“Thank you Lindsy, my baby Millie had a wonderful time with you and your family. She came home happy and tired from playing and napping all day. I appreciate your accommodation and kindness, we will be booking again for sure, probably today!”

“All I can say is that I didn’t know Georgie could possibly be more spoiled than he already was but he is and that is a good thing! Made the entire trip away perfect knowing he was being so loved. Anyone who adores their dog and considers them their baby and not just a pet, do not hesitate to trust Toni to care for them.”

“Brittany was as sweet as could be--and side note: ADORABLE twin toddlers! ;-) Apparently Buster and the tots kept each other busy to the point of everyone napping by the end of the visit. I was visiting from out of town for a family event, and if/when I go again, I'll definitely leave Buster with Brittany. Thank you so much, Brittany!”

“I am officially a repeat customer! Caroline is easy to work with and flexible when things need to change. I feel very comfortable leaving my doggie with her and her family.”

“Chino was well taken care of while I was away. Chino is shy and when I picked her up she did not seem shy at all with them, especially with Shannon's lovely daughter. I would recommend her and she also has a privacy fence surrounding her backyard, which put me at ease also.I would definitely ask for her services again!”

“I booked this boarding stay last-minute, after our initial pet care plan fell through, but it really couldn’t have worked out better! Valentine and her family were so great with my pup, Rocky. They kept her safe and busy while my husband and I participated in a friend’s wedding festivities. I felt confident leaving Rocky with Valentine, and I would definitely book again if ever back in the area. She’s caring and knows what she’s doing with animals, for sure.”

“Robin is so comforting. She is calm and compassionate with our aging pup, and we are so relieved when he is in her competent care. Robin is our first choice for caring for our sweet little man. 🐶❤️”

“They were great very professional and reasonable. They also send pictures and videos and respond back very fast. Had a great experience with them my dog didn’t want to come back home.”

“Porkchop thoroughly enjoyed ringing in the new year with Heather and Louis. Heather is very responsive and good about sending updates and photos. The drop-off upon my return was a godsend. Louis was a great new partner in muddy crime for Porkchop to get his energy out and his appetite up (sometimes not an easy task when I am away). Will definitely book again.”

“My dog seemed to really enjoy her time with Marnette, David, and Gouda. This was the first time we had our dog stay with someone who we didn’t know personally. I was nervous, but Marnette and David took very good care of our dog. They are trustworthy and kind. We appreciated check-ins and pictures in the morning and at night. Highly recommend!”

“Our pups love Alyssa! She sends lots of updates and pictures for peace of mind. We know they are in loving hands and get to play to their hearts content. Many thanks!”

“David and April - and their dog Joe - were the perfect hosts for my dog Winnie! We had a "meet and greet" a couple of weeks before her boarding, and I immediately felt at ease. I got pictures and a short report every day which eased any concerns I might have had (I really didn't have any after the meet and greet). Their house is very clean and comfortable, and David and April made sure to give Winnie the attention she needed to quickly adjust. I am very thankful I have been able to find someone who I feel so comfortable with - and will look forward to my next trip knowing Winnie will be very well cared for.”

About: I've grown up with kitties my entire life. From taking in kittens that we're abandoned and needed bottle fed every hour, to an elderly cat who needed a loving home to call their own for the last years of their lives. I am very passionate for my work with animals.

“Matthew took excellent care of my two cats. He won over the difficult one ! The cats porch was clean and tidy with fresh water and litter scooped and swept up. Matthew is very conscientious about caring for your pets , highly recommend his services ! I will be happy to have him back for our next trip .”

About: Out of my forty years of experience, I have learned cats are strange magical creatures that you can learn a lot from. From my first cat Kirby to the cats I have now – Witchka, Mama Cat, Spook, and Apollo, each one has taught me something different about themselves and about the world. I also have a profound respect and love for cats. I have been around animals my entire life. Growing up around a grooming solon taught me how to treat animals, and also having cats of my own taught me the responsibility and enjoyment of owning and being a cat parent. My past experiences include: • Working at PetSmart Hotel • Being PetSmart certified • Knowing cat first aid • A cat whisperer • Working with PAWS of Rutherford County and ASPCA • A portion of candles that I made do go to PAWS of Rutherford County. • Being able to give cats medication. I will treat your fuzzy children like my own. If you want someone who will love your cats and be a great substitute pet parent, then look no further than me. Have a wonderful day with your fuzzy kids!
“Lindsy was amazing and we felt so comfortable leaving our cat in her care while we were out of town. Lindsy visited as scheduled and was very communicative, with lots of photos, video, and comments about our cat’s activities. We would definitely trust Lindsy again!”

