About: I have personally had many dogs over the years, and that has given me great experience with them. I have had both large and small dogs of my own. Over the years I have dog sat friends and family's animals countless times. I also have good experience walking dogs, from my own animals, to friends and family's dogs, and volunteering to walk dog at the local humane society. About: I grew up in what is basically a small zoo. Growing up, my chore list included animal care. We had cats, dogs, hamsters, fish, sugar gliders, and I had a hedgehog for 4 years. I just graduated college, and I am looking for developing a work schedule that involves a lot of small jobs. I have been doing seasonal work, and I am set up to substitute at some school districts. I am excited to be able to do pet care alongside these other things. I will be able to feed and take care of basic stuff such as potty time. In terms of potentially interacting with animals, it will be up to the animal. If there is going to be a pet that is shy or untrusting of me, I will give them the space they need to feel comfortable. If your pet is only wanting play time, I can give them play time or walks or whatever they are wanting.

About: My house was always a dog house, now I own two cats and I truly missing having a dog. I’ve done quite a lot of dog sitting and walking as a kid and in the last couple years. I’m very practiced in fetch, walks, and being a couch potato! I’m currently getting settled in the Yakima area and I have a very free schedule. About: I’ve had a love for animals since I was a little girl. My mom has always had a love for cats so we got to raise multiple cats and their kittens growing up. When I was 6-8 I finally got the responsibility of my own dog. It was a huge deal to me and taught me so many things I’m glad I was able to learn at a young age. Animals are a huge responsibility, from health to sensory play to ensure the animal is as happy as can be it’s all a big deal to me. When I was 18 I started to work for another at home pet care service and learned even more useful things. How to administer medecine, how to care for senior dogs and their special needs, and how to love and take care of any animal as if it was my own. At 20 I got the pleasure to work at PetSmart Pet Hotel , although it was short lived because of my living situation at the time it taught me a lot. I got to work with all kinds of different dogs and cats with different temperaments and medical needs. From some of the most viscous dogs to the sweetest ones , I always strived to make all of those animals happy as long as they were with me Animal care fits into my everyday life. Having 5 dogs and 2 cats, may seem like a lot to some, but being able to give a home to all my animals while making them happy is such a treasure to me. I have a fenced yard and 5 loud but friendly dogs and 2 cats. My dogs eat on a twice a day schedule to help them stay on a routine and not be all over the place. Like all pets, they deserve patience, kindness, and respect for their boundaries. I have taken care of dogs of various sizes, including Dachshunds, Boston Terriers, Aussie mixes, and Border Collies! I have experience taking care of multiple dogs, both large and small at the same time during overnight stays. I work 7-6, M-F, so I am currently available to take care of your pups on the weekends! I can watch your pets at your house or drop by to check in on them, whatever you prefer. Thoroughly following instructions in order to safely and responsibly care for your home and pets is my top priority. I always make sure to triple-check my list of responsibilities before I leave a client's house. Communication is also something I value when I care for pets. I do my best to respond as quickly as possible to the owners when a pet is in my care.

About: For Thanksgiving, my wife and I adopted a shelter dog, Gunter! He is filling our house with his big heart and giant head...8-] I know the need for all dogs to get out and get some exercise, and that includes me as well. Taking walks provides a good workout for the pups and peace of mind for the parents as well. Having been used to getting up before the sun to walk him, I am available rather early every day! I currently am a Volunteer at the Humane Society shelter specifically to walk the larger dogs that the staff or other volunteers always need help with. This, by the way, is how I came to see Gunter as needing a home with us! I look forward to meeting you and your dogs!
