About: My name is jharasen or jp for short. I have been working with dogs and other pet for many years now at doggy daycares, pet sitting, vet clinics and at the shelter. I am available most days and time to care for your pet and try to make them feel as comfortable and excepted while they are with me. I am also working on getting my training business started here in Forset city and am currently an intern with a trainer in Mills river helping out with an agility class on Wednesday nights. having the knowledge and backing of the trainer I have been able to find creative ways to help with dogs who seemed stressed or needing more outlets when with me. They are also able to come in and hang out inside as well. I do keep all dogs separated when I am not home and/or able to watch them and at meal time just for safety reasons. Ibam a stay at home mom so my schedule is pretty open, besides for any appointments i might have to go. The only days i am consistently away from the house are Wednesdays from 10 to 3 and Thursdays from 11 to 6 when im at class. I have a fenced-in yard part of it is what i call my rainy day yard which is truf grass with a 3 ft fence around it ... I also have a 6ft fence around the while back yard for the dry days that make the play space much bigger ... but who wants to play in the rain anyways lol. I do slow introduction with ever new pup that comes in and go at their pace to make sure they feel as comfortable as possible while they are staying with me.

I started pet sitting in my neighborhood about 2 and a half years ago and also got on another app and have had about 2 sittings from there. I have pet sat mostly dogs but also cats. I have done overnights, visits throughout the day, boarding in my home, walking, etc. I am also about to start including dog training! I also would love to add in hiking! We also go on daily walks and sometimes enjoy going out hiking or to the park. I am very keen on crate training so your pup will need to be crated while unsupervised in my home. This is for mine and my dogs safety but also for your dogs safety! We keep our home very clean and dog/ puppy proof so no need to worry about your pup getting into anything! We also keep chew bones up and any high value items up. They get these high value items when they are individually in their crates or their own space! We have three dogs for your pup to play and socialize with always under supervision of me or the other person in my home.

About: I have had many different animals my entire life including cats, ferrets, chinchillas, chickens, ducks, hamsters, rabbits… In my 20’s I founded “Not Just Pets, Professional Pet Care”. In my 30’s I founded “Equine Specialist, Care and Training”. I had horses for over 30 years. I trained, showed, pleasure road, belonged to 3 horse clubs and eventually started my own 4-H club. I have bred and trained Boston Terriers and German Shepherds. Currently, I have 4 dogs that I rescued from a SC kill shelter. I make my own schedule and am flexible to care for your furry family! Every situation can be different. Meeting with the client and their animals is important. I like to know about any vices, medications, vet info, where supplies are at, etc. Taking notes and leaving daily notes for each client keeps communication open and I find is appreciated.
