About: I have had pets all of my life, and I have helped take care of them from puppies to seniors. I have applied that knowledge into my professional work as well. I can feed and bathe pets, walk, and administer pills. I have previously worked with dogs, cats, birds, and bunnies. I am also close to several animal shelters and help socialize, walk, help with adoptions, and foster when needed. I am currently working as a contract worker, so I have free time and flexibility to take care of your fur babies! I take care of my own personal kitty cat, but other than that I am completely free to take care of your fur kids. When caring for animals at a client's home, I make sure to find out any and all safety features or precautions needed for their pets. I try to make sure the pets stay on their schedule, including any routines they may have such as walking a certain path, going out a specific door, etc.

About: I work in a rescue clinic twice a week where I have developed skills like administering medication, working with a variety of animals, working with all ages from newborns to seniors, and enjoy working with animals of all sizes! I am not available on Tuesdays since that is the day I work in a rescue vet clinic. Every day I care for my personal pets, and would love to add your fur babies to my days. At this time, I'm not available to care for your pets in my home but I would be happy to recommend facilities that can care for your pets.

Catecha really stepped in for us while in a bind due to last minute work trips and my overnight work schedule. Diesel loves walks, so I know he was excited for a morning one. Thanks again!

About: Greetings, I am Obadina and I am a graduate of AK9i as a patrol Detection K9 handler and trainer. I went to Tennessee State for Animal Science Pre Veterinary Medicine where I learned animal husbandry. I used that experience to go on to be a vet tech as well as a pet bather and trainer. I am current K9 detection dog handler and trainer. I have experience with high drive dogs as well as nervous dogs and puppies. I can work with any and every dog, from fearful to aggressive. I also offer DeShed nail care and bathing services. DeShed services is when I remove the shedding undercoat that comes out usually during the change of seasons. It prevents mats and painful tangles which not only can relive pain and odor, but also keeps them cool during the warm summer months. It’s a very good alternative to shaving, which actually makes them hotter because their fur keeps the sun off of them . Animal Husbandry is my profession as a K9 handler. Your dogs will be treated like assets they are. It’s an hourly routine as animals respond to predictability which lowers stress levels which leads to better boarding experiences. Your asset will be housed in a climate controlled dry lockable indoor kennel run facility with a fenced in secured play area that’s easy to clean and plenty of storage for your pets supplies.

About: I love being active and outdoors, dogs always have a special place in my heart. I am currently a veterinarian assistant and have been working with animals for over 7 years through the military. I have been trained on: first aid, grooming, hygiene, and care for all animals. Working with dogs of all sizes helps me better my skills so I can someday be a vetanarian and open my own hospital. I strongly believe that dogs are men best friend and should be treated with the best care and love. Running around with young and energetic dogs or walking and relaxing with older and relaxed dogs I love them both. And I look forward to having this great opertonity and experience with your dog. I work relief for a vet hospital but my availability is very flexible. I am able to take your pet out twice a day if needed. I have a fenced in back yard and a nice neighborhood where we are able to run and walk with our dogs. So there is plenty of space to play and relax.

About: Animals are my life! I have always had pets growing up as a child and my love for them has grown into my adulthood even more. I have a passion for learning and understanding all different types of animals. My experience in Pet Care is from having my own pets and caring for family, friends and working for dog kennels over the years. My dream overall is to own a kennel and continue to care for animals like I've been doing from puppies to senior care which includes giving medication and following a strict feeding schedule , so this would be more of a learning experience for me regarding the business aspect because caring for animals just comes naturally to me. I would love to have a opportunity like this to do what I love everyday and make a income out of it but more importantly expand my knowledge and have my own schedule to work around and have that flexibility. I’m currently only working part-time so I’ll be with your pups the majority of the time also my wife is work from home and she loves the pups as well so they will never be home alone . They will have constant care and belly rubs. I have a unfenced yard and one dog to keep your fur baby entertained I’ll also provide anything needed for your dog on a day to day basis

