About: I am a trainer with 25 years of working with dogs of all types, including shelter dogs. I currently assist the behavior team and foster department at KC Pet Project. I mostly work from home and I will take your pup for a nice long walk every day on a different trail or to a different lake or conservation area etc. I do not usually accept new clients but a few have sadly passed away. I have a regular extended pack of dogs that I have been watching for years, as needed. I don’t do daycare unless one of my clients needs it. I do have a dog-friendly home with a fenced yard and 20+ trees (lots of squirrels) and no children present or visiting. I have a dog and I may also have a foster or they may be another visiting member of the pack so please check with me if your dog is not dog tolerant. I work from home part-time and my schedule is my own and it basically centers around the dogs. Taking dogs for an adventure is always my first priority every day. I fit errands in around their nap schedule I am very aware of safety and I keep my eyes on the dog/s. They are always with me. I have a fenced back yard and if I have to run an errand and they can’t come with me, I leave them in my dog friendly living room that can be closed off. They can also be crated if preferred.

“Sampson had a wonderful time at Jessica's for daycare. She was able to accommodate us on short notice. She was very kind and updated me with pictures of Sampson as he played. Sampson slept very well after his day of daycare.”

“Kristin is the best! She looked after our 7 year old lab and she had the best day with her dogs in her backyard. She sent several updates through out the day including pictures of Fisher playing in her pool and scoping the yard out with her dogs. Such a better experience for middle age dog compared to the typical doggie daycare. Fisher enjoyed it so much we decided to take her back the next day! Kristin will be our go to moving forward!”

“Manda was great. Peaches was a bit shy at first but she was fine. I’m very pleased with the kind care Manda provided. Definitely will book again.”

“Great first day of hanging out at Savannah’s house. They have such a nice fenced in backyard. Can’t wait until the boys get introduced to the other dogs and get to play. Will be booking again, thank you!”

“Our two pups spent the day at Bart’s and seemed to have had a fine time. Our energetic pup definitely got plenty of play time and come home a little more hungry than usual. :-) It was a great first stay, and i’m Sure there will be many more.”

About: Dogs have always been a part of mine and my husband‘s families since we were kids. We currently own two dogs and love having company. I am currently working from home so I have plenty of time for cuddles, potty breaks, and walks around the neighborhood. Our dogs also love to play or have a napping partner during the day. We have a smaller backyard with a 6 foot fence but plenty of room to run around, play fetch and get out all the zoomies . We also live in a very walkable area with walk paths and parks nearby.

“Can’t recommend enough. Stephanie was available short notice & super considerate before/during Shiloh’s stay. She kept me up updated & Shiloh seemed very comfortable.”

“Absolutely wonderful! She made homemade dog treats for us to take home and gave him extra special care. We also got some cute pictures of him while we were away. He seemed pretty happy when we picked him up, we would definitely recommend and use again!”

About: I’ve been caring for my owns animals since I was young. I have a large home and a large yard perfect for play and sun bathing. I’ve recently moved to working from home full time which will allow me to ensure proper care and love is given at all times. It's all day puppy love around here now. At the moment I have no personal pets of my own. We lost our old beagle over the winter. You can be sure that your family member will be treated as one of my own when they are here in my home. Can provide light grooming (including bathing). Have experience with medical needs as well if needed. I really look forward to the opportunity to watch and love on your puppers.

“Rosie enjoyed her time at Larry’s house. She got daily walks got along well with his dogs. He was very flexible and responsive.”

“We used Leslie’s service’s during a recent trip to Kansas City to meet some relatives from Pittsburgh. Leslie did a great job of keeping our 4 month old GoldenDoodle safe and entertained along with her lovely dog Berti a miniature greyhound. Our Pup Sonnie was always anxious to go to Leslie’s and have a play date with Berti. I would recommend Leslie to any Dog Owner needing daycare for their pup in KC.”

9. Brandi S.
“I had worked with her as a volunteer for a pet rescue in the Seattle area. I saw her work with dogs in a reacue capacity and she was always able to easily handle them, no matter what their energy level. When I decided to move up another step and foster, I was having difficulties potty training, crate training, etc. She went out of her way to make all the steps very simple, easy to follow and as long as I was consistant with whar she had told me, it always worked.. and the most simple of them all was a good long walk on lead, and it always brought them down in energy and all the pups were in good happy state. I saw her once with 6 rescure puppies, 4 large dogs, all from a high kill shelter and she had no problem handling them all. She is truly gifted with animals.”
