“Angelita took wonderful care of our fur baby over two daycare stays when we vacationed to Lancaster. She was very communicative and provided lots of pictures to keep us informed and confident about the success of his stay. It’s evident that Angelita cares a lot about her dogs and their comfort. If we ever need help again when we vacation to Lancaster, we would definitely ask Angelita to watch him again. She even gave him some handmade dog treats and a bow tie at the end of his stay so we can remember our visit. Thank you for all the great help!”

“Our pup Josie is working on separation anxiety and Mai was willing to work with us. We were hopeful and it turned out great! About: I have taken care of dogs almost my entire life. I always had Labradors growing up so I learned the importance of routine, trust and love necessary to care for a dog. I have cared for dogs of all breeds and sizes and take care to get to know each one for the best outcome. I am loyal and reliable so you can count on me to care for your dog. I am currently not working so I am available to take care of your dog all day long. I am up early and have no problems getting up during the night for dog potty breaks if necessary. I have a yard that has a large open space behind it for your pup to run. I have one 4 year old Labrador that loves exercise and every animal and human he comes in contact with. I also have two boys that love to cuddle and show your dog love. My dog does not get crated when I leave but I have no problems crating your dog. I have plenty of space in the house to keep your dogs water and food dishes separate from my own dogs. My dog gets at least one walk a day and is always happy to go on more. Fetch rules our day, inside and outside. If I am in your home, I am very respectful of your space.

I have availability throughout the holiday season this year and am happy to meet the needs of your fury family members! Please let me know what kind of care you want your pet to get. I have a fenced yard and always supervise pets when outside and indoors. I live in a great area for safely walking dogs. About: I have loved and cared for different dog breeds, from chihuahua to golden-doodle; and I bonded with a rescue mutt in my childhood. In my time I have enjoyed handling dogs with different personalities. I will provide your dog a safe haven by bringing them rest, play, and good long walks. I live at home with my parents; and we spend most of our time at home...so your dog will have access to nearly round-the-clock loving attention. Rain or shine or wind or calm I will be with your dog. I have a friendly poodle-fox-terrier mix that will love playing with your pooch. I will walk and play with your dog outside in our pet-friendly neighborhood.

About: Growing up, we always had pets, mostly dogs (large and small breeds), but the occasional cat as well! I love all animals as if they were my own! I currently have 2 cats. Both cats are spayed females (mother and daughter). They are unexpected pets, but we love them and couldn’t see ourselves without them! The mom cat (Kitty) was a feral pregnant cat who we took in and cared for and after 2 litters we were able to get her spayed (she is a mostly outside cat) and we kept one from her little and had her spayed as well although she is indoor only. I adopted a German shepherd pup in 2009, named Roxy, and she was the best! She has since past, but she was absolutely great with my children and very easily trained! In 2015 I adopted a chocolate lab, named Tommy, and he was wonderful as well and got along great with my shepherd! Of course he was a chewer and chewed anything and everything he could! I am a stay at home mom so my schedule pretty flexible. My schools age kids currently end school at 330-4pm and begin at 9am so I’d say I’m available between 9:30-2:30pm or after 4pm on Mondays and Fridays. My kids love animals as well! I do not have a fenced in yard, so would walk your pet on a leash, but they would have free range in my home if it was an overnight stay. In a clients home I would be sure to follow whatever the pet care request is.

“We were nervous about using Rover and leaving our puppy with a stranger but Alexis put us at ease from our first contact. Tanner had a great day playing with Milo and has slept all evening. We'll definitely be requesting Alexis for future needs!!”

Diane J.
“Diane loves animals. Even animals which are not ours will come to her first. Our grown children have pets. They all run to “grandma” when they see her coming. She plays with them and talks to them. We have babysat cats and dogs of nieces, nephews, and other family members. Prior to our marriage, Diane had a cat and a dog. The dog had passed away prior to our marriage. She treated both pets as family members. You could see the love she had for Snuggles (the cat). The name fit the relationship. We went to the Humane League and adopted a dog named Tasha. Tasha fit right in with our family. Tasha was a sick dog when we adopted her. The vet said do not get too attached because she isn’t going to make it. Well, Diane nursed her 24 hours a day and gave the medicine the vet provided. We took her back to the vet and he could not believe how healthy Tasha was. He said it was a miracle. After both pets passed, we received a phone call from our daughter. At her work the found two young kittens in a dumpster. She knew who to call. Diane took them in and made them part of our family. Iddy and Buddy provided us a lot of love. When moved to Hawaii they went with us. They loved the eight years in Hawaii as much as we did. We came back to Pennsylvania 6 years ago. Unfortunately Iddy passed 2 years ago and Buddy passed last year. She cared for them until it was time to let them pass. Diane had one lady who would hire Diane to take care of her 2 dogs and an outside cat who lived in a barn. She had to put out food for the barn cat and make sure it was back in the barn at night. The dogs were outside on a leash for part of the day. She fed them twice a day inside and had to give the one dog medicine in the morning. As you have read, Diane is an animal lover. She should have been a veterinarian. We have been without a pet. Now that we have the time to travel, since we retired, she would like to provide her love to other family’s pets. Diane is the perfect person for a family looking to take care of their pet(s). They will not find a better person to love or care for their pet(s).”

West Lancaster dog parents share their Rover experiences
We were so pleased with the results of Pockets stay with Angelita. He was not running out of the yard to leave and I fact, was very pokey about leaving. This is always a god thing with him. Pockets spent 2 days at Angelita’s for day care and spent nights with us while we were in Lancaster, PA. We will definitely call her again when in that area and in need of a pet sitter.

Alabama was great throughout the process. It looks like Cinnamon had a fun day with her and the dogs. Drop off and pickup were smooth and I greatly appreciated her flexibility in the pick up times. Highly recommend!

If you're looking for a dog-sitting superstar, look no further than Mai! We had a last-minute change of plans for our Lancaster, PA getaway, and luckily, Mai swooped in like a superhero to save the day, welcoming our trio of furry tornadoes with open arms. Our little Chihuahua mix, a bit of a diva, takes his sweet time to warm up to new faces, but Mai was as patient as a saint, giving him the gentle treatment. Meanwhile, our pups had an absolute blast frolicking in the outdoor space like they were in puppy paradise. The best part? Mai kept us in the loop with a delightful stream of pics, videos, and updates that made us feel like proud dog parents. If you're in Lancaster and need a dog-sitter, we wholeheartedly recommend Mai—truly the dog-sitting superstar! We can’t wait to book again for our next adventure! 🐾✨

Keira was fantastic with my dog Tiny! She was patient, understanding, and clearly loves dogs. Tiny, who can be anxious, seemed very comfortable and happy in her care. I appreciated the updates and photos she sent. I would definitely recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and caring dog sitter & will certainly be booking again.
