“Sarah was such a life saver for me when I was in the area. She took great care of my dog Roo and sent so many pictures and videos throughout Roo’s stay. I felt so at ease knowing Roo was being well taken care of like she was one of their own. Will definitely have them sit for us again!”

“Andrea was so wonderful with my pup! She was so responsive and sending constant updates and pictures which was so appreciated. She clearly took great care of my dog and I would 100% leave her with her again!”

About: I have taken care of my own 2 cats for 14 years. I have experience with grooming, nail care, feeding, and litter box care. I have experience in care for cats rangeing from kittens to senior cats. I also have experience with dogs. Living with 3 in the past 15 years. Sizes ranging from medium to large breed. I have also cared for dogs ranging from micro to small. I have experience with toilet training, grooming, and dog walking. I currently work part time. I have more availability at night and late afternoon. However, I am able to move my schedules around if given enough notice, 1 to 2 weeks in advance. I have a pet gate in my home. I also have a fenced in yard with a doggy door. My pets enjoy coming in and out to enjoy the sun. All of my pets are fed a healthy and weight control diet.

“Aubrey always does a great job with my needy girl. I know because instead of hiding in the car when we get to her house Abby jumps right out and runs to greet here. It’s a blessing not to have to worry when we travel. Thanks Aubrey!”

“Colette is our trusted caregiver for Lucca. Not only is she totally responsible and loving she is a frequent and fun communicator. We never worry when she has Lucca and Lucca never looks back when Colette takes the leash!”

About: Animals have always been a huge part of my life! I have 8 years of experience caring for my own cats and fostering cats, along with 2 years of experience working as a veterinary technician. This has given me hands-on experience caring for cats and dogs of all ages, sizes, and personalities, including those who need a little extra patience and attention. As an aspiring veterinarian, I'm passionate about animal health, safety, and well-being. My veterinary background has helped me recognize when something may be wrong, administer care and medications responsibly, and understand the importance of keeping pets comfortable and stress-free. I treat every animal as if they were my own and strive to make them feel safe, loved, and happy while their owners are away! I care for my cats every day. They get fed, have all day access water, and their litter boxes get scooped twice per day. I have many cat toys and cat beds. There is also space for a small dog to run around and play. I have extra bowls and beds and blankets for them to sleep on as well. I can house your cat or small dog in a separate room from the rest of the house and can even crate them in a comfortable extra large dog crate if needed. I have a large fenced in backyard, but I am more than happy to put your little friend on a leash and walk around the yard or the quiet neighborhood.
“Giavanna is wonderful with my dog, Lucky! 🐶 She’s reliable, communicative, and always takes such good care of him while I’m away. I always come home to a happy, relaxed pup, and I feel totally at ease knowing he’s with her. Highly recommend!”

“She was great! My pup needed a vet visit while staying with her and she not only took him but took care of my dog with unexpected health needs and kept me informed every step of the way! I know my dog is in great hands with her!”

“We made arrangements to leave our dogs with Byron and his wife for the week. They have a fenced in yard that is great for the dogs. Our dogs were droped off. Byron was able to send pictures letting us know how our dogs were. They were well taken care of. We picked them and they were all happy. I would leave them with byron and his wife anytime.”

“Amazing host. Communicating as much as you need! Extremely kind, caring, and will go the extra mile just to help out. Definitely someone we will use for our future trips and even to visit the dogs because of the good time spent.”

“Was our first time away from our dog and I must say I felt at ease leaving him in her care and while I was away. She kept me updated on how he was doing. If you book with Mrs. Angela your fur baby will be well taken care of. I will definitely be booking with her again.”
“We cannot thank Ayuana enough for taking such wonderful care of Abby! She sent great updates and photos throughout the stay, which gave us complete peace of mind. Our dog was so well taken care of, happy, and relaxed. We highly recommend her and will definitely use her services again!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Wetumpka home-away-from-home, packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Wetumpka.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Wetumpka sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in FL ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
