“Shafika is amazing! My pups are not the easiest, but she handled them beautifully. And they love her so much! Even my one pup who is slow to warm up was out and about with her and slept with her every night. I got great reports throughout the day and soooooo many pics! I am a natural born worrier, but I had a great time on vacation knowing they were in such capable, loving hands! And to top it off, the house was clean when I got home! I can’t say enough great things about Shafika!!!”

About: i’ve taken care of dogs of all ages and sizes since i was 12 years old. I love to take walks and i’m very time efficient and like to stick to schedules for things so i can assure you that your pups will get tons of love and will being taken care of while you are away. My only exception is i don’t do reptiles i’m currently working a part time job and i am willing to work around my schedules to accommodate to your fur babies needs, I am a natural early riser and will adapt to any routines needed. I love to treat all animals with love and reward while still giving them their own space and the ill adjust to your pets personality and needs.

About: I’ve lived with pets my entire life, growing up surrounded by animals that truly became part of my family. Over the years, I’ve cared for five dogs and eleven cats, each with their own unique personalities and needs. I’ve handled playful puppies who get into everything, older dogs with mobility issues, and even some with more challenging, aggressive temperaments. I’ve also experienced the full range of cat behaviors—from shy and cautious to bold and mischievous. Because of this, I’ve learned how to read animals’ body language, earn their trust, and make them feel safe, comfortable, and loved in any environment. Pet care is already part of my everyday life, so fitting it into my routine feels completely natural. I structure my mornings and evenings around feeding, walking, and spending time with animals, and I plan my schedule to make sure I’m available for their needs. Whether that means going on regular walks, cleaning litter boxes, or playing and giving attention throughout the day, I make it a priority. Caring for pets is something I enjoy, so it never feels like a chore—it’s simply built into how I organize my time each week. I care for pets in my clients’ homes, making sure they stay comfortable in their own environment. I follow all instructions carefully—feeding routines, walk schedules, medication needs, and house rules—so pets feel secure and cared for. I always keep doors and gates secure, watch for hazards, and give plenty of attention and reassurance. Your pet’s safety and happiness are my top priorities.

About: I’ve been taking care of dogs sense I was 10, I’ve gone to numerous dog training camps, I’ve worked at two vets and have taken care and own dogs and cats myself. I work part time and in school part time but I have a lot of flexibility with my day and always take priority over animals as I’m going to school to be a vet. I have a fenced in yard, and love going on walks with dogs, and making sure they have enough water afterwards, i love having a schedule when it comes to house sitting and making sure everything is accurate.

About: I have five cats and a dog of my own. I love exploring new trails and finding new places to walk. I also have experience administering medication to pets. I grew up with a dog that needed lots of medicine. I have plenty of experience with injections, pills, and liquids. I will treat your baby like my own. I truly miss the animals I watch when I inevitably have to leave. I hope you will trust me with your baby soon! I am able to move my schedule with notice. I typically have school Tuesdays in person every other week. Just let me know in advance and I can make it work! I am very careful with making sure harnesses are on and safe. I make sure the water and food bowl are full and nothing is out that is dangerous.

About: Beginning in my preteen years, I have cared for various breeds of dogs, from newborn puppies to full-grown dogs. I'm confident in understanding what your furry friend needs or wants, whether a bath, bathroom break, playtime, dinner, or snuggles. I’m a travel nurse with Fusion Medical, and I recently decided to move back home to Tallahassee. As of now, I can accommodate any scheduling needs. I am taking a break from fieldwork and will focus on advancing my career. Sadly, I can’t accommodate your furry friends in my home at this time. However, I can accommodate their needs in their own safe place. I can also continue and maintain their care plan according to your wishes.

About: My family had a pair of corgis when I was a kid, I didn’t realize how much I missed them until I started petsitting for families with dogs in 2012. I’m currently working part time so I will have plenty of time to care for and play with your fur babies. I’m available fully Wednesday thru Saturday and sometimes I can extend care for them until Sunday or Monday. I will follow and double check all the instructions and I will contact you immediately with any questions or concerns I have regarding your fur babies.