“Victoria did a great job caring for my two cats. She even left a sweet thank you note and some extra treats. She was great about communicating and absolutely smashed it! I’ll use her again for sure. Thank you Victoria.”

“Anne was amazing with our nervous 1 year old GSP puppy. She was patient and got him to relax and took him on a great walk! Thank you so much Anne!! ☺️ We will definitely have her look after him again in the future🩷”

“Mason was great- highly recommend! She was so prompt in answering my request and all my messages. I felt very comfortable on my trip knowing Penny was in good hands. She arrived right on time for her visits, sent so many cute pics, and kept me updated on Penny the whole time. I will def be booking again next time I need a sitter and would recommend her to anyone in the area!”

“She did such a great job and went above and beyond!!! When I had an issue with wildlife critters getting in the pet door, she went there and checked on everyone right away!!! All of my cats that are normally antisocial love her!!!”

“Frances took wonderful care of our pets! Despite my own lack of organization on day one, she still came by to make sure they were taken care of. I’m so thankful for her flexibility, reliability, and kindness. We truly appreciate her!”

“Andrea did drop in visits for my 2 cats while I was away. She always sent lots of photos & gave a description about what she did when she was there each time. My cats seem to love her. I would definitely recommend Andrea to anyone looking for a sitter! :)”

“Jade was amazing with my kitty, Sylvia! She’s a typical orange cat with all the classic orange-cat energy, and Jade handled her so well. Jade even came by the day before my trip to get familiar with everything and to meet my puppy, Sadie, which I really appreciated. Sadie went to daycare while I was away, but after meeting Jade, I would have zero hesitation leaving her in Jade’s care, too. It’s such a relief to have a reliable, trustworthy cat sitter and dog walker nearby. Highly recommend!”

“Valerie went out of her way to befriend our shy dog and took extra time with him so he would feel comfortable. She sent us texts and photos to let us know how he was doing. I will definitely book with her again when we need a sitter.”

About: Hello! I’m a long time pet lover and house sitter (of my own place) I have interacted with many pets of my friends and worked at animal shelters. My experience with pets starts in high school when I volunteered at the local animal shelter cleaning out kennels, grooming and playing with cats and dogs. I then graduated to being a pet auntie for my friends animals and then pet sitting for various clients. I love pets, they are adorable and I can’t wait until I can have my own! Until then, I guess I’ll just pet sit…. I work from home on most days, so my schedule is flexible enough to allow me to look after pets such as spending quality time, potty breaks, exercising via walks and playing with cat toys. When I care for pets in their home, I take care to read all of the instructions and look after the home. This can include administering medications, accommodating different diets and walking styles (such as the slow walkers, the sniffers, the neighborhood watchers). I make sure to leave the home the way I found it because that is what I would like if I was the pet parent.
About: I have had many different animals my entire life including cats, ferrets, chinchillas, chickens, ducks, hamsters, rabbits… In my 20’s I founded “Not Just Pets, Professional Pet Care”. In my 30’s I founded “Equine Specialist, Care and Training”. I had horses for over 30 years. I trained, showed, pleasure road, belonged to 3 horse clubs and eventually started my own 4-H club. I have bred and trained Boston Terriers and German Shepherds. Currently, I have 4 dogs that I rescued from a SC kill shelter. I have worked with Aly from Coal Mountain and Karen from Arcadia Animal Rescue’s. Both have been amazed by how well adjusted the four dogs have become considering how terrified they were in which no one else would take a chance on. Animals are my passion and greatest friends! I am currently taking an online course to become a Certified Canine Massage Therapist. I work for myself taking care of Seniors and animals. Relocated 04.07.2025 from Maine. I make my own schedule and am flexible to care for your furry family! Every situation can be different. Meeting with the client and their animals is important. I like to know about any vices, medications, vet info, where supplies are at, etc. Taking notes and leaving daily notes for each client keeps communication open and I find is appreciated.

