“Rebekah was wonderful with my dogs! She sent lots of photos and updates, which gave me so much peace of mind while I was away. It was obvious she spent time playing with them and making sure they were happy, not just letting them out. I could tell she genuinely cared about them, and they were well taken care of. I would absolutely book Rebekah again and highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable, caring, and trustworthy Rover sitter!”

About: I have raised several dogs from the time they were puppies. I have done obedience training with all of them. I truly enjoy the loyal companionship of a dog. I am currently on SSDI, so I am retired. I do have a karaoke DJ business, but that usually only takes me away one or two nights a month. I currently have a French bulldog who is fixed and he is very friendly with other dogs. I also have two cats, but I have the ability to separate them from the rest of the house.

About: With a background in veterinary technology schooling and professional experience at a dog daycare, I offer knowledgeable, high-quality care for your beloved pets. I have a lifetime of hands-on experience owning and caring for animals of all sizes—from hamsters to horses—and am fully confident and experienced in administering medications if your pet needs them. Whether your animal is big, small, high-energy, or needs extra medical attention, I am dedicated to keeping them safe, happy, and well-loved while you are away! I am currently a stay at home mom with a 3 year old little boy. Looking to make some extra money helping others with trustworthy and loving care for their pets. I would love to provide care for clients from their homes. I can do over nights, or just spend a few hours with your beloved pet. Take them on walks and give them lots of cuddles.
About: I am a single mom, who enjoys animals just about as much as I love children. My son loves taking dogs for walks and helping me care for them. It teaches him about responsibility, integrity, and so much more.. Plus we get to play with many different animals and who doesn't love that! I enjoy all breeds of dog whether they are large or small as long as they're friendly with children. I am very professional, and respectful of people, their homes and their pets and have never gotten a bad review from any customer that I've ever had. I always go the extra mile to make the customer and the pet feel as comfortable as possible because it's hard to leave a pet, and also hard for a pet when the owner leaves.
About: I’ve been around animals all my life. I have three goldendoodles, Sullie who’s 10, Allie who’s 5, and Marlie who’s 2. I have helped potty train them all and have taught them basic tricks. I have also cared for friends/families pets when in need. I love all animals and enjoy making them feel safe and comfortable. Whether your pet needs walks, playtime, medications, or extra cuddles, I’m happy to help. I’m currently a full-time nursing student and have a summer nurse internship working 12 hour shifts, but I have multiple days off throughout the week that allow me to spend quality time caring for pets. My schedule varies, so I keep my availability updated. When I’m caring for your pet, they’ll get lots of attention, love, and dependable care! I always try to stick to each pet’s normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and stress free. In your home, I will provide feeding, fresh water, walks, playtime, litter box cleanup, potty breaks, and lots of attention and affection. I also make sure the home is left clean and secure. I’ll also keep owners updated with photos and messages so they know their pet is doing well!

We live on a lake with 3 acres of land. Your pet will be one of our family members and treated well with lots of playtime and cuddling. I currently have one dog who is very friendly with other dogs. However we follow your wishes, meaning if you prefer no bed then they will have plenty of dogs beds on the floor to sleep on.

I can house sit for a few hours but I am unable to provide overnight care due to having my own animals. I can however recommend someone else who has overnight care experience who watched my animals just ask! I work from home so I am able to take my computer with me wherever I go as long as there is internet! Only able to stay for a few hours 2-4 hours for a check in During summer months walks will be under 30minutes and rate of $25 due to buyness of season and it being too hot, i will not walk your dog in hot weather for more than 15minutes and if its 90degrees and will be adjusted for times of morning hours to later in evening due to weather- I can take pictures, I let my dogs sleep on my furniture they have beds of their own, I feed my dogs twice a day.

About: ✨️🐶 Please read my profile in full (including availability and pricing sections) before reaching out with a service request 🌈🌥🐈⬛ I have always loved and cared about the welfare of animals ever since I can remember, and even had several different pets of my own growing up that I cared for, including a couple of dogs (one of which lived to be 17 years old!). I have past experience with volunteering at organisations such as the SPCA (providing care for cats, dogs, and rabbits) and caring for cats at AniMall Cat Clinic. I have helped several close ones and neighbours thoroughout the years with pet care needs for their dogs and cats, which included: feeding, walking, providing transportation to veterinary appointments, bathing, basic grooming, and just spending quality time with the pets. Some of my specialised experience includes caring for pets with mobility issues, breeds that are reactive to other dogs (but still love the company of humans), breeds that are often subject to housing or insurance restrictions (some of which have included: Pit Bulls, German Shepherds, Rottweiler mixes, Belgian Malinois, Huskies, Dobermans, Staffordshire Terriers, Malamutes, and American Bullies), and experience in administering medication to both dogs and cats in oral, injectable, and topical forms. 🐾 Please note I work M-F full time (excluding major holidays), and am currently unable to provide midday breaks when working due to the nature of my work. My standard for bookings that fall on weekdays is to provide care in mornings before work, evenings after work, and of course, stay overnight in the home (and be more present on weekends). I can best accommodate pets whose daytime care needs would be covered while I'm at work (such as through a doggy door or litter box, neighbour check ins, or if pets need less frequent bathroom breaks) . 🌟I am open to discussing alternatives as well such as taking your pet to doggy day care while I work. However, transportation will incur an extra fee in addition to the booking that varies depending on distance and time requirements. For walks and drop ins in particular, I would be a great choice for pet parents that need care in evenings, nights, and weekends. I focus on understanding each dog's individual temperament, communication style, and needs. I will listen to/observe your pet's body language and demeanour before approaching, and will always interact with them gently and kindly. On walks, I always use a leash or harness to keep the pet safe. Furthermore, I always strive to keep an eye out for any potential hazards to pets while they are in my care and will always act swiftly to remove said hazard so your pet will be out of harm's way. I do believe too that good pet care includes planning for the unexpected, so I like to establish emergency contacts, veterinary/animal hospital information, and contingency plans with every client before a stay (and preferably have these included in written directions too).

