It’s a very good alternative to shaving, which actually makes them hotter because their fur keeps the sun off of them . Animal Husbandry is my profession as a K9 handler. I will keep your potty training schedules (pads or outside) and can refresh some basics and socialization if needed. I do not offer professional grooming, but can do nails and bathe for an additional charge. My home is super pet friendly, safe and comfortable and pets are with me 24/7 (not in kennels, closed rooms, and never never left in the yard alone). I will pen or crate in full view only if needed due to persistent destructive chewing, aggression, sleeping or potty training issues, but prefer your dog be as free as if they were home with you and I will let you know if this is necessary. All dogs must be over 1 year old and under 20 lbs. Male dogs must be neutered. I can sometimes accommodate unspayed females and, with special circumstances and agreements, females in heat. About: I love being active and outdoors, dogs always have a special place in my heart. I am currently a veterinarian assistant and have been working with animals for over 7 years through the military. I have been trained on: first aid, grooming, hygiene, and care for all animals. I love walking and playing fetch daily with my pups. My fenced in back yard is the best…pups love it. I have a fenced in backyard. Pup walks are essential-as we all need exercise. I enjoy lounging on the floor with pups as well. Safety is important-all things small and enticing are not available to the dogs. I have lots of balls/squeaky toys for them as well.
About: I’ve been caring for family and friends’ pets for more than 15 years. I’ve opened my home and heart to animals when their fur parents are traveling or just in need of some extra help and care. I’ve been a fur parent to an amazing cat for 13 years and when I was younger my parents constantly caught me playing with our family’s dog instead of doing homework. My attention to care, details, and love for animals is a wonderful combination. I’m available for daily drop-in visits or cat sitting. For the weekend, I have more flexibility and can spend longer hours sitting and visiting with your pets. My cat has space in my home to run up and down the stairs and sunbathe on the poufs near the windows. In clients homes, I focus my attention to the fur babies by feeding/watering and cleaning out litter boxes based on instructions left. I bring a few extra toys that cats/dogs may like to play with while I’m sitting/dropping in. If clients ask for medication to be administered or bathing fur babies, I’m available to do that as well.
