“Meredith was an incredibly responsible and caring pet sitter. She took great care of our cats, making sure they were well-fed and comfortable. She even went the extra mile by cleaning their bowls and taking out the trash. Although we booked 30-minute visits, she often stayed longer to spend extra time with our cats. Her communication was excellent—she responded quickly to messages and sent daily photo updates, which gave us great peace of mind. We highly recommend her to anyone looking for a reliable and thoughtful pet sitter!”

“So grateful Madison was willing and able to drop in and check on my cat on short notice. She was great sent photos and videos during the check in which I appreciated.”

“Gillian has watched my cats multiple times this year and I couldn’t recommend her enough. She’s always lets me know when she’s planning on being there and she takes the best pictures. All of my cats have medical issues and she’s always ready to get them their medicine when they need it. I used to be so anxious leaving my cats for any period of time but when they have Gillian all the anxiety has gone away, especially since I can tell she loves my boys as if they were her own.”

“Sarah was an awesome cat sitter! She takes great pictures and it looks like Cedar appreciated her being there while we were away. We will definitely be booking her again 😄”

About: I grew up with 4 dogs - all different sizes and breeds. One of my dogs takes medicine twice daily for seizures. Because of this I have experience in giving dogs medicine if needed. One of my dogs is 16 so I also know how to take gentle care of senior dogs. I also have experience volunteering at the Animal Rescue League in Des Moines, Iowa. I love dogs very much and will do everything I can to make them feel happy and healthy. I’m currently working part time but I still have plenty of time throughout the week to help with your pets. I am available all day Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday. I am also available on Weekends. My schedule tends to change but I am very flexible and can make almost anything work! I currently live in an apartment right next to a dog park. Inside the apartment I have one cat that gets along with anyone! I can easily crate up your dog or cat inside as well. Within others home I will be very respectful and follow your guidelines to a T! I will also try to be there as much as I can depending on what you and your pet need!

About: I’ve loved dogs and cats for as long as I can remember. I’ve had both small and large dogs (all rescues!) and one cat, and caring for them has always brought me joy. I helped care for my senior dog through lymphoma, so I understand the extra attention aging pets need. I’ve also looked after neighbors’ pets, including hunting dogs, and I’ve volunteered at animal shelters. My experience includes walking, feeding, brushing, bathing, playing, and even just curling up to nap with animals. Friends, family, and neighbors have always trusted me with their pets. Now that I’m in college, I really miss that day-to-day interaction with their pure, loving souls. That’s why I’m so excited to connect with pets again through walking and sitting. It’s more than just side income—it’s something I truly love. I’m a senior at the University of Iowa with a flexible schedule and part-time research job. I’m available on weekends and early mornings, midday, and evenings during the week, so I have plenty of time to give your pets the care, attention, and love they deserve! When walking dogs, I always go at their pace—whether it’s a short stroll or a longer adventure—and adjust based on your pet’s comfort and the weather. For check-ins, I make sure your pet feels safe and cared for by spending quality time with them, not just doing the basics. I’ll follow your instructions closely, whether that’s feeding, playtime, meds, or just giving them some love and attention while you’re away. Your pet’s safety, comfort, and happiness are always my top priorities.

About: I started pet sitting when I was 11 years old. I cared for my neighbors dogs for many years along with many other neighborhood dogs. Recently, I went to a professional canine training school where I learned to train competition obedience, scent detection, tracking, agility, and many other things. Obviously, I have a passion for animals that has consumed me since I was a young child. I’m currently working full time but I generally have the weekends free so I’d be happy to check on your pet while you’re out enjoying life! I have a fenced in yard and a pet dog. I work full time and dual as a k9 trainer so I have experience as a dog handler and trainer-I care for all dogs like they are my own. I have very clear rules and boundaries with any dogs I care for. I’m not in the habit of making stupid decisions. Accidents happen in the absence of diligence and foresight.

About: I’ve taken care of my own dogs and cats for as long as I can remember, as well as a bunny. My friends and family members rely on me to take care of their animals and give them lots of love! I am experienced with any sized animal with any level of training!! I’m here to ensure your animal(s) is happy and healthy! I am available all weekend to hangout with your animal! I have two-three classes a day during the weekdays. However, they are spread out to where I can feed/relieve/walk a pet in between classes. I am early riser who normally wakes up around 6:30am and am happy to spend the whole morning playing with a furry friend! I have a very friendly cat, named Luna, who love to play with other animals. I have two big crates and a play pen for puppies. Feeding, playing, and cleaning up after animals is something I do on a daily basis! I regularly visit home to watch my bulldog and my brother’s lab!

About: I bring almost three years of experience from working at a dog training, daycare, and boarding facility. During this time, I gained valuable insights into various dog behaviors and care techniques. Most importantly, it deepened my already strong bond and love for dogs! I’m currently a full-time college student at the University of Iowa with a structured class schedule and plenty of open weekends. My flexible routine allows me to provide pet care on weekends and during my shorter class days. I have three dogs at home, ranging from a Pug to two Great Danes, so I’m comfortable working with dogs of all sizes. Whether it’s one pup or a pack, I can handle it all! At home, our favorite activities include walking, playing, and plenty of cuddle time.

“I highly recommend Ella as a pet sitter. She has cared for my Chihuahua, Guerdy, multiple times, and I always feel completely at ease when I leave my dog with her. Ella is warm, attentive, and incredibly responsible. She intuitively understands dogs’ needs and makes sure they feel safe, loved, and entertained. Guerdy can be a little particular, but Ella has been patient, gentle, and consistent—earning her trust and affection in no time. She communicates clearly, follows routines well, and treats my home with the utmost respect. I truly appreciate the peace of mind I get when Guerdy is with Ella. If you’re looking for someone dependable, kind, and experienced with dogs, Ella is an excellent choice!”

Madison S.Star Sitter
“Madison is amazing! Not only is her heart in what she does caring for & training dogs, but her techniques bring results that her clients can easily duplicate. She received her training from Tom Rose School, known as the “Harvard of canine training”, and her accomplishments with her own dog, Reacher, clearly reflect her level of education. She takes time to explain her training style so clients grasp the psychology behind her methods. Madison has a connection of diverse resources in other dog-training colleagues so she stays updated on problem solving, as well as continued education for herself in her field.”

Emma R.

“Thanks for taking care our dogs”

Cecelia F.
“Cecelia is by far our best dog sitter. She treats our english bulldog like her own fur baby—spoiling him with attention, care, and plenty of playtime. While we’re away, we can enjoy our time because we know our pup is well cared for! He is overjoyed every time he sees Cecelia and hates to see her leave. Highly recommend Cecelia to anyone looking for a trustworthy and kind-hearted pet sitter.”

Ava G.
“Ava stayed with or 2 dogs over thanksgiving weekend allowing us to sneak away last minute. We have a new amputee in our house and as a crazy, helicopter dog mom, I was very nervous leaving our babies for the first time after surgery. Ava was so wonderful with them, sending photos regularly reassuring me that my babies were in good hands. She also left our home in great shape, possibly even better than how we left it. We are so grateful to have found such a responsible and loving caregiver for our fur babies.”

Elizabeth E.Star Sitter

“Elizabeth was communicative, attentive, and and great with our cats while we were away for the holidays! Thanks, Elizabeth!”

Kayla H.

“I couldn't have asked for a better pet sitter for my cat, Sophie. Kayla and her sweet daughter made Sophie feel right at home, and I appreciated all the updates and photos!”

“Thank you for taking such wonderful care of Elliot and Lenny! I really appreciate the photos and updates! Thank you for accommodating additional requests as well.”
