About: I have loved taking care of dogs my entire life. I am lucky enough to be able to help with my five grand dogs. All very different ages and personalities. I’m currently semi retired and looking forward to doing something that I love. Dogs have always been a part of my life and even when we had five little kids in the house, I knew we still needed a dog to add more love and craziness. Now those kids have dogs and I really enjoy being a big part of their life and care. Best “non paying” job ever. I'd welcome the opportunity to help with you with your pups and make new friends. I have found plenty of great short and long hiking spots in the area that are perfect for getting your pups' energy out for longer stays or higher-energy breeds.

About: My mother owns 4 dogs and I had to constantly care for them while she was away at work. I will do anything for your dog that needs to be done. I love dogs and will consider them like family no matter what happens I feel for every animal that I come across because I do not want them to be in any pain or without things that they need on a daily basis. I hope that you and your dogs will be satisfied with the care that your dogs get each and every day. I never do anything without the owners consent because it is not my place to make the call as were on what the dogs truly need. I’ve previously worked at a dog daycare for a couple years and learned dog body language administering some medications and giving baths. I can help with feeding, providing exercise, bathing, administering medication, and ensuring that your animal with be safe and comfortable. I currently work part time and have flexibility with my current job that allows me to help care for your pet!! I am very flexible with days and times I will be needed to care for your pet. I have a big back yard for your dog to get it’s daily exercise I have three other dogs in my home to keep yours company!!

About: I’m Jess and I’m a full time programmer looking to spend time with dogs! I have had dogs all my life including small and large (150lbs!!) I currently own 2 golden retrievers who are cared for while I’m away. Since I work fully remote and am very flexible, I decided I want to provide dogs or cats care. If there are specifics to your pet, I promise to follow them to the T. Dogs truly are a mans best friend and I want to keep them in my company! I work full time and I can care for dogs in the morning and evening. I can do an occasional walk during my lunch. I also work from home and there is some flexibility around when I can do that. I love building connections with dogs. I know that it is probably super scary for them to have a stranger come into their home. I do not push dogs past their comfort zones. I let them warm up to me on their own schedule.

About: Animal Handling Experience - I have been caring for animals as a career consistently for the last 3 years. I have been working as a Veterinary Assistant for the last year at a reputable animal hospital and have truly found my calling in life. I feel that my experience in the veterinary field provides both pet owners and myself peace of mind when your animals are under my supervision. I know what little symptoms are concerning and important to note that others may miss. I make sure to track bathroom habits and meals. I am confident managing and giving medications to your pets while you are away. Dog Walking - Extensive experience walking and caring for multiple dogs at one time. I am very popular within my neighborhood and my family to care for dogs when people don't have time, and I am always punctual. I like the walks to be enjoyable for the dogs, not just a task that the walker has to complete. Overnight Stays - During overnight stays I also offer to bring in mail, packages, and water plants. When I care for an animal I make sure they receive special attention that goes beyond food and water. I play with them and provide enrichment, walks, and exercise. This includes visits as frequently as requested and caring for all the animals' special needs. Fish, Reptiles, Rodents, and Birds- I enjoy spending time with all animals, so if there are any other critters in the home I would love to help take care of them as well. I currently have a lively aquarium and have previously kept birds and reptiles so I am comfortable looking after our fur-less friends. I currently work four days a week and my shifts are approximately from 8am-6pm. I get a full hour for my lunch breaks so I am available for drop in visits and walks mid-day if the residence is within 15 minutes of the hospital I work at. I typically work Monday, Tuesday, Wednesday, and Friday. I get my schedule almost a month in advance so I am able to commit confidently to future events. I care for your pets however you need. I understand that some animals have truly interesting quirks and I'm ready to do whatever your fur baby needs. Do we need to sing a specific song to go into our crate? Do we have a 15 step dinner routine? I am here for it all, and I'll be talking to your pet throughout every step.

While I love animals, I realized that massive, chaotic pack environments aren't the best fit for my philosophy of care—or for many dogs. I transitioned to independent pet sitting so I could give individual animals the quiet, focused, and low-stress attention they truly deserve. Because of my professional background, I am highly trained in dog body language, safety protocols, and keeping pets calm and happy. Your dog will never have to compete for attention or feel overwhelmed here! I have pretty open availability. I work from home with a loose schedule. I am always available after 2pm and free all day Fri - Sun. I have a Golden Retriever myself. I grew up with cats and had a small but successful dog-walking and pet-sitting business in my neighborhood growing up. I am more than happy to treat your pet as if they were my own <3 I currently work full time in Lake George and I'm looking for some additional income, and what better way to do that than to care for your pets! To make sure your pet feels as comfortable as possible while you are away, I would love to learn their typical routine at home and their interests!

About: My family got our first dog when I was five (a Dalmatian, Domino) and I’ve loved animals since. I’ve owned and cared for a number of different breeds of dogs and cats and though I don’t have any pets of my own right now, I feel happiest when I can share my time with animals I work from home so I have a very flexible schedule. I can easily drop in midday for a walk while you’re at work or spend large chunks of time with your pets during a stay! Unfortunately I cannot host pets in my home at this time. In your house, I’ll follow your instructions for pet care as closely as possible to ensure they feel comfortable and have minimal change in routine.
