About: Hi, Everyone! My name is Cara. Thank you for visiting my page. My strong admiration for animals has only grown more with the more animals I meet and as a result, it brings me genuine happiness. It is a rewarding experience to be able to take care of any animal that needs it while their owner is away. Since starting Rover in August 21’, I’ve had 10+ repeat clients and have established great friendships with families/people in the community as a result. I have a M-F teaching position 8am-4pm. A half hour lunch long lunch where I can leave to care for your furries in the middle of the day depending on the distance. Dogs will be crated when I’m not home. A little history: I grew up with a miniature schnauzer (Zoie) whom towards the end of her life, needed constant supervision and was administered medicine 3x/ day, grooming/washing daily. I was always there to comfort her until the end of her life and spoiled her beyond belief. Myself and my family provided care to my mini schnauzer for over 12 years. As a child, I never had a dog sitter to send updates, pictures/videos for my sweet Zoie when my family would travel, so I strongly understand the importance of quick and reliable communication/sending updates while you’re away. Experience - administering medicine/injections - cats, big dogs, small dogs, senior animals, special needs pets, pigs, cows, chickens. -exercise/run with your pet -hospice/end of life care (Repositioning every hour, hand feeding, massages, cooking packs, frozen bone broth snacks on warmer days, the list goes on) Pets and animals deserve to be spoiled but most importantly, they deserve to be loved. I have a white fur baby (Minnie). Shes a loyal, sweet and well behaved dog, I’m so lucky and thankful for her every day as she brings me so much happiness. She stays at home with her other best friend, my significant other while I’m away. About: Do you ever look at your dog and think how did I get so lucky...Pups to many our like children they get all the love you have to give...Like you the time I am with them I will love and adore them...I've almost always had a dog...My beagle Shelby 15 1/2 passed away on December 20, 2022 and Dante passed away July 4th 2020, I don't have the heart to delete them he was 11 and had been with me the past 4 years since I saved him from the NYC kill shelter on his last day...I trap cats have them fixed and find them homes, some stay (10)....I am active on house sitting sites and travel for sits whenever I have free time from work (photographer)...For years I have taken care of friends cats, dogs, horses, cows, goats and Rizzo the rat... I work a lot from home only gone a few hours at a time if I do need to go out for any jobs or errands... I do have an indoor/outdoor kennel in my barn in the house I have a spare bedroom a pet can have if they need their own space also a mud room which I mostly use for kittens/cats I have trapped...

About: I am very well equipped to care for dogs and cats with varying needs and abilities. Each animal deserves the love we would give our own child. I’m currently looking for new opportunities having just moved back to the area. I have grown up here and have cared for many pups and kitties and would love the opportunity to give your pet the love and care they deserve. About: I have been involved in animal rescue since 2016. I have had a handful of foster dogs all with behavioral issues so nothing is too difficult for me to have in my home. I have since had about 300 foster animals not including the farm animals we have rescued over the years. I love all animals and will never not help an animal in need. I used to have a dog walking service from the ages 10-12 and also used to watch everyone’s pet sun the neighborhood while they were on vacation. I then worked at a shelter. That got me into my interest in fostering. I have dabbled in dog training but have never done it professionally only with my personal dogs , foster dogs and friends dogs, until now ! I started my own training business at Sit Happens K9 Academy. I can provide assistance with training if needed as well. We have 4 dogs of our own , cats , goats. , chickens , ducks , rabbits etc. Everyone is able to be separated if need be. As stated above all animals are welcome . We love them all and hope to see your pets soon ! I am in and out of my house frequently to let my own dogs out so that’s a plus ! I chicken sit for a lot of my neighbors and I do in home pet sitting for my friends dogs who I have been watching for 7 years now. I have one client who I do in home dog sitting for for nearly 7 years now. Her dogs do not do well with cats but that is okay as I am able to have them separated. I have 5 dogs not all are good with other dogs and every dog is different. The way my home is set up is I am able to have dogs outside in a roofed kennel run , out on a lead, or on a fence system whatever the owner prefers. I am able to have the dogs away in a separate room of my house if they do not get along with other animals or prefer to be alone. I also have a number of crates if anybody needs to be crate rotated. Basically if the owner doesn’t want their dog to have contact with other animals for whatever reason , I am able to have them separated. Same thing with cats. I have a spare bedroom that is actually set up for my foster cats. It has their furniture , litter boxes , food , water , and crates if they need to be crated, both large and multilevel. I have dealt with pretty much any type of accommodation for any type of animal. I do have my dog training business and have seen just about every single behavioral issue you can think of as well.

About: I have had dogs my entire life. I absolutely love animals. I hope to one day open my own shelter to keep dogs off the streets & give them all a second chance at life. I currently have a 3 year old Keeshond male (neutered) who i have raised since a puppy. I have trained him myself & am currently studying different ways of training dogs. I also have experience with senior dogs. I watch a 15 year old husky regularly. I currently work in a restaurant so i go into work later in the day. my boyfriend & i work opposite days so your fur baby will never be alone if you are boarding with me. i do not accept boarding on days i cannot give your pet my full attention. my schedule for walking & drop in visits is very flexible. i also understand that life happens so any last minute cancellations are 100% okay! As previously stated i have a 7 year old pup to keep your babies company! he loves people & animals! we go for walks around the neighborhood & often go to the dog park. This can absolutely be an option for your dog as well as long as they are up to date & do well with others! in my home i also have a cat & a chinchilla. my cat is very easy going & my chinchilla will always be in the cage while your pet is in my home.

About: Since childhood my family has always had dogs. At one point we had 4 dogs at once, 3 pit bulls and a lab. Now, at 35 years old and married, my husband and I have rescued 3 angel pit bulls, Esme, Umi, and Luna, and a black cat, Jax. They are our whole world! Now that I am home full time, I would love to help others with pet care needs because I know how hard it could be to find someone that is not only trustworthy, but experienced! I am currently home full-time and I wake up early (around 5am everyday)! Any day during the week works for me and weekends if enough notice is given! We have an invisible fence at our home for our 3 dogs. Our cat is an indoor cat only and has his own room upstairs to get away from the dogs and have some peace and quiet if he chooses!
