About: I have been walking dogs for 3 years. The dog I currently walk is a Golden Retriever with a lot of energy! I have also walked other large dogs as well as small dogs. I currently walk a dog every morning Monday through Friday, and 2 small dogs as needed. We enjoy going for walks and to the dog park if requested. We have gone on car rides to different parks for walks as well as walking in the neighborhood. I love the time I get to spend with the dogs. Dog walking is what I do. Every day Monday through Friday I walk a Golden Retriever. After that I am open to taking on more walking or drop in visits. When going to clients homes I am always careful to be sure to lock up the home after our walk. I check to be sure that there is adequate water. I am respectful of others private space and leave things as I find them. I give treats if requested. On hot days we can keep walks shorter if requested. I will also brush your dog if you request this.
About: I have raised several dogs from the time they were puppies. I have done obedience training with all of them. I truly enjoy the loyal companionship of a dog. I am currently on SSDI, so I am retired. I do have a karaoke DJ business, but that usually only takes me away one or two nights a month. I currently have a French bulldog who is fixed and he is very friendly with other dogs. I also have two cats, but I have the ability to separate them from the rest of the house.
“Emma was amazing. We however dropped the ball this time with a few things and she was so understanding. The pups loved her. Her communication was awesome. Will definitely use her again if she can put up with us 🤦🏻♀️🤣”

About: What sets me apart from other sitters is my six years of dedicated, hands-on experience caring for animals around the clock. I grew up with two dogs and a cat, caring for them through all stages of life—including senior care and end-of-life comfort. I also have experience working with rescues my family adopted, which taught me patience and adaptability with animals of different backgrounds and temperaments. I’m confident working with puppies, senior pets, and those needing special attention, and I truly love and treat every animal as if they were my own. I currently have an open schedule, which allows me to be very flexible and fully dedicate time to pet care. I’m able to plan my days around the needs of the pets I’m caring for, making sure I’m available for feeding times, walks, play, and any special routines or requests. When caring for pets, I prioritize their safety, comfort, and routine. I follow all owner instructions for feeding, medication, and exercise, ensuring fresh water and a clean environment. Whether supervising play, going for walks, or offering companionship, I aim to reduce stress and make pets feel secure and well cared for in any setting.

About: My name is Corrie and I love animals, I have 2 cats, 2 dogs and 2 kids. They mean so much to me. I have a passion for caring for animals of all kinds. I love going for walks with my dogs. I have a big yard that's 2.5 acres and we roam around the whole thing. Some of it's long grass so I will check for ticks. I cut or file my own dogs nails as well and can offer that if needed depending how well the dog or cat does. I work full time but work from home some days of the week, Wednesdays and Fridays. We are available in evenings and weekends. Especially in the winter. We have a large yard. Most of the time we let the dogs out on a 50 foot leash for quick potty breaks. Rocky is allowed to roam a little. Otherwise we walk the dogs around the yard or neighborhood. Have a large crate when needed.
“They did an amazing job with our cat and German Shepherd! Communicated well and sent plenty of pictures. It’s obvious that they bonded with both animals and spent time giving them love while they were here. Very clear that they love animals and that it’s not just a job for them. We plan to continue using their services in the future!”

About: Hi, I’m Stephanie—an animal care professional with 13+ years of hands-on experience and a lifelong passion for creating safe, enriching, and loving environments for animals of all kinds. My journey has taken me from the wilderness of Alaska*, where I raised and cared for a team of Alaskan Husky sled dogs, to leadership roles in animal welfare—working my way up to Operations and CSR Lead at an animal shelter, while also serving as a Client Experience Coordinator at a busy animal emergency hospital. In early 2025, I proudly founded my own rescue, Pawsitive Tales Rescue, where I continue to advocate for and care for vulnerable animals in need. Animals aren’t just my career—they’re my life. Whether I’m caring for playful puppies, senior dogs, shy cats, or medical-needs pets, I bring patience, experience, and genuine compassion to every animal I meet. My background in shelter medicine, emergency veterinary care, rescue work, and behavior gives me the confidence to care for pets with a wide variety of personalities and needs. When I’m not working, you’ll find me outdoors adventuring with my retired sled dogs and my corgi—usually hiking, exploring, or chasing the next view. The mountains have my soul, but my heart belongs to every kitty and pup I’ve had the privilege to love. If you’re looking for someone experienced, dependable, and deeply passionate about animal welfare, your pets will be in caring and capable hands with me. I can’t wait to meet your furry family. 🐾 I’m currently working part-time at the local animal shelter and part-time as an animal care taker. In addition, I have six of my own dogs and two cats. It’s dogs and cats from the moment I wake up until I go to bed! I have a fenced in yard where your pup can run and stretch their legs as much as they want! All of my dogs are friendly and social and my cats are dog savvy. You’re pets will be treated with the best care possible - I’ll treat them as if they’re my own.
“Aida did a wonderful job taking care of our two dogs, one of whom has special needs. She was very prompt and provided great feedback. Felt really comfortable leaving our two pups with her!”
About: I have owned a pet all my life, I had a dog like many young kids and at around 17 I started taking care of her full time. (She was a small dog) After she passed I adopted a cat and took care of him. More recently I pet sit for my friends and neighbors dealing with dogs as young and as big as a 1 year old Great Dane. I also have taken care of 18 year old cats that needed medication twice a day. I make sure to ask what your expectations are and do my best to exceed those and take great care of your pets. I understand that pets are more than just animals they are your family and it is an important responsibility to take care of them while you are away. I am currently a freelance artist and substitute teacher which makes me available to meet nearly everyone’s schedule as I am able to make my own. If you need a strict schedule with specific times for your animals comfort I am more than able to accommodate that. It is important to me when taking care of an animal that they are staying in a safe and clean home, I am more than capable and willing to clean up any and all messes that arise while you are away.

