About: I have worked with animals pretty much my whole life. My first job was at a doggy daycare in Highschool. Loved it! And now I am a Registered Veterinary Technician that works with small animals and exotics at an animal hospital in their Emergency Department. I am CPR certified and have a lot of knowledge when it comes to having to give medications/knowing about certain health issues. I currently work as a Registered Veterinary Technician full time. I work on tues, wed, thurs and sat 2-12am. So I am available every morning really but Sun, mon, and fridays I am free all day. I am a very active, reliable, hardworking person. I would love nothing more than to come to you and I can provide dog walks and/or home visits!

About: Hi! I’m a lifelong dog lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs of all breeds, sizes, and ages. I currently have a yellow lab, Ranger, who will be turning three in September—he’s truly my whole world! I’ve raised him since he was a puppy and have put a lot of time and care into his training, so I understand how important consistency, patience, and positive reinforcement are. I also have a 4-month-old puppy, River, so I’m very familiar with the energy, attention, and structure that puppies need. In addition to my own dogs, I’ve taken in foster dogs over the years, which has given me experience working with a wide range of personalities—from playful pups to senior dogs who need a gentler approach. Daily walks are one of my favorite activities, and I love making sure dogs get the exercise, enrichment, and attention they deserve. Whether your dog needs a fun walk, a reliable sitter, or someone patient and experienced, I will treat them like my own—with lots of love, care, and attention to their unique needs. I’d love to meet your pup! I work a 8-5 so I could walk before work at anytime. I could also walk at 6 or 7 during the week after work! I love a morning walk with a pal. With a lab I know all about it a ton of energy and how to handle it. We have worked a ton on leash and he is 60 lbs.
“We had a great experience with Makenzie! She is the sweetest and took such good care of our pups! She always arrived on time and provided updates with photos after each walk! It gave us great peace of mind while we were out of town. We will definitely use her again!”

About: My wife and I love dogs and are active with local rescues. We have five dogs of our own at home, a wide variety of breeds, sizes, and personalities! We have Lacy - a black lab, Goldie - a cocker spaniel, Cinder - a pit-bull mix, Timmy - a teacup yorkie, and our newest addition, Noelle - a golden doodle puppy. I have a flexible schedule and can usually fit in three or four drop-in visits a day. My wife and I are both in education, so we work hours that are conducive to a second job in pet care. My full time job is a middle school social studies teacher, so I have active background checks and certifications. In addition, we have three dogs at home that are certified therapy dogs and have their Canine Good Citizen certification. We make regular visits to local nursing homes with our pets.

About: I've grown up with cats and dogs in my home at all times. I was responsible for taking care of them. I can ensure the safety of your cat and/or dog, in my hands. Because I will not just treat your animal like just another pet, I will treat them as if they were my own! With nothing but love and respect towards you. I currently am a stay at home mom. I will dedicate the time and care needed for your animal and cater to their needs. I enjoy every moment and will never rush the time I have with them. I treat every animal that I care for like they are my own. If in your home, I will respect you and your pet’s space and make them feel comfortable and at ease. As well as if they are come to my home. I have a very loving dog and cat, that would give a warm welcome to your loved one.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs for my whole life! In my family I was the designated dog walker/caretaker. I would love to be of assistance for families looking for someone to take care of their pup! I am a current college student, however I have plenty of free time/days to take care of your pets! I have played college soccer for the past four years, so I know how to be reliable and responsible. Currently my schedule is very open for dog sitting/walking and I’d love to help out! I live in a dog friendly apartment complex, so if necessary I could accommodate for pet care in my home. As for in a client’s home, I can follow any set of directions you left to take care of your fur baby!

About: I’ve taken care of many family members and friends pets when they were out of town for years. I’ve been responsible for feeding dogs, cats, fish, reptiles, a chinchilla, and even a pig once! I’m also happy to bring the mail in and water the plants while I’m there! I have a pitbull of my own named Gopher at home as well as 3 fish tanks that I’m responsible for. I love animals of all kinds, big or small, and would be happy to take care of, walk, play with and give some love and attention to your furry (or not) friends while you’re away! I am happily available to give your fur babies some exercise during the week! I can do afternoon / evening walks after I get off work. I have previously had a reactive dog and am very understanding that some animals are more nervous than others around new people. I am good at “reading the room” and will be sure to give your pet patience and space if they seem hesitant or shy.

About: From making sure to engage in adequate playtime and socialization as a puppy to assistance with grooming to the occasional diaper change and medications for senior care, I've loved and adored taking care of our family Bichon Frisé Angel Baby! Every pet brings a different personality and unconditional love to our lives, because they're not just friends ~ they're family! So why not give back just as much love as they give us? You are your fur babies' whole world, so give them the gift of a little company, a fun walk, playtime, and extra treats and cuddles! I'm currently unemployed, but still live with my parents, so I'll have plenty of time to look after your pets! If this changes at any time, I will let you know immediately, so I can assist you in finding other arrangements or finding a compromise to ensure your pet still receives the care they deserve! Because Angel Baby can get a little jealous since she's an old lady, we don't have other dogs at our house, but she still gets all my love! This means cleaning up the occasional potty accident, routinely checking that her toys are functional and free of any potential hazards, keeping up with her medication schedule, and making sure to stay attentive of vehicles and plants she may try to ingest during walks. For my new furry friends, this also means ensuring that all laundry detergent and other dangerous substances are properly secured/stored and making sure the yard is free of any hazards or any broken/insecure fencing. You will be notified as soon as possible of any unsafe conditions, because your fur baby is family and we protect our family!
“AnnaClaire was so loving and caring for our 2 dogs d’Artagnan and Wrangler. I was recently in the hospital with pneumonia and home with complications. My husband was traveling so I had to find someone trustworthy quick. We interviewed AnnaClaire at our home and she is the PERFECT fit for our fur babies and gives us peace knowing we have AnnaClaire taking care here at our home. Thank you from the bottom of our hearts 💕”

“Easy to communicate with! Abigail came twice to let Dani out. Since it was raining, I asked her to just play with Dani. This was my first Rover experience and I would definitely do it again! Great job, Abigail!”

“Keerie is a great dog walker for our Mabel. Mabel loves her weekly long walks and snuggles and I love Keerie’s responsiveness, timeliness and communication. Keerie is a true animal lover who I highly recommend.”

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.
Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Weymouth. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.
For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Weymouth.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Weymouth. On Rover:
- 95% of walkers can help with special care needs
- 98% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 99% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
