“Had a great experience with Ann. She always arrived on time and took great care of my pets. Will usual her again for all future trips. So glad I found her!!!”

“Collette was wonderful! Not only did she take great care of our boys (2 cats)- she made the effort to come over to our home prior to this to meet them and learn more about them and their needs. She was friendly and truly presents as someone that cares for animals in a special way. She made sure our cats got what they needed and made the extra effort to give them some affection and play time. She sent pictures of them (lovely to get while you're away!) and updated us on everything when she came to our home. One of our cats takes a transdermal medication and this can be a little tricky, but Collette was confident about it and had no issue administering it. We were reluctant to find someone to take care of our cats but this has been a great experience. We will absolutely be rebooking her in the future! Thank you, Collette!”

“Rae was very reliable and on time! She took great care of our two cats, and was able to coax our shy boy out of his shell. I will absolutely be rebooking with Rae in the future.”

I truly appreciated her reliability and how comfortable she made me feel knowing my cats were in good hands. Highly recommend! :)”

About: In my life outside of Rover, I’m a therapist for humans — but taking care of dogs is therapeutic for me! I have had pets all my life -- cats, dogs, hermit crabs, fish, and horses. I have my own pup that I love more than anything and live in a cat household with 4 kitties. I am very experienced in caring for animals and have pet sit for friends and family while they are away. My friend said "Anyone else, I would be worried, but I'm not worried about you taking care of my dog...I see how much you love yours and how well you treat her, so I have absolutely concerns going out of town." Current people therapist looking to get therapy from animals by helping you! I have a flexible schedule and love animals. Able to pet sit, drop by, or dog walk! My home has too many cats (4) and one dog so I would pet sit in your home, treating it as if I were a guest and treating your dog(s) or cat(s) like I treat mine! (which means a lot of love)

About: I have grown up around dogs since I was born. I have always loved caring for and interacting with dogs. I do not have my own dog currently, but would love to help care for others! I am currently substitute teaching at an elementary school, so there may be weekdays I am unavailable. I am currently not working full time, so I will be available to walk your dog(s) throughout the week! I am open to walking as far as needed for your pup. I have experience safely walking more energized dogs, so your dog will be in good hands! I have also walked up to 3 dogs at a time (various sizes) if you have more than one that needs to be walked a time.

About: I have owned/cared for animals my entire life. I have owned all types of animals, including: dogs, cats, frogs, geckos, horses, and fish. I have cared for other animals, including: pigs, goats, sheep, geese, and chickens. I volunteered at a veterinarian hospital for 2 years and my wife is on the board of “Real Dog Moms of Chicago”. I currently walk/dog sit for a military family that has a senior dog and a 1 year old dog, both with very different needs. I work full remote from my home and am very flexible. I also have experience with both large and small dogs (Mastiffs to Chihuahuas) and all types of cats. I have also walked and dog sit for a rescue pitbull that was a former fighting dog, that the owners will only let me or themselves walk. I love animals and will do anything to make them comfortable, loved, and cared for. I genuinely love the animals I care for. I take care of my own 2 cats and 3 dogs, have continuously helped friends and neighbors with their pets as needed and genuinely love animals. I am flexible with time and work from home with a car. My pets are spoiled and loved for with true care, compassion, and attentiveness. Just tell me exactly what you need, what the animal needs, and I will take care of the animal so you can feel comfortable when you are away. I always send updates and pics with every walk, homecare, or visit. You will always be kept up-to-date and in the know.

When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat each animal like they’re my own: with love, patience, and respect. I take time to understand each pet’s routine, personality, and needs, whether that means sticking to specific feeding times, giving medication, going for long walks, or offering extra cuddles and playtime. I also make sure their environment stays clean and comfortable, and I’m happy to send updates and photos to keep you at ease while you’re away. My goal is always to provide consistency and care so your pet feels safe and happy in their familiar surroundings.

