About: I have had dogs of my own throughout my life and love to watch the neighborhood pups! I have watched a few different type of animals including cats and birds. I am a big animal lover and I do my best to make sure they are happy while their owners are not around. I’m currently a nursing and biology student at Charleston Southern university. I am around in Narragansett for the full summer if you need a last minute sitter or vacation sitter! I return to South Carolina full time August 15th. All meal times are as specified to your pets needs, I try to give them about 3-4 hours of time to play or walk them outside a day (spread between meal times/before bed). I can also make accommodations for any pets with disabilities!

About: Hello! My preferred names to go by is Max as you might see in my testimonials! I volunteered at an animal sanctuary that had chickens, geese, swans, goats, horses, & alpacas. I have experience in dog sitting & grooming every kind of breed. I took care of ferrets as well! Cute little guys running through tubes. I have a ton of experience cat sitting as well. I even briefly worked at a cat cafe! I also have 2 of my own. Litter boxes don’t scare me! I would never force any kind interactions based off of any of the animals behaviors, unless if they would want that! I’m all about approaching with love, patience, & playfulness! I currently have open availability. I don’t have proper space to board your animals at my house but I don’t mind traveling to yours at all. It all depends on the pet, but I would approach first with a hand sniff & see if they are okay with me petting them. I also think it’s a really great idea to do a practice trial run with the owner there at first so they can meet me & warm up to me!

Using the detailed information you provide, I will follow your dog’s established schedule for meals, water, and overall care. About: I’ve been working professionally with animals since 2018, starting with pet sitting and dog walking. Over the years, I discovered a deep passion for understanding canine behavior, which led me to pursue a formal education in dog training. In 2024, I became a certified professional dog trainer and founded my business, Adventure Dog RI, which specializes in adventure hikes and training for dogs. I share my life with a variety of animals—including dogs, cats, chickens, a horse, and a lizard—and bring that same level of care and dedication to every pet I work with. I’m committed to using humane, science-backed training methods and continuously pursue education to ensure the care I provide is always ethical, effective, and rooted in respect for each animal’s individual needs I work part-time as a supervisor at a local pet store, in addition to running my own business, Adventure Dog RI. My day revolves around my personal and client dogs, whether it is feeding time, walks, hikes, or training sessions — I am here for you and your dog! My methodology is deeply rooted in the belief that all animals deserve compassion and agency. With that being said, I never use corrections, punishment, or intimidation with any animals I work with, big or small. When out on hikes, I am always equipped with a doggy first aid kit, bug spray, travel bowls, water, blaze-orange (when required), and well fitted/reliable equipment such as collars, wildlife bells, longlines, and harnesses. When traveling in the car, dogs are always restrained with seatbelts or ride in the safety of a crate. Safety is the #1 priority at Adventure Dog RI!

I will have another job but I’ll be able to pick up to pet sit whenever I’m available. I’ll be able to do this multiple times a week and help out whenever I can! I can keep them company and make sure they are behaving while also playing with them. I won’t let them chew on furniture but will play with toys with them.
