she does but truly has a love for animals. Again, words can not describe how great it has been to work with Jill. About: Had a variety of different dogs growing up, large and small breeds alike, and a sprinkle of cats mixed in as well as having cared for elderly and diabetic pets. About: I have had many decades of well-loved Labradors, a couple exceptional Mastiffs, and a loveable yet crazy Brittany. In our home we have two full time cats that moved in after our neighbor passed away. Our family lives have always included pets and a multitude of farm critters that we care, love and enjoy. I am comfortable and have experience with large dog personalities as well as the medical and physical needs of seniors. And I can follow directions! I work full time as faculty at a local college, however my schedule has flexibility throughout the week as well as through the day. Typically I am available most days and locally can travel easily for pet care. Dogs can be boarded here as long as they are cat and dog friendly. There are 2 cats and I also watch our son's Brittany Spaniel during the week. For dogs that do stay here, they are allowed on the furniture as well as on our bed and there are multiple dog beds for their choice. Our backyard is fenced away from the road behind a privacy fence. For those dogs that like to swim there is a concrete salt water pool available during the season. Whatever directives the pet family prefers will be followed with updates regularly.

Having my own supplies I am always prepared to scoop up some poop. I will use the entire 30 minutes to allow your dog adequate time to use the restroom. During that 30 minutes we're going to burn some energy with intense playtime. This will allow your dog stimulation helping your dog to calm down without having too much pent up energy while you're away. When it comes to Drop-In Visits it is similar to a walk but here's how they differ. With a visit I will be able to refill your pets water or food dish while you're away. If you have cats I can ensure their needs are taken care of such as cleaning litter boxes. Finally, I can take care of some simple household tasks. (I.E. Putting trash out and up to the curb) Furthermore, I am willing to provide training. Depending on your preference I can do clicker, treat, or a combination of both trainings. I can teach your dog fundamental commands such as sit, leave it, kennel up, and come. Thank you for your time. “Amy is amazing. She is kind and flexible and has done amazing job caring for Kalooki. We don’t have to feel guilty about leaving her behind because she is always excited to visit and has a great time either Amy’s family and the other pets to have fun with. Amy sends great photos and videos along the way that give us insights into her daily activities and friendships. She always comes home from her “vacations” exhausted in a good way, which is the best outcome of vacations for her humans too. Highly recommend!”

“Daniel and his wife did an exceptional job with my dog Bandit. I was so nervous, Bandit is 8.5 years old and had never been with anyone alone. He did phenomenal with him giving me updates and texts with photos. Made me feel at ease. I had just recently moved to the area and knew nobody had to be an away for a long weekend which required a need for Bandit to be in care. This was just what I was looking for. Very conveniently located also. Would recommend and plan to book again in the future.”

She was attentive to my animals needs and it was obvious my pup had a great time with her. She sent tons of pictures and videos and gave comprehensive daily updates.