“Holly did an amazing job taking care of my dog, Buddy, while I attended a special event in Union Mills. From the beginning, she was extremely responsive and offered helpful suggestions to make Buddy feel more comfortable, especially since he suffers from separation anxiety. I was concerned about how he would cope, as he typically howls, pants, and shakes until I come home. Holly was very kind and gentle with Buddy, and it was clear that she genuinely cares about the animals she works with. She kept me updated on how Buddy was doing throughout the evening and even sent me a few sweet photos, which helped put my mind at ease. I feel confident recommending Holly to anyone in need of care for their pet!”

“We traveled from out of town and had trouble finding someone who would take an unnuetered pup. I am grateful for JP, we were able to enjoy our tour of the biltmore and was comfortable knowing Zoro was safe.”

“Alyssa and Bryan took such great care of our two girls and they have come back happy and tired both times we’ve sent them! They kept us updated with photos and letting us know what they had been up to. They asked a lot of thoughtful questions about Zoe and Riley and I’m very happy to have found them to take care of my crew. They have a great space and yard for the dogs to play and explore, which was a big draw for me. Will definitely book them again!”

“Madison was absolutely amazing with Ela! Ela is naturally nervous and shy at first, but Madison was so patient with her, and her sweet dog, Maggie, really helped Ela come out of her shell and make a new friend. It meant so much knowing Ela was comfortable and having fun while we were away. Madison kept us updated regularly with messages and lots of photos, which gave us so much peace of mind. She also accepted our reservation last minute, and we're incredibly grateful for how flexible and accommodating she was throughout the entire stay. She was so friendly, caring, and easy to communicate with from start to finish. I couldn't recommend Madison more, and we will absolutely be booking with her again”

About: I grew up with dogs as family pets and have always considered myself a “dog person.” My family had a sheepdog, a black lab, and a Scottish sheepdog, which helped shape my lifelong love for animals. About 30 years ago, I met my wife, a true cat person through and through, and over time I happily transitioned into becoming a devoted cat lover as well. Over the years, my wife and I have shared life with three cats, even taking them on leash walks around the neighborhood—yes, I am proudly that person now. Bella, my 18-year-old super senior cat, just lost her struggle with kidney disease and we miss her dearly. My wife and I spoil our animals all the time. Our cats have always been like children to us and the bonds we build with our animals over the years have been deeply meaningful. I believe animals teach unconditional love, friendship, and have a beautiful way of offering comfort exactly when it’s needed most. In addition to caring for my own pets, I have spent years looking after neighbors’ chickens, rabbits, dogs, cats, hamsters, and even a rat! After 13 years of teaching English at a nearby Early College, I recently retired from education and am excited to begin this new chapter with Rover. I have always had an entrepreneurial spirit. When I am not caring for animals, I run a professional mountain biking guide service in Asheville called Pisgah Mountain Bike Adventures. With more than 40 years of passion for mountain biking, being outdoors and in the mountains is where I feel most at home. I also run an Airbnb in our finished basement and I am currently writing a memoir. I am excited to be part of the Rover team and I look forward to caring for your dog, cat, or other beloved pet with the same level of attentiveness and heart that I have given to everything in my life. I am all in. I am excited to continue growing with Rover and embrace this new direction in my life with enthusiasm and hope, proving it’s never too late to follow a new calling! I am available 7 days a week for dog walks, overnight care, drop in visits, pet transport and housesitting. I am pet first aide and CPR certified and ready to help care for your fur babies anytime. I will board your dog or cat in my home or yours. I am an outdoor enthusiast, so will provide outdoor enrichment, long walks and various activities like playing fetch in the park or snuggles and extra 1 on 1 time for your pet. As a retired teacher, I bring professional level customer service, reliablity and professional pet care for you and your fur babies. I am very flexible with scheduling. Your pet or house is in good hands, leaving you free to go about your day and not worry about your home or fur babies. Thanks for trusting in menfor your pet and houshold needs.
About: I have been a veterinary nurse at an AAHA accredited hospital for the last 6 years, and prior to that, worked at an additional hospital as well as a pet store with exotics. I am more than comfortable administering any method of medication, and taking care of your medical needs, special needs, or senior fur babies. I own two friendly dogs, two sassy cats, and a baby ball python myself- variety is the spice of life. If you’re looking for a medically experienced caretaker for your kids, I’m your gal! *also have grooming experience with medical needs animals I just moved to the Asheville area, so Im excited to explore around. I have just taken a M-Th veterinary position, but I still plan on working Rover into my schedule! I have two friendly dogs, who will play with dogs that want to play, ignore the ones who don’t, and will be gentle with the young and little ones. I do not have a yard, but I am very active and used to taking my large dogs for >3-4 mile walks daily.
“Michelle and her husband kindly accommodated a last minute day care request for our baby Juniper and we couldn’t have been happier with the care she got!! Juniper had lots of fun and was very tired from playing all day. We received many updates and pictures throughout the day. She and her husband will be our first choice for watching our dog whenever we are back in the Asheville area!”