I’m a at home student and barely have to make drives to my college so I’m very flexible ! I’m available for set or flexible schedules ! Whatever makes your life easier ! I have no problem taking your pet to the dog park if needed or walking them or even waiting outside while they explore ! My puppy loves to interact with other dogs while we are on our walk
About: I grew up in a household full of animals, caring for a husky, a German shepherd, three cats, two bunnies, and a hamster. This gave me hands-on experience with pets of different sizes, temperaments, and care requirements. I've also dog-sat numerous times, including for pets needing medication, which I have administered with care and precision. My background ensures I'm comfortable with diverse needs, from playful puppies to senior pets. I bring a nurturing approach, a deep understanding of animals, and a commitment to treating every pet like they're part of the family! I currently have a very open schedule, and can be at home most of the day. I would have lots of time to spend with your pup or kitty. In my home, I provide a safe, comfortable, and pet-friendly environment where animals can relax, play, and feel at ease. I follow the owner’s care instructions closely, ensuring their pet’s routine, diet, and exercise needs are met. In a client’s home, I maintain their pet’s usual routine to minimize stress. I provide companionship, regular walks or playtime, feeding, and medication administration if needed. I keep the home tidy and respect the client’s space, ensuring their pet is happy and well cared for in familiar surroundings.
“Our dogs are happy when we leave so they can have their BFF Sharron come to play! Wipes away the guilt of being away when they feel like they’re on their own vacation.”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs and cats! People relied on me to take care of their babies and I did it effectively and with love❤️ I work a full time job but I work 4 days on - 4 days off so I am available during those days off to help! I know many dog parks that is something you’d be comfortable with your pet going to! I could bring my pups as well if you are comfortable with that

Pet parents share their Rover experiences - Edgewood
Olivia is amazing! She stepped in and helped us out when our scheduled dog sitter had to cancel with short notice due to a funeral. She met all my floofy goofs needs and went above and beyond to make sure they got affection, stimulation, and bathroom breaks during her drop in visits. She sent lots of pictures and clear and detailed reports. I look forward to rebooking with her in the future!

You and your sitter can agree on a care schedule that fits your pet’s routine and the sitter’s availability. Pet Sitting can be booked as a one-time or recurring drop-in visit. If you need overnight care or dog walks, you may also be able to book House Sitting or Dog Walking through Rover with the same sitter, provided they offer those services.
Before booking, confirm:
- the timing, length, and frequency of visits;
- the care instructions the sitter should follow;
- which parts of your pet’s usual routine should be prioritized;
- how often you would like to receive messages, photos, or other updates.
Not every sitter offers the same services, availability, or booking options. Review their profile and discuss the care you need through Rover before booking each service.
If you would like updates while you’re away, you can discuss with your sitter how many or how frequent you’d like those updates to be. The Rover app allows sitters to send photos, videos, and messages about your pet, including how many pee or poop breaks occurred. You can message your sitter at any time through the app and our support team is available 24/7 by email or chat if you have concerns.
The personalized, in-home nature of pet care through Rover can mean more individual attention for your pet.
Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.
If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

- 87% of sitters can help with special care needs
- 93% can help with giving oral medications or injections
- 95% can help with daily exercise
You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.
Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a casual meeting to vet potential sitters and communicate care needs for peace of mind before a booking begins. Only sitters who have never booked with you before can schedule a Meet & Greet on Rover; however, you are welcome to coordinate one in Rover messages with sitters you have previously booked. This can be helpful if you have a new pet or routine you want to go over with your sitter.
Meet & Greets can take place in person or virtually. If you are booking with a sitter for the first time, we recommend in-person Meet & Greets to get a clearer sense of how your sitter interacts with your pet or the new environment.
During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Meet & Greets are a great way to prepare your pet and sitter for longer stays or first-time bookings. Read our tips for your first Meet & Greet.
sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their contact information. Sitters may set a same-day, one-, three-, or seven-day cancellation policy. Cancelling within your sitter’s cancellation policy qualifies you for a full refund.
Same-day cancellations for recurring services, which include walks, drop-ins, and day care, follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for pet boarding and house sitting, if you cancel after 12 pm on the applicable cancellation deadline, you’ll receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for any remaining days.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means you will get a full refund and our support team will work with you to find a replacement sitter.
