About: Unless you are a pet parent, no one understands what it is like for you to open your eyes in the morning only to find another pair of eyes staring at you, and this huge tongue licking you in the face. Whether you have a cat, dog, bird, etc.., you only want the best for your pet as they are more than just pets, they are family. As pet parents know, each one has his/her own personality and charm. You must have empathy and a sense of humor to be around animals. I have been around animals my entire life (over 40 years). I grew up hanging around a grooming solon knowing how to treat animals. I was taught how to train, groom, and photograph dogs. Our pets can make you laugh when your sad, and wait for you to come home at night, and love you unconditionally. My past experiences include: • Working at PetSmart Hotel • Being PetSmart certified • Knowing dog first aid • Being a dog trainer • Being a dog photographer • A dog whisperer • Working with PAWS of Rutherford County and ASPCA • A portion of candles that I made do go to PAWS of Rutherford County. • Being able to give dogs medication. I would like to know is there a schedule the client has for their pet, especially for the bathroom. Some pets need to go out every so often. Are there any dangers or allergies the pets has, etc. These are the types of information I will be asking the pet parent to make sure their pet is safe.

About: I’ve been a dog owner for over a decade with a mix of different temperaments and personalities. I’ve also been dog and cat sitting for almost as long for friends and family. From little chihuahuas to Rottweilers, I’ve cared for many doggies. I’ve even helped train my mom’s three Belgian Malinois. Though I wouldn’t do it now with my toddler, I trained/rehabbed an abused Pitt bull seven years ago. She became the sweetest of all my dogs. My son, who is 16 months old and accompanying me, is very active, so we pretty much live outside (yes! Even when there is snow on the ground). We have a very flexible schedule except maybe when he goes to bed around 7:30/8pm Since people’s homes vary, I’m flexible with doing whatever it takes to keep your pet and others safe. Having no fence is not a problem as long as we have a leash :)

About: Hello! I have 12+ years of experience caring for pets. 10 years caring for a multiple pet household and 3 years of pet sitting experience. Big and littles! I am new to Rover but can provide references from families I have pet sit for outside of Rover. I can handle medications and other daily needs. I have a lot of fun with animals but understand they also need a lot of structure. Most of my experience is with high drive and energy dogs that I know require exercise, enrichment, and structure. I have experience navigating training tools like ecollars if your pup utilizes those, and would follow your specific training system for your pet. We can go on walks in your neighborhood or a drive out to a walking trail. I’m familiar and comfortable with pups that are crate trained as well. Anxious doggos are no problem, I would just want to get info on how you best care for them when they struggle. I welcome dogs of all ages, and especially love carrying on any training you may be doing with your puppy or adult dog.i live in Rutherford county nc but am available in the greater Asheville area since my work is flexible locations. I work out of the home most of the time but I make my own schedule and work within the community. So I’m able to schedule check ins through out the day. However, because of this, I typically keep puppy or high needs (requiring constant monitoring) to weekends and holidays. My husband also helps with check ins throughout the day and some days, I am home most of the day since I have some hybrid work as well :) but I like to do a walk in the morning and evening, at least. I also enjoy enrichment time with indoor activities or training in the evenings or during poor weather. I am available many holidays, just reach out. I am okay with fenced or unfenced, as I am happy to walk your pup with a leash. I would want to know if they have issues walking though so I can plan for that and ensure it’s an enjoyable experience for everyone :) i take care of the home i am sitting as much as the animals, and i pride myself on leaving things better than i found them. I’m very meticulous and usually, you’ll hardly know I was there.

About: I’ve been breeding and raising golden retrievers since I was 16, I’ve been a professional groomer since I was 18. But my love for animals started when I was just a little girl. 🩷 I’m currently in my third trimester and I am a stay at home mom to be. So I am very flexible in my day to day schedule. I prefer to pet sit in the client’s home to make the pet feel the most comfortable and confident, while the pet parent is away.

