“Michelle was great! She was more than willing to accommodate last minute and very thorough throughout the day with how my dogs were doing. She has a perfect back room that is calm and quiet for pups!”
About: Your sweeties are in caring hands 💛 ✅ Experience with pets of all ages & personalities. ✅ Work from home: Attentive to strict care plan. ✅ Happy to assist with training/manners 🐾. As a pet owner of 35 years and a life-long animal lover, I’ve cared for my own puppies, kittens, and elderly pets over the years. Their quirky personalities have brought nothing but joy to our home! I’ve also cared for exotic littles such as snakes, bearded dragons, hamsters, gerbils, chameleons, ferrets, parakeets, Sun Conure Parrots and farm animals (chickens, pigs, horses, “farm sitting”)! Don’t hesitate to ask if you need additional help. We have 2 dogs of our own: One loves to socialize and play with our guests, while the other usually searches for the sunniest window in the house, to nap until the next potty/treat break. Working from home allows me to be attentive to strict potty/medication and walk/play schedules (if your pet is in need of a regimented care plan). I offer drop-in play dates, walks, back-yard potty/play dates and feeding/litter changes, based upon your instruction. I’m also able to host your pets in my home, if you need a sitter. Before booking boarding services with new clients, I request a meet & greet, so that I can get to know everyone and have a clear understanding of your pet’s personality and needs 😁!
About: I enjoy having dogs, and started using this website when I went out of town. Because of this, I know the high standard of care I expect from my sitter, and what you should expect too. I will take the time and care you would for your own dog. I'll give them snuggles, playtime, and lots of outside time depending on the crazy weather we have here of course. Myself and my doggy friends love to take walks, play tug-of-war, fetch and other games your dog enjoys or might enjoy. If your dog comes to our house we have a fully enclosed backyard. It is a great big yard enough to play fetch with a few dogs at the same time. Some just like to sun bathe and watch everyone else run around. Your dogs will have so much fun, and will be well loved while they are here. When my doggie friends come back for a visit the owners tell me the dogs are excited when they turn down my street. I have a Yorkie named Jack, and 3 mini Bernedoodles named Elenor, Dahlia, and Franklin. I am not taking unneutered or unspayed dogs at this time. I have lots of available hours to spend with your pets. My schedule is consistent usually, but fairly open. In the past, I was walking dogs. Not sure if I am going to start doing that or not. I have a fenced in yard and 4 dogs to keep your dog company. We can play in the yard or hang out in the house. I have lots of toys and balls.
“Great first experience with Rover. Jordan took her last minute early in the morning and allowed me to pick her up late in evening. We really appreciated the flexibility and it appears Nylah was well taken care of and had a good time. Thank you ?”

“We can't recommend Julia highly enough! She is caring, considerate and responsive. Our rescue dog has enjoyed doggy day care and weekly walks with her. We appreciate the peace of mind we have leaving our sweet friend in Julia's care.”

“Jacob came to the rescue I. I needed a last minute dog sitter and have now found someone I will continue to use very friendly and Stryker seemed very happy!! He put my mind at ease with pictures during the day!! Thank you Jacob I will be calling again!”

About: Got a cavalier when kids left 20 years ago and have been in love with and taken care of pups for family and friends ever since! I work part time as a sub at a local school lunchroom. Consequently, I have a good deal of time to do what I enjoy most, spending time with and caring for pups!! (and on occasion, cats!) I live in a lovely neighborhood with a nice balance of open space and paths for walks. My husband (also a dog lover) and I have a fenced yard and pup bowls and leashes and toys and even a small crate (from Harley) if your pup feels better taking a nap in it! (and he fits!)
About: I’ve taken care of family and neighboring pets for the last 20+ years. I blog for the pet industry and have a lot of love for our four-legged friends. I will take care of your pets as if they were mine! I am open to walks, drop-ins, and house-sitting! I work from home and can work in walks or play time whenever needed! I also am happy to house-sit during the week or on weekends to accommodate your schedule. I live in an apartment that does not allow pets but I would keep your pets happy in their own home by utilizing their toys and yard that they are familiar with!
About: I am a student at indiana state going to be a psychologist. I have an 3.8 GPA. I have over 15 years experience with all kinds of house animals and would love to take care of yours! My prices are as listed. I can do any and all care you need during the day/night for your animal and even over night! We can go for walks on campus and I have a fenced in courtyard they can play in. I can give medications when needed as well as any food or treats. I can send photos through out your animals visit in order for you to know they are safe and having fun with me. Feel free to message me if you have any questions or concerns. I can not wait to meet your pets!
“Marcella was great!! It was my first time using Rover for daycare and she was very cooperative and understanding. I had very specific times of drop off and pick up and Marcella was perfectly accommodating. Also, when Marcella first met my dog I knew my dog would be comfortable spending all day with her. She was very sweet and friendly with my pup and they did end up having a great day together!! Would definitely recommend Marcella for any and all of the Rover services she offers. Thank you Marcella! Until next time!”

“Bernice was so great and accommodating to my pup. She accepted a last minute day care booking 2 days in a row while my wife got our new house together. I will definitely be using her again.”

“Thanks for hosting Wrigley and Rockett for daycare! They had a wonderful time. Love the pictures and play they have with Mandy, the family, and her pups! As well as other daycare pups!”

“This was our first time to use Rover, and we hit the jackpot with Patty! We were traveling, and her home was close to the event we were attending. When we warned her that our pup is very vocal in new situations, she joked that our pup would be welcomed by her sweet pups with equal enthusiasm. She was right and completely amused with the "party". Later we received photos of all the dogs just lounging around her home after they finished their initial greeting. Patty is just a natural with dogs, and we will definitely call her if we ever need care for our pup while we are visiting in her area. We wish she was closer to our home - this would be a fun day out for our pup on a more frequent basis.”

Sitters on Rover can offer flexible scheduling, so you can coordinate times that work best for you and your pet—whether that’s early drop-off or later pick-up to match your Westhill commute.
If your schedule changes, it’s best to let your sitter know through the app as early as possible. Many sitters can adjust pick-up and drop-off times when needed.
Think of doggy day care as your dog’s fun, supervised play date that happens to fit into your workday. Day care through Rover takes place in a real home. This offers a calmer and more personalized environment for your pup.
A typical day can include companionship, one-on-one attention, and same day pick-up and drop-off. Many sitters can also offer structured routines and exercise throughout the day. For recurring, weekly day care, sitters will include photo updates so you can see your dog in their element.
Here are tips for finding the ideal day care fit for your dog:
- For some small dogs: In-home day care can be the perfect fit. Look for sitters whose "can host" section only lists dogs weighing 0–7 kilograms and/or 7–18 kilograms. During your Meet & Greet, ask about play areas based on dog size and energy level.
- For high-energy dogs: The ideal doggy day care can offer scheduled breaks and outdoor spaces or activities. You can also find sitters who host multiple dogs to satisfy your pup’s socializing needs.
- For dogs who prefer human-only companionship: Use the filters "Doesn't own a dog" and "Only accepts one pet at a time" to find the right care.
Play groups can be an option when you book with a day care sitter through Rover. Many sitters do host a small number of dogs at the same time. Smaller dog packs are generally safer, more fun, and ideal for dogs who enjoy playtime but also want to relax throughout the day. When looking for your dog’s pack, check the sitter’s profile to see if they "Accept multiple clients" or have their own dogs. Then during the Meet & Greet, you can see whether your dog is a good fit for their social circle!
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in IN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Yes, Rover is well-suited for finding sitters who can care for your pet within 24 hours. With 186 sitters in Westhill, 77% respond to messages in under an hour.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
