About: I’ve been a dog owner for over a decade with a mix of different temperaments and personalities. I’ve also been dog and cat sitting for almost as long for friends and family. From little chihuahuas to Rottweilers, I’ve cared for many doggies. I’ve even helped train my mom’s three Belgian Malinois. Though I wouldn’t do it now with my toddler, I trained/rehabbed an abused Pitt bull seven years ago. She became the sweetest of all my dogs. My son, who is 16 months old and accompanying me, is very active, so we pretty much live outside (yes! Even when there is snow on the ground). If you're stricter with your dog, you need a sitter who'll uphold those rules, not let them slide. I've taken care of dogs and cats for friends and family for years, and I've learned that it's not about what I want — it's about honoring what the owner has built with their pet. I work with the public in my day job, so patience is second nature to me. Pets are no different. They need someone who can read their energy, stay calm, and meet them where they're at. I also love running and playing with animals. Exercise is huge — but I get that a walk isn't always about distance. Sometimes they need to run. Sometimes they need to stop and smell everything.