About: I have lived in a dog house my entire life! I grew up with a boxer puppy who lived with us his whole life. I now have a 7-year old Maltese mix that my family adopted just a few years ago I am trying to make some extra money before I go back to school in the fall and I am not currently employed anywhere. Therefore, I have a lot of free time that I want to spend being active and walking dogs. I have a fenced in yard that my dog will spend a lot of time in. He is not a huge fan of walks, but we used to walk our boxer a few times a day around the neighborhood. My current dog also takes medication four times a day. I have also grown up in LaGrange and know the area well, so I know great new places to go for dogs who prefer/need longer walks

“Sophie was prompt, attentive, and very sweet to our baby girl!”

About: Hello! I’m Holly— a proud Marquette and Creighton alum working in Yorkville & living in Western Springs with my family and two incredibly sweet Great Danes. I’ve been around animals my entire life and have experience pet sitting for dogs, cats, and even birds and exotic animals. Whether your pet is young, senior, big, or small, I’m comfortable caring for them all! I treat every home and pet as if they were my own, and am always sure to send daily updates with pictures/videos of your pet to help you stay connected when you are away. I offer pet sitting in both your home and mine (please note that my home is only an option if your pet is comfortable around large dogs). For house sitting, I am open to locations anywhere near Western Springs or near Yorkville where I work. I’m happy to help with a wide range of pet care services and am always willing to tailor support to your pet’s unique needs. As a small thank you for booking with me, I offer a complimentary home cleaning for bookings of 3 nights or more when I’m staying in your home. It’s my way of making sure you return to a happy pet and a tidy home. :) I’d love to connect and see if I’d be a good fit for your family. I invite you to check out my reviews, and additional references can be provided upon request. Feel free to reach out anytime. Thank you! I am a school counselor, so I follow a school schedule during the school year. In the summers I work Monday, Tuesday, Thursday, and a half day on Friday. If your dog cannot be left alone for more than a couple of hours, I have a friend who also dog sits and can often fill in during hours I am working. Feel free to reach out and I am sure we can figure out care that best meets the needs of your pet! Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities, whether I’m caring for them in your home or mine. If your pet is staying with me, please note I have two very friendly large dogs (a Great Dane and a Great Dane/Poodle mix). They’re gentle and love new friends, but I only welcome pets who are comfortable around big dogs to ensure a calm, safe environment for everyone. If I’m caring for your pet in your home, I treat your space and your pet with the same respect and attention I give my own. I understand it can feel like a leap of faith to trust someone new, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’m dependable, clean, and happy to follow your routines closely to keep your pet’s world as consistent and stress-free as possible. I also provide regular updates, photos, and check-ins so you never have to wonder how your pet is doing while you’re away. And if you’d like references, I’d be glad to share them!

William S.
“There is no one I trust with my dog (Cooper, a 7 year old golden retriever) than Bill. Bill is incredibly kind, sweet, responsible and loves animals so much. Cooper took to him immediately, and Bill stepped in for me to help with care specifically on two huge life occasions. First, when my grandmother passed suddenly, Bill was available for care and made a super stressful situation immediately easier for me knowing that Cooper was on such good hands. Bill kept me updated while Cooper was with him on what they were doing, sent tons of pictures and updates and even slept with Cooper (who got a little homesick). Second, Bill was our official “Cooper handler” during my wedding in 2023, where Cooper served as the Dog of Honor. I trust Bill so much that if he hadn’t been able to do it, Cooper would have stayed home - I knew there was bo one else I could trust like I could Bill. He made sure Cooper was walked, fed, ready, cool and happy during a long outdoor ceremony. Once again, Bill was there to save the day with Cooper, and I will be forever grateful for him for his help. I could not recommend Bill enough. If you are looking for someone to care for your pet that you can trust completely, loves animals with their whole heart and will treat your pet like their own, reach out to Bill. He is always my first call when I need help with Cooper. I promise you will not be disappointed and your dog will love him! :)”