“We are very happy and would highly recommend Matthew and this app to anyone! Both my dogs warmed up to Matthew immediately and were happy to see him every time. It has been a huge relief to know there is someone close by that we trust.”

About: https://www.rover.com/sit/kaitlr39001 I have about 4 years of experience with medically fragile dogs as my dog is a diabetic and takes insulin and requires a prescription diet with frequent potty breaks as well as one other dog who is on daily medications. My other senior pup has discospondylosis so daily medications are something I am very very familiar with as well as being more careful and slower with pups. I currently do part time work from home so I am almost always available to pet sit or board or in home pet sit or even walk your animals. I am a HUGE advocate for animal safety regardless of breed. I love all animals and would never put my dogs or any other animal in harms way.
About: I have experience in dog training with all ages and sizes. I also have experience with horses and exotic animals. I have been pet sitting since high school and have a lot of experience with dog behavior. I’m a stay at home dog mom so I’m always at home with my dog or out running errands! I do go out of town often so message me to confirm! I ensure safety and care as if it’s my own. I know how it feels to not have a sitter or know them. I can do walks, play time, and even just being there for comfort.
About: With many years of experience as a veterinary technician in both shelter and clinic settings, I bring a deep understanding of animal behavior, health, and care to every pet I work with. My hands-on experience ranges from administering medications and handling emergencies to comforting anxious pets and supporting their emotional well-being. I’ve worked with animals of all sizes, temperaments, and medical needs, making me exceptionally well-prepared for pet sitting, dog walking, and providing attentive, professional care. Your pets will be in the hands of someone who treats them with the same compassion, patience, and expertise that I’ve developed over years in the field! I love being able to meet other people's fur babies and make them feel safe and happy when under my care.❤️ I am currently only working three days a week at my veterinary clinic, which leaves me with a fairly open and flexible schedule. This allows me plenty of time to dedicate to pet sitting, dog walking, and providing reliable, attentive care for your pets when you need it most. When caring for pets in my home or a client’s home, I prioritize their comfort, safety, and routine. I make sure to follow any specific instructions regarding feeding, medications, exercise, and behavior. In my home, I provide a clean, pet-friendly environment with plenty of attention, playtime, and a calm atmosphere. When caring for pets in their own home, I maintain their regular routine to reduce stress, keep their space tidy, and make sure they feel secure and loved while their owners are away. My background as a veterinary technician means I’m also confident handling any special needs or medical situations that may arise.
About: Unless you are a pet parent, no one understands what it is like for you to open your eyes in the morning only to find another pair of eyes staring at you, and this huge tongue licking you in the face. Whether you have a cat, dog, bird, etc.., you only want the best for your pet as they are more than just pets, they are family. As pet parents know, each one has his/her own personality and charm. You must have empathy and a sense of humor to be around animals. I have been around animals my entire life (over 40 years). I grew up hanging around a grooming solon knowing how to treat animals. I was taught how to train, groom, and photograph dogs. Our pets can make you laugh when your sad, and wait for you to come home at night, and love you unconditionally. My past experiences include: • Working at PetSmart Hotel • Being PetSmart certified • Knowing dog first aid • Being a dog trainer • Being a dog photographer • A dog whisperer • Working with PAWS of Rutherford County and ASPCA • A portion of candles that I made do go to PAWS of Rutherford County. • Being able to give dogs medication. I will treat your fuzzy children like my own. If you want someone who will love your dog(s) or cats and be a great substitute pet parent, then look no further than me. Have a wonderful day with your fuzzy kids! I own my own business. I can fit pet care into my schedule. I am sure I can work with the client to come into an agreement. I would like to know is there a schedule the client has for their pet, especially for the bathroom. Some pets need to go out every so often. Are there any dangers or allergies the pets has, etc. These are the types of information I will be asking the pet parent to make sure their pet is safe.