All of our animals are up to date on shots and other preventions and I would ask that your dog(s) meet this requirement as well so that all animals can stay healthy and happy. Rest assured that your fur baby will be well taken care of while on “vacation”.

About: I’ve always been a huge animal lover, and caring for dogs has been a big part of my life for years! I’m a proud husky dad to Obi, and I’ve also spent years helping care for my family’s French Bulldogs and Great Danes. So I’ve experienced just about everything, from energetic huskies who always want another walk, to stubborn little Frenchies with big personalities, to Great Danes who think they’re lap dogs! Having experience with such different breeds has taught me that every animal has their own personality, routine, and needs. I’m comfortable with dogs of all sizes, and I also welcome opportunities to care for cats. What sets me apart is that I don’t look at pet sitting as simply feeding an animal and letting them outside. I genuinely enjoy spending time with them, playing, going for walks, and making sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I also understand how much trust it takes to leave your pet with someone else. I’ll treat your pets with the same love, patience, and attention I give my own, and I’m always happy to send pictures and updates so you know they’re doing great while you’re away! I work in the mortgage industry, which gives me some flexibility with my daily schedule. Being a dog dad myself, taking care of animals is already part of my everyday routine! I’m used to making time for walks, feeding, playtime, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I enjoy staying active, so having another four-legged friend along for a walk is always a bonus. I’m available for weekday and weekend care depending on my schedule, and I’m happy to work with owners to make sure their pets’ routines are maintained as closely as possible. Whether it’s an overnight stay, a weekend getaway, or a quick check-in, I want to make things as easy as possible for both you and your pet! Your pet’s safety and comfort are always my top priorities. As a dog owner myself, I know how important it is to trust the person you’re leaving your pet with. I live in a townhome with my husky, Obi, who is a big part of my life. Before welcoming another dog into my home, I like to arrange a meet-and-greet to make sure everyone is comfortable and gets along. I understand that every pet has different needs, whether that’s extra exercise, a quiet place to relax, a specific feeding schedule, or just some extra attention. I’m careful about following each owner’s instructions, keeping dogs secure during walks and outdoor time, and making sure pets are supervised and comfortable. When caring for pets in their own homes, I respect their space and do my best to keep their normal routine consistent. I’m also happy to provide regular photos and updates so you can enjoy your time away knowing your pets are being well cared for!

About: I’ve taken care of many dogs and I have 4 cats as well. Many people trust me with their fur babies because I treat them as my own. I’m working part time so any day I do not work I offer my services and will gladly care for your animal. I don’t prefer any times, whenever it works best for you I’ll work around your schedule ! (I also am a full time student) I do everything that is stated on the schedule and I also make sure the animal feels comfortable with me. I will also do anything that the owner (you) wants me to do.
About: I’ve spent years caring for my own dogs and raising animals, which has taught me patience, responsibility, and an understanding of different personalities and needs. I treat every pet like family, making sure they feel safe, loved, and comfortable. What sets me apart is the genuine bond I build with animals and my dedication to their happiness, whether that means playtime, walks, or simply giving them the attention they deserve. Caring for pets is already a part of my daily routine. Between feeding, walking, playtime, and keeping up with my own dogs, I’m used to giving animals structure and attention every single day. Whether it’s early morning walks or evening walks, pets are always the center of my schedule. In my home, I make sure pets have a safe, comfortable space where they feel welcomed as part of the family. I stick to regular feeding schedules, provide plenty of playtime and walks, and give lots of love and attention. When I’m caring for pets in a client’s home, I do my best to follow their routines as closely as possible, whether mealtime, walks, or bedtime, so pets feel secure and stress-free. My goal is to always create consistency, comfort, and trust.
About: I’ve grown up with pets my entire life and have always been a natural animal lover — animals tend to love me just as much as I love them. I currently have a few cats and live with my best friend, who has a dog of her own that I help care for regularly (she’s basically mine too!). I also have hands-on experience working with dogs from spending a couple of years at a doggy daycare, where I learned how to care for dogs of different sizes, personalities, and energy levels. I’m currently a server, and with it being the slow season right now, my availability is very flexible and open for most days and times. I love caring for pets in their own homes, where they feel safe and comfortable. I follow all routines, feeding schedules, and special instructions so your pet gets consistent care and plenty of attention. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just snuggles, I make sure your pet feels happy, loved, and well looked-after while you’re away.

About: I've been taking care of people's cats and dogs alike ever since I was a teenager around the Edina neighborhood. I moved to Woodbury around 2019 where I adopted a cat. I grew up with dogs but I've wanted a cat too so now I'd say I'm proficient with both cats and dogs. I work part-time. I have flexible schedule on Tuesdays, Wednesdays and Fridays.so I'm pretty much available all day on Tuesdays, Wednesdays, and Fridays. I'm available to stay overnight if that is a need for the pet. I always make sure to establish trust between myself and the pet and the pet parent. I also understand animals need time to adjust to new people and every animal is different. Some also need more space to adjust and I'm that person that will give the time and space the animal needs.

You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