About: What sets me apart is the personalized care and attention I give to every dog. I understand that each pup has unique needs, whether it’s the playful energy of a puppy learning new routines, or the gentle patience required for senior dogs who may need extra support. Pet care fits naturally into my routine because I’m used to providing care, structure, and attention as part of my daily life. As a new graduate LPN, I’ve built strong skills in time management, responsibility, and caregiving, all of which carry over to caring for pets. When caring for pets in a client’s home, I focus on keeping their routine as familiar and stress-free as possible. I follow all instructions closely—feeding schedules, potty breaks, walks, playtime, and any medications, so pets feel comfortable and secure in their own space.

About: Hello! I am Andrea, I am currently working right now but will always try my best to watch your fur baby (please go to my schedule about this). I have taken care of dogs it feels like my whole life. I used to work at a Kennel (Gold Leaf Pet Resort/Breeding (Pekay Goldens) which is also the place I got my baby Janet from. I am very familiar with senior dogs I used to own a dog who needs insulin shots every day and a dog that owned a wheelchair so I am 100% okay with your older babies. Since I did work in dog breeding I am very familiar with puppies and some training tips that I have learned from working with them. I used to watch some of my neighbor's dogs when they went out of town even if it was some check-in visits or having them in my home. I love all the fur babies and I hope that you allow me to watch yours! (First-time customers/users of the app ask about a promo code for $20 off the booking/visit on the app) I’m free 24/7 for your fur babies. I am currently working from home! Please let me know if you have any questions so I can work with you:))) For boarding, I spend a lot of time with your dog so I can get to know them and make them feel comfortable, such as playing with them and going out into my backyard and getting some exercise in for them. For walking, I take your dog to the high school located less than 5 minutes from my house, or for a nature walk to the park located less than 10 minutes from my house.

About: My world is not full enough without the love of dogs. I’ve had 4 lb-90 lb dogs for as long as I can remember. I can’t seem to ever have just one dog at a time…I bathe and groom all of my dogs. I make my dog’s food also:) The happiness a dog gives me is unmeasurable. I’m a retired teacher-my schedule works around my pups at this time in my life. I love walking and playing fetch daily with my pups. My fenced in back yard is the best…pups love it. I have a fenced in backyard. Pup walks are essential-as we all need exercise. I enjoy lounging on the floor with pups as well. Safety is important-all things small and enticing are not available to the dogs. I have lots of balls/squeaky toys for them as well.

About: I’ve been caring for family and friends’ pets for more than 15 years. I’ve opened my home and heart to animals when their fur parents are traveling or just in need of some extra help and care. I’ve been a fur parent to an amazing cat for 13 years and when I was younger my parents constantly caught me playing with our family’s dog instead of doing homework. My attention to care, details, and love for animals is a wonderful combination. I’m available for daily drop-in visits or cat sitting. For the weekend, I have more flexibility and can spend longer hours sitting and visiting with your pets. My cat has space in my home to run up and down the stairs and sunbathe on the poufs near the windows. In clients homes, I focus my attention to the fur babies by feeding/watering and cleaning out litter boxes based on instructions left. I bring a few extra toys that cats/dogs may like to play with while I’m sitting/dropping in. If clients ask for medication to be administered or bathing fur babies, I’m available to do that as well.

Morgan is by far the best dog walker I have gotten on this app. She is very good with my boys. She met with me beforehand to see if she was compatible with the dogs. Before she left, she handed me a sock so that the dogs can get familiar with her scent. I thought that was so thoughtful. She is very gentle with them and she can follow the directions needed to keep the dog safe. She even bring in Amazon packages if she sees them on the porch. I asked her if she would be flexible to picking up more days just in case I have to work late, and she was all for it. Overall, she’s just a thoughtful kind and caring person and I’m glad I chose her to walk my dogs.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
