About: Hi! My name is Madison, and I’m an experienced and dependable pet lover with a lifelong passion for caring for animals. I currently have one cat of my own, but I grew up with both big and small dogs, as well as indoor and outdoor cats—so I’m very comfortable around pets of all shapes, sizes, and temperaments. While I now work as a server and bartender, I’ve always made time for animals. During college, I volunteered regularly at the local animal shelter, where I walked a wide variety of dogs. That experience taught me a lot about leash and harness handling, and gave me the skills to confidently care for dogs with different energy levels and personalities. Whether you’re looking for someone to walk your pup, check in on your cat, or just give your pets some extra love while you’re away, I’m here to help. I treat every animal like my own and take pride in providing safe, attentive, and reliable care. Looking forward to meeting you and your furry family! Currently I work part time, which does give me more time to help out with your babies! My only “guaranteed” times off are Tuesday afternoons and Sundays, which is when I could be available for recurring bookings. Otherwise, I get my schedule for the next week on Friday afternoons, which means I can book one-times about a week out. Every pet in my care is treated like family - with kindness, attention, and genuine love. Whether I’m on a walk or watching them at home, I follow their routines closely and make sure they feel safe, happy, and understood. I’m big on cuddles, playtime, and keeping their environment clean and calm. I pay attention to each pet’s personality and needs, always making sure they’re comfortable and cared for like they’re my own.

About: I grew up with 4 dogs - all different sizes and breeds. One of my dogs takes medicine twice daily for seizures. Because of this I have experience in giving dogs medicine if needed. One of my dogs is 16 so I also know how to take gentle care of senior dogs. I also have experience volunteering at the Animal Rescue League in Des Moines, Iowa. I love dogs very much and will do everything I can to make them feel happy and healthy. I’m currently working part time but I still have plenty of time throughout the week to help with your pets. I am available all day Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I am also available on Weekends. My schedule tends to change but I am very flexible and can make almost anything work! I currently live in an apartment right next to a dog park. Inside the apartment I have one cat that gets along with anyone! I can easily crate up your dog or cat inside as well. Within others home I will be very respectful and follow your guidelines to a T! I will also try to be there as much as I can depending on what you and your pet need!

About: I have been the go-to neighborhood dog sitter ever since I was in junior high. Now I live in Iowa City with my husband and field retriever, Oakley, and am ready to continue opening my home to your pets! I have experience with dogs of all sizes, ages, personalities, and energy levels. I work from home, so I am here all day for your pet. My typical routine with Oakley includes a lunch time walk and a post work hike at Hickory Hill. I’d love to bring your pup along for these adventures but can also cater to your pups individual needs/preferences and adjust as needed! We have a fenced in yard as well for the pups to run around in. I work full time from home, so I am able to attend to your dog throughout the day as needed. I typically play fetch or tug or something or the sort with my pup in the morning, take her for a walk ~1 mi walk over lunch, and for a 1-2 hour hike after work. I can adjust the level of activity as needed to match what you’re looking for! I have a fenced in yard (standard chain link so not suited for high jumpers) and an active pup for your dog to play with! I am comfortable crating your dog or leaving free roaming, whatever is your preference and your routine!

About: I started pet sitting when I was 11 years old. I cared for my neighbors dogs for many years along with many other neighborhood dogs. Recently, I went to a professional canine training school where I learned to train competition obedience, scent detection, tracking, agility, and many other things. Obviously, I have a passion for animals that has consumed me since I was a young child. I’m currently working full time but I generally have the weekends free so I’d be happy to check on your pet while you’re out enjoying life! I have a fenced in yard and a pet dog. I work full time and dual as a k9 trainer so I have experience as a dog handler and trainer-I care for all dogs like they are my own. I have very clear rules and boundaries with any dogs I care for. I’m not in the habit of making stupid decisions. Accidents happen in the absence of diligence and foresight.

About: I’ve loved dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. I’ve had both small and large dogs (all rescues!) and one cat, and caring for them has always brought me joy. I helped care for my senior dog through lymphoma, so I understand the extra attention aging pets need. I’ve also looked after neighbors’ pets, including hunting dogs, and I’ve volunteered at animal shelters. My experience includes walking, feeding, brushing, bathing, playing, and even just curling up to nap with animals. Friends, family, and neighbors have always trusted me with their pets. Now that I’m in college, I really miss that day-to-day interaction with their pure, loving souls. That’s why I’m so excited to connect with pets again through walking and sitting. It’s more than just side income—it’s something I truly love. I’m a senior at the University of Iowa with a flexible schedule and part-time research job. I’m available on weekends and early mornings, midday, and evenings during the week, so I have plenty of time to give your pets the care, attention, and love they deserve! When walking dogs, I always go at their pace—whether it’s a short stroll or a longer adventure—and adjust based on your pet’s comfort and the weather. For check-ins, I make sure your pet feels safe and cared for by spending quality time with them, not just doing the basics. I’ll follow your instructions closely, whether that’s feeding, playtime, meds, or just giving them some love and attention while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities.

About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs and cats for as long as I can remember, as well as a bunny. My friends and family members rely on me to take care of their animals and give them lots of love! I am experienced with any sized animal with any level of training!! I’m here to ensure your animal(s) is happy and healthy! I am available all weekend to hangout with your animal! I have two-three classes a day during the weekdays. However, they are spread out to where I can feed/relieve/walk a pet in between classes. I am early riser who normally wakes up around 6:30am and am happy to spend the whole morning playing with a furry friend! I have a very friendly cat, named Luna, who love to play with other animals. I have two big crates and a play pen for puppies. Feeding, playing, and cleaning up after animals is something I do on a daily basis! I regularly visit home to watch my bulldog and my brother’s lab!