“She is the one if you have a cat/cats! So this was my first Rover experience and I didn’t have anything to compare it to other than having a friend check on our cat while we were gone. I haven’t gone away longer than a couple days since having Hunter because I worry about him being stressed and confused. If you love a cat/cats, you know how it is. We want to take them with, but it is even more stressful and sometimes dangerous for some of them. As far as Victoria goes, she has set the bar really high and I only want her to pet sit for us for as long as she is on here. Our meet and greet went well and her energy was very pet friendly and warm. My cat can be a weirdo about changes and new people, but he did approach and smell her during that initial meeting. While we were away she took great care of him and sent photos which helped us to relax and enjoy our time. We really lucked out and I hope good people continue to sign up to do this service especially for us cat owners. Rover itself was easy to use and I think the fee (separate from the daily rate) is fair as of 10/2024 because the ease of finding someone, reading reviews, entering payment info, messaging, and photos. I would absolutely use this provider and Rover again.”

About: I have experience caring for all types of animals whether it’s dogs, cats or even rabbits. I have been pet sitting for close to 4 years and have been regularly dog walking for 2 years. My schedule changes on a weekly basis but I am very flexible. Most weekdays I am available, weekends I am more busy but we will work out a schedule that works for both of us! I want to keep your pet(s) happy and safe. In regards to petsitting I try and follow the routine that your pet is used to, and I love adding in fun activities and enrichment so they can thrive even when you are on vacation. I will also keep you posted with pictures and updates. For walks I change my approach for each pup, some dogs love to sniff, some like to run, and others love to learn new tricks. So whatever your doggy likes I try to provide a sensory rich activity as well as an opportunity for them to get some sunshine.

About: My name is jharasen or jp for short. I have been working with dogs and other pet for many years now at doggy daycares, pet sitting, vet clinics and at the shelter. I am available most days and time to care for your pet and try to make them feel as comfortable and excepted while they are with me. I am also working on getting my training business started here in Forset city and am currently an intern with a trainer in Mills river helping out with an agility class on Wednesday nights. having the knowledge and backing of the trainer I have been able to find creative ways to help with dogs who seemed stressed or needing more outlets when with me. I am super excited to start my journey out here in Forset city and cant wait to meet and help the community here. They are also able to come in and hang out inside as well. I do keep all dogs separated when I am not home and/or able to watch them and at meal time just for safety reasons. Ibam a stay at home mom so my schedule is pretty open, besides for any appointments i might have to go. The only days i am consistently away from the house are Wednesdays from 10 to 3 and Thursdays from 11 to 6 when im at class. I have a fenced-in yard part of it is what i call my rainy day yard which is truf grass with a 3 ft fence around it ... I also have a 6ft fence around the while back yard for the dry days that make the play space much bigger ... but who wants to play in the rain anyways lol. I do slow introduction with ever new pup that comes in and go at their pace to make sure they feel as comfortable as possible while they are staying with me.

About: I love all animals. I will play with them, walk them, and be sure to give them lots of love and attention. I have had pets my whole life and I am used to many difffent types of breeds. I am willing to walk them, jog with them, and just lay around and relax with them. If I could just sit pets for my whole life as a full time job I would. I can look after both your pet and your house! Both will be in very good and capable hands. I know how important pets are, they are like family. I am the most free on weekends, but can do some things during the week in the evenings and mornings before work. I’m off on Fridays during the summer. About: I have had many different animals my entire life including cats, ferrets, chinchillas, chickens, ducks, hamsters, rabbits… In my 20’s I founded “Not Just Pets, Professional Pet Care”. In my 30’s I founded “Equine Specialist, Care and Training”. I had horses for over 30 years. I trained, showed, pleasure road, belonged to 3 horse clubs and eventually started my own 4-H club. I have bred and trained Boston Terriers and German Shepherds. Currently, I have 4 dogs that I rescued from a SC kill shelter. I have worked with Aly from Coal Mountain and Karen from Arcadia Animal Rescue’s. Both have been amazed by how well adjusted the four dogs have become considering how terrified they were in which no one else would take a chance on. Animals are my passion and greatest friends! I am currently taking an online course to become a Certified Canine Massage Therapist. I work for myself taking care of Seniors and animals. Relocated 04.07.2025 from Maine. I make my own schedule and am flexible to care for your furry family! Every situation can be different. Meeting with the client and their animals is important. I like to know about any vices, medications, vet info, where supplies are at, etc. Taking notes and leaving daily notes for each client keeps communication open and I find is appreciated.