With hands-on experience in walking, feeding, playtime, and giving lots of love, I’m dedicated to making sure every pet in my care feels safe, happy, and comfortable. ⏰ My Schedule: I work from my computer so I am completely free for pet sitting, walks, and extra snuggles. Clients often tell me their pets look happy and relaxed in the photos and videos I send. I believe animals can feel when they are genuinely loved, and that’s the kind of care I bring to every visit. Under my care, your pets will always have: ✔ Fresh food and clean water ✔ Regular walks and exercise ✔ Plenty of cuddles, play, and attention ✔ Memorable photo and video updates 📸 My promise is simple: to treat your pets like family and give you peace of mind while you’re away.🐶🐾🐱 Caring for pets is a natural part of my daily routine. I make sure they have healthy food, clean water, exercise, and a comfortable space to relax. During the week, I’m available for before and after work visits, and on weekends I’m completely free to provide longer stays, walks, and extra attention. Pet care fits easily into my schedule because I truly enjoy it—it doesn’t feel like work, it feels like quality time with a furry friend. When I care for pets—whether in my home or in a client’s—I focus on creating a safe, loving, and comfortable environment. I make sure they always have fresh food, clean water, exercise, and plenty of affection. Every pet is unique, so I pay close attention to their routines and personalities to keep them happy and at ease. To give you peace of mind, I send regular photo and video updates so you can see your pet enjoying their time and feeling cared for. My goal is simple: for you to feel completely confident that your furry family member is safe, loved, and well taken care of while you’re away.

I’m a full-time community college student and work part-time, but I always make sure your pet gets the attention and care they deserve. Their well-being is my priority, and I’ll provide plenty of love, playtime, and care while you’re away! My animals are part of my family & I will look after yours in the same way & with the same love. I am a stay-at-home Mom. Your pet will have lots of attention and love. About: Hi! My name is Jade and I am an avid dog enthusiast and college student. I currently own a 1 year old Australian Shepherd and boy oh boy does he have energy. Before him I had another Aussie (female) who acquired cancer around 7-8years old, because of this I have sadly become very skilled with working with sick/hurting dogs. I also love to train dogs, my current Aussie has a Novice Trick Dog title from AKC and we are working on his intermediate title while learning Conformation skills and Therapy dog skills. I am very patient with the pups and am a big believer in positive reinforcement. My Aussie is registered and I am very good friends with his breeder who is very knowledgeable in this field and is always happy to lend a hand. Currently I have no dogs at home, because I live in Tennessee for college and my Aussie is back with my family in Texas. Thanks for your consideration!! I’m currently a student, so I have a very flexible schedule in which I can take care of animals in your home or mine! I love walking dogs (I live in a safe-gated apartment complex) and chilling on the couch with sweet cats! I have a large apartment, and can take the dogs on long walks to suit their needs. I’m diligent about always feeding and watering animals before myself and am fully committed to the wellbeing of the fur babies in my care!
About: I have taken care of dogs and cats since I was the age of 10, I have mostly taken care of smaller dogs, but I can also take care of bigger ones. I'm currently not employed and I'm looking for this to be my job, it would be better if I took care of your pet after 12pm. I take care of six cats and a dog in my home. I provide food and water to them and make sure that they take their medications. I spend a great bit of my time making sure that they are happy and healthy, I get down to their level and spend time playing with them.

“Madison was fantastic! Koa had the time of her life. They had a nice home and a fenced in yard. Madison provided daily pictures and updates of Koa which gave us peace of mind! Will definitely be booking again in the future.”

“Mason and Christian were very accommodating, even when we needed to come back one day late. Hermione seemed to thrive in their care. We will use them again!”

“Laura was amazing!! I got so many pictures and she was so communicative. Her and Kyle really know what they’re doing. My dog loved them and their pups, too! Definitely will be using them again ❤️”

“Chris was great. He was very communicative and helpful with a last minute booking. He came for a meet and great and was very communicative and sent lots of photos. Penny had a blast! Would definitely book with him again”

“Nikki was beyond amazing with her care for our pup! Her home and property are a dog’s dream for endless running and outdoor time. She also made sure Asha got lots of great hikes on the nearby trails! Also, her dog is a wonderful play buddy! Nikki even gave us some goodies from her garden when we arrived and then made sure Asha got an early morning trail hike/romp early in the morning before we picked her up. We couldn’t have asked for better care for our fur-kid. Thank you, Nikki!!”
