About: I am in incoming second year at Colorado State University majoring in animal science and looking to become a Veterinarian. I have sat for family and friends pets since a very young age and have enjoyed all of my experiences. I worked at University of Wisconsin’s vet clinic for two years in High School taking care of and cleaning up after various kinds of animals. I am available almost everyday over the summer with exceptions of some vacations. I am very flexible on the days I am in town as I don’t have another job or any other prior commitments. I can do anything needed including walking, feeding, cleaning up after, spending time with, or playing with animals. I would not be able to take any pets at my house since I have two dogs of my own but I would be more than willing to stay over at owner’s homes! really anything needed involving animal care I can provide.

Whether it’s providing extra attention, managing specific routines, or ensuring their health and comfort, I’m dedicated to giving your pet the best care possible. I'm studying full time for my MCAT exam, so this is my only job at the moment. That being said, I make my own schedule and can adapt to the schedule that works best for you! About: I’ve been caring for pets for years, starting with walking dogs for my neighbors — from tiny terriers to big, energetic labs. That hands-on experience taught me how to handle different sizes, breeds, and personalities with confidence and care. What sets me apart is my calm, reliable nature and genuine love for animals. I’m comfortable with leash training, reading dog body language, and keeping even the most energetic pups engaged and happy. I’m also attentive to each pet’s needs — whether that means a brisk walk, a slow stroll for a senior, or extra cuddle time. Your pet’s safety, routine, and happiness always come first with me. I have a very flexible schedule and am available anytime — weekdays, weekends, and even holidays. Pet care fits perfectly into my routine because I truly enjoy spending time with animals and can easily adjust my day around their needs. Whether it's an early morning walk, midday visit, or evening check-in, I’m ready whenever your pet needs me. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I treat it as my own. I follow all routines closely from feeding times to walks and medication and always prioritize your pet’s comfort and safety. I keep a calm, clean environment and make sure pets feel secure, whether they’re outgoing or shy. I pay close attention to details like locked doors, clean water bowls, and tidy spaces. I’m also happy to send regular updates and photos, so you can feel confident and connected while you're away.

“Michelle is spectacular! This was my first Rover experience and I was quite concerned my pup wasn't going to cooperate with a (relative) stranger for a walk BUT from the moment they met for a Meet and Greet Michelle was his friend. It's obvious she truly loves dogs and I know mine loves the time they spend together. I strongly recommend Michelle to any Rover user and will recommend this app to friends.”

About: I regularly walk and check in on a dog four times a week and have pet sat for several families. I’ve also helped care for my grandma’s dog over the years. I’m reliable, patient, and always make sure pets feel safe and cared for. I am currently on summer break, so I have a pretty high availability to care for pets — through boarding, quick walks, drop in visits, etc! I provide a calm, safe environment and always follow care instructions closely. Though I don’t have a fenced yard, I’m comfortable caring for dogs and cats — supervising pets carefully to ensure their safety and comfort at all times.

About: I am a dog lover who work from home, so your pup will always have care and attention. My own sweet dog Nila loves having canine friends over to play or relax with! I pride myself on being highly communicative—expect lots of photo and video updates throughout the day :) Your pup will never be left alone for long stretches and can enjoy frequent potty breaks, walks, and play sessions throughout the day. We usually start the morning with a potty break and outdoor time. Midday includes more walks, visit to dog park, or play with Nila. We wrap up the evening with another outdoor break and wind-down time. Whether your dog is playful or prefers a quiet spot to relax, we’ll adjust the routine to meet their needs. We live in a quiet, dog-friendly residential area surrounded by parks, grassy trails, and trees. We live on the first floor, with quick and easy access to the outdoors, including a dog run.

About: With over 5 years of experience caring for dogs and cats from a young age, I provide attentive, loving, and safe care. I am skilled in managing pets with strong leash-pulling behaviors and handling various situations to ensure they remain calm, controlled, and away from danger such as harmful foods or chasing other animals. My priority is always the safety, happiness, and well-being of every pet under my care. Pet care is a natural part of my everyday life. I have hands-on experience handling multiple breeds, from small Poodles to large Labradors and Bernedoodles, including dogs with strong pulling strength. As a Golden Retriever owner, I take my dog out multiple times a day for long walks and hikes, ensuring both physical exercise and mental stimulation. This routine has made me skilled at managing dogs of all sizes and energy levels. When caring for pets at my home, I create a safe, pet-friendly environment with plenty of playtime, regular walks, and consistent feeding schedules. I ensure they are comfortable, supervised, and get both exercise and affection throughout the day. At clients’ homes, I follow all provided instructions carefully—maintaining feeding times, walking routines, and any special care requirements. I respect their home and make sure pets feel comfortable in their own space while keeping them safe, engaged, and happy. If needed, I can provide video service to capture all the work I did since I completely understand how we as pet owners like to see what our best pet friend did with a new friend.

About: Was the owner of a very well loved Labrador so plenty of experience with dogs outside of the app. Have had the opportunity to board a dog and provide walking services already and am looking for more opportunities. I work part-time outside the home and my spouse works at home full time so they will get plenty of attention during the day. Additionally my 3 kids love animals. I am flexible with what works best for your dog including more frequent walks, using a crate, special diet, or letting them use my home like any other guest.

About: I've taken care of dogs since I was 13 and a former dog boarding attendee! I've had my own dog for 8 years, as well as, other animals previously. I worked at a dog boarding and daycare facility for 1.5 years in high school, where I learned the in's and out's of supervising clients' dogs and cats. I took care of the animals that slept over, let them outside, feed them, and medicated those who had prescriptions. In addition to the experience of handling other individuals dogs, and my own dog, I have learned the different behaviors each dog can portray. This has played a key role when I take my own dog on a walk, or approach other dogs in public. Overall, I have a huge love for dogs! I just graduated from the University of Colorado Boulder in May, and am back home in Madison for the summer! I am available most days and times. Starting mid August, I'll begin my full-time job switching to morning and evening availability. Entering other individuals homes, I want to respect the environment you and your dog is comfortable with. I am flexible with what that looks like, whether that is going outside, placing them in a crate, etc. I am fully understanding each dog's routine is different.

I have plenty of time throughout the day to take care of dogs because I currently do not have another job! I prefer to work early in the morning/afternoon. At my home, there is a lot of space for my doggies to run around because there is a park right outside my door which is great! They also have their own play space inside.

West Middleton dog parents share their Rover experiences
We met Julie for a meet-n-greet to see if she'd be a good fit for in home care with our 15 yr old Westie. While it may not work out due to scheduling and logistical issues, we We very pleased with Julie's professionalism in keeping in touch, our meeting, and being clear about what she could or could not help us with. We appreciate that with service care. It's nice to know what you can expect, and it's a benefit for the service provider as well. If we need care for our little buddy from Julie, I know I could trust her wholeheartedly.

I highly recommend Iva for her services. From our first meeting at the in-person Meet & Greet, it was clear that she genuinely cared for my dog, Millie, as if she were her own. Iva quickly adapted to Millie's senior dog needs and promptly informed me of any concerns she noticed, keeping me well-informed. Having just moved to the area to start a new full-time job, this was my first experience leaving Millie home alone. Knowing that Iva was coming to walk her twice a day gave me tremendous peace of mind. I appreciated receiving brief reports and photos of their time together during my busy workdays. Iva even took the time to show extra love to my cat, Missy.
