“Ellis helped us out in a pinch when we were in the middle of changing jobs! Our new puppy loved him and we trusted him from the start. He's a great guy, good with dogs, and I highly recommend his service!”

About: My mother is a veterinarian with her own practice, so I grew up around an abundance of animals and know plenty about caring for them. My career allows me to choose my own schedule, I don't usually have shifts longer than 5/6 hours long. This allows me to take dogs out for walks or to a dog park, or I can just go home and hang out with my cat. I have a large fenced in yard with access to woods, plenty of local trails for dog walks, local lake of your dog likes to swim. Dogs and cats in my home, but there's a good sized guest bedroom that is kept closed of from the rest of my home if you have a pet that is less friendly with others.

“Kathryn took care of our rather antisocial and uncooperative cat during our vacation, coming twice a day to medicate her. It was not easy, but Kathryn was great about communicating with us and she creatively problem-solved to get the job done. We were super impressed with her reliability, patience and kindness. Highly recommended!! We are very grateful to her.”

“Armani was great with my cats, who clearly adored her. That's saying a lot, since one of them has fear of new people. The house was immaculate and the litter boxes cleaned out. I also received great pictures and updates. Thanks Armani!”

About: I’ve grown up caring for animals my whole life. I raised my own dog from puppy to 15 year old senior citizen and have been taking care of my friend’s and family’s dogs and cats for years. Whether your pup needs a brisk walk or a trail run, or your cat needs company while you’re away, I bring the same care and attentiveness to pet care that I bring to the hospital. I understand how important your pets are to your family, and I’m here to treat them like my own. I have experience with dogs and cats of all sizes, temperaments, and medical needs. I’m comfortable administering oral medications, following special diets, and maintaining a calm presence with shy or anxious pets. I currently have a flexible academic schedule and I work hard to fit in pet care throughout the day. I am almost always available first thing in the morning and in the afternoons/evenings and my mid-day availability varies by academic term From walks to house-sits, I follow the simple tenants of 1)“treat every animal as if they were my own” and 2) “treat everyone’s homes with the utmost respect”. Pet owners know best what their animals need so my top goal is providing whatever care that may be, safely, and in the environment that best suits each pet and owner.

About: I’ve taken care of and lived with dogs and cats my entire life. I am an agriculture student and former horseback rider with experience caring for animals including chickens, goats, horses, cows and more. I am currently a full time student, but my remote coursework allows me ample flexibility to care for animals multiple times throughout any given day. Unfortunately my apartment complex does not allow me to bring animals to my apartment. However, I am willing to travel to a clients home to care for their animals. I treat every client, their pets and their home with the utmost respect and care.

About: I grew up on a farm and have taken care of a variety of animals. I worked in veterinary medicine for 8 years and spent two years in high school working for a dog and cat boarding facility. Currently a medical student, I have a lot of flexibility. I’m able to complete morning, midday, and/or evening walks. I am often available on weekends. I have a fenced in porch and can take dogs out on leash. I live close by to the rail trail and in a very walkable neighborhood. I can administer topical, oral, and subcutaneous medications.

About: I’ve been dog sitting for over five years, caring for everything from tiny puppies to large breeds and seniors. As a lifelong pet owner of both dogs and cats, I understand each animal’s unique needs, whether it’s high-energy playtime in the park or calm cuddle sessions at home. I’m comfortable managing excitable pups and ensuring they get the exercise, socialization, and affection they crave. With me, your family members will get reliable, experienced care every time. As a graduate student, I have a very flexible work schedule that allows me to dedicate plenty of time to caring for your pets. I’m available for boarding on weekends and most weekdays after noon. Whether it’s playtime, walks, or cuddles, I can make sure your pet gets the attention they need throughout the day. I have a cozy home with a calm cat who enjoys lounging on her own couch with blankets and a scratching post nearby. I’m very gentle, patient, and attentive to each pet’s unique needs and comfort level. I can easily crate your dog if needed and always prioritize a safe, calm, and loving environment.

“Olivia was great with my cats while I was out of town for the week. I came home to a clean house and she even washed their bowls so I didn’t have to worry about it upon returning home. Even my shy cat came out to see her and she spent time playing with them. I knew they were in good hands and they always seemed happy to see her. Would definitely book again!”

About: Hi! I’m Jill and am very experienced with doggos! I work full time in dog rescue and am looking to take on rover clients to help support that work. I have experience with all ages/sizes/breeds/temperaments! I am certified in Animal Behavior Management and love catering your pet’s activity and enrichment to their personality. Before working in dog rescue, I was a wildlife biologist for 10 years and still very much enjoy spending time outdoors and hiking - especially with dogs! Before that, I worked at a doggy day care and veterinary clinic. Animals have always been a central part of my life and I take the responsibility of their care very seriously! I work in animal rescue which allows me a somewhat flexible schedule. If I have a pet booking, your animal’s needs will be my first priority! I care for pets in the way they would like to be cared for. I love getting to know an animal and catering my services to them.

About: Active on rover a couple of years during medical school, now looking to supplement my free attending time with furry friends to explore the upper valley! I love to hike and ski, always happy to take your pet on a fun adventure! I do shift work usually, so my schedule might not be very consistent, but I’m happy to work with you on it, just let me know! I’ve had plenty of time dog sitting, working at rover for a few years in Portland Maine and taking care of my husband’s family dog for weeks on end. Since my condo is rather small, I prefer petting sitting at their home. I like to keep their routine schedule, so would prefer clear instructions on the pet’s day to day.

“Katherine was great! Checked on my cats, provided cute photos daily and asked for clarification on anything she needed. I trusted they were being taken care of while I was away!”

“Julia took great care of our cat. He develops urinary crystals from anxiety when he is left alone so it was important to have someone so caring be with him. Would highly recommend.”

“Lydia is wonderful! My golden retriever was very happy during his stay, with lots of exercise and play. She sent me daily updates, and I could rest easy during my vacation knowing he was well cared for. Lydia also took care of my cats while I was away - a bonus! I highly recommend her for taking care of our furry friends!”

About: I have taken care of cats and dogs for as long as I can remember. Looking to get my own, but in the meantime, would be excited to watch yours. I have plenty of toys and treats and I’m happy to do anything that makes you feel comfortable to keep your furry friend happy! I currently work at Dartmouth Hitchcock full-time which is why I typically can only watch during the weekend. My flexibility means I can also sometimes work remote. Depending on your preference, I’m sure we can work out something great. I am happy to do anything that makes you feel comfortable. I love to go for a walk, so I’m happy to take them down to the small park that we have. Or if they’re not much of a walker, I’m happy to sit and relax as long as they know how to pick a TV show.

“Allaire took great care of our 3 cats when we were away. She even took our oldest cat for a walk (he loves to go out on the leash) which was above and beyond. The 3 cats were happy when we got home which is always such a relief. Thanks Allaire!”

“Liz is an exceptional pet sitter. She’s wonderful with both dogs and cats. She's patient, attentive, and caring. My cat is shy but Liz took the time to build trust, and now they’re best buds. She even taught him a few tricks, which I didn’t think was possible! My high energy dog can be a handful, but Liz handles him easily, you can tell she has tons of experience and really loves what she does. She’s also incredibly dependable. She responds to requests quickly (usually within minutes!) and has never canceled on me, even when my schedule has changed last minute. She’s always understanding, flexible, and easy to work with. She also worked in a vet office for several years, so I know that she'll know where to turn with emergencies!”
