About: I have always loved animals and have taken care of one kind of animal or another for as long as I can remember. As a teen I volunteered at animal shelters, then as adult I became a foster for the Humane Society in Jacksonville Florida for years before moving to Birmingham last year. I miss having the opportunity to care for a variety of animals and getting to know them if only for a short while. I've taken care of very tiny newborns, sick, old, special needs and of course healthy animals. It would be my pleasure to welcome your fur babies with open arms into my home or yours. They will be treated like my own. If you are in the process of training, I will pick up where you left off with potty, leash training, etc. I can give baths and brushes if needed. I am a independent contractor and I make my own schedule. My work is very pet friendly so at the discretion of the parents, if they enjoy car rides, they can can either come with or I will stay home with them during their stay. I am very flexible. Whether my home or yours, I will follow your instructions / schedule down to the last detail. I have a big front yard to and it on a two acres of land I have 2 friendly dogs and they love to run and have fun we have play time game time and I take them to the dog park that they just love to play in .

About: I’ve taken care of animals for around 3 years now. 2 years being with family and friends relying on me to watch, feed, and walk their animals. I have worked in an animal hospital around a year now! I am currently working full time, so I will have open availability as of right now, and plenty of time to spend with your fur babies! I have a big yard and a room in my house just for pups! In the room there is different size crates, bowls, and many toys! I can easily crate your dog in the room or outside.

About: I would love to walk/ hike with your pet, care for it at your home, or drop in to let them out. I have always loved animals ever since I was little. My first job was a pet sitting service, I was frequently asked to watch neighbors dogs, cats, bunnies, fish, etc. My friends often rely on me to take care of their animals while out of town and I have experience with older dogs as well as puppies. My dog passed away earlier this year and I won't be ready for anther dog anytime soon, but I would love to share love with your animals. I work seasonally and am currently off for my winter season. I would love to spend time with your animals either at your home or on walks/hikes! I can not watch pets in my own home but in my client's home I make sure to follow their rules and ask the important questions up front. I make sure to not leave pets alone too long and to be there for feeding times and to keep them company at night.

About: I'm a animal lover. Everyone seems to think I'm in the wrong profession. I been pet sitting for years for free for friends and family and I decided to apply to Rover to get paid for something I enjoy doing. I only work 3 days a week and every 3rd weekend. About: As someone who has had pets in the home for as long as I can remember, I know it is important for them to be in a loving, patient, and attentive environment and I thrive in providing environments that are such! Although I’m currently a full time college student, the fact that I am a commuter allows me to be home more often than others! Caring for pets will easily fit into my routine! I have a large fenced in backyard and only two cats inside the home. I make sure that the pets that I care for have enough space of their own but are also attended to closely.

About: I’ve been caring for dogs most of my life, ever since I was first introduced to them at nine years old. I’ve spent the most time with American and European bloodline Great Danes — a breed I absolutely adore, though I love all dogs deeply. In 2022, I worked for a professional dog care business, where I was responsible for four European Great Danes daily — all in the same home. I walked each dog three times a day, fed them individually twice a day, and made sure they had plenty of playtime and enrichment outside of their crates. I also assisted with the birth of a litter of puppies, helping weigh them, check their temperatures, and feed them a blended diet as they grew. If allowed, I also work on basic training using treats. I make sure your pup gets plenty of playtime, cuddles, and affection throughout the day. I usually let dogs roam freely, but at bedtime they’ll sleep in my room so I can keep a close, loving eye on them through the night. 🐾

About: I’m a military brat from Germany and Japan, therefore I’ve seen it all! I grew up with labs and bull terriers (yes, the target dog) and miss all the puppy lovin’!! About: I’ve had dogs since I was a kid, but I’ve been actively caring for my pup since I was 17. From going on walks to playing in the living room or just cuddling and watching TV, I can assure you I’m definitely someone who will care for your pet with their best interest at heart! I’m currently a physical therapy student out on winter break, so I have a lot of time on my hands! I do like to have my weekends free to spend time with my own pets, however. I have a fenced in area of my yard that your dog would be able to use the bathroom in, however, I can also take your dogs on walks if they prefer it! I have two sweet dogs, though one is a little older so I would most likely keep them separate. I also have one younger dog that is very high energy and would love a play mate!
