About: Hi! I have experience with both furry and non-furry friends; age groups ranging from puppies to our old senior pals. I’ve always found myself surrounded by animals & whether or not it was by choice, it was always a blast getting to learn and meet a new face. As a pet owner myself, I understand the possible struggles you may face caring for pet and I’m looking to alleviate some of that stress for you. I can guarantee you that your pet will have 100% of my patience and attention as I strive to never turn a blind eye. Your pets health and safety will always be at the top of my list. As for services, I can offer baths and nail trimming. Although for the safety reasons, I will have to refuse these services for any frantic and anxious pets. And if interested, I can teach your dog a few basic tricks like sit, paw, and lay down and possibly even jump! I am full-time student currently on break so I have more than enough time to tend to your pets. I am available all week long; Monday-Fridays and occasionally Saturday and Sundays. Care for each pet will look differently depending on requests and suggestions left by owners. Though, a lot of the time, this care will look like regular walks, playtime, and frequent updates! I have two dogs of my own, Eevee; a fairly small dog, and Harley, a pit-mix. While Eevee is rather skittish and tends to keep her distance from new comers, Harley is an older dog who tends to be a lot more curious but minds her business. Harley is STRICTLY an outside dog and only stays in the backyard. I am always open to questions and suggestions because your pets safety is my #1 priority.

“Melisa was, in a word, AMAZING. We scheduled drop-in visits with her to keep an eye on our cat Clementine and Melisa wrote detailed updates for us and sent us a ton of photos, which we loved. We had a pee-incident on the couch that Melisa took in stride (thank you so much, again) and she really went above and beyond, helping put enzymatic cleaner on our couch so that the cat urine didn't just sit for two weeks, popping our mail inside and also keeping an eye on my plants. Stellar sitter and is 100% our go-to person from now on. Thanks again, Melisa!”

“It was so easy working with Eyitemi. She followed check in instructions and kept me up to date with pictures. Would absolutely have her check in with my very anxious dog Nacho again”

About: I’ve taken care of dogs my whole life - both young and old. I also have experience working with both cat and dog rescues and fostering. Most of my experience is with sporting dogs and toy dogs, so my expertise runs the gamut! I currently have a 5lbs senior Maltese named Minnie who is with me when I pet sit. She mostly keeps to herself but gets along with all animals. I am currently available weekdays and some evenings per week - mostly Thursdays through Sunday. Please see schedule for specific info when booking your service. I will take care of your pet in my home as long as you need. I am good with puppies, senior dogs, giving medication, basic health care and also certified in pet first aid. At my house I have a lovely grassy yard and spacious backyard for the dogs to play in a comfortable environment for your pet. I am happy to give a tour of my home prior to your booking - so you can see inside and out.

About: I’m new to Rover, but I bring years of experience and a heart full of love for our furry friends. I’m a lifelong animal lover with a colorful heart and a calm, patient spirit. I share my home with five rescued cats, so I know firsthand the joy—and occasional chaos!—that comes with caring for animals of all kinds. I’ve worked with multiple dogs at once and have a special place in my heart for shy, reactive, or even aggressive pups. I take the time to build trust at their pace, always with gentleness and respect. I love getting down on the floor to connect, observe, and honor each animal’s unique personality. I’m also trained and confident in administering medications, including injections, and I always prioritize your pet’s comfort and safety. Whether it’s a sunny stroll or quiet bonding time, I bring attentiveness, empathy, and a whole lot of love to every visit. As an independent designer, I have a very flexible schedule, which allows me to dedicate quality time to pet care throughout the day. I love balancing my creative work with time spent walking, playing, or simply being present with furry friends—it’s the most rewarding part of my routine. This flexibility means I can easily adapt to different pet needs, last-minute bookings, or specific time requests. In my home, I have a safe and cozy “catil” (cat patio) where my five rescue cats can enjoy fresh air, sunshine, and freedom. They have access to come and go through secure doors whenever they like. When caring for pets in my client’s home, I always start by checking harnesses, leashes, and collars to ensure safety. I give each furry friend the time and space they need to feel comfortable with me, moving at their pace to build trust and connection. My approach is calm, respectful, and centered on their comfort.

About: I have a chowchow, a husky and a pug who have taught me how to maintain a schedule to keep us all happy and healthy. I have a lot of free time which allows me to go on as many walk as needed or take care of other dogs that need to be taken care of At my home, I have a large front and backyard which allows me to play with the pets for as long as they need and always putting the pets needs first is top priority

What sets me apart is my lifelong passion for animals and my commitment to treating your pets like my own, with kindness, reliability, and genuine care. Whether it's a playful pup or a gentle senior, I provide thoughtful, personalized attention to keep them happy and relaxed while you're away. As a freelance professional working from home, I have a flexible schedule that lets me provide attentive, consistent pet care throughout the day. Whether it’s a midday walk, medication, or extra cuddle time, I’m available to check in often and follow your pet’s routine closely. Because I’m home-based, your pet enjoys plenty of attention, companionship, and care, that is never rushed or overlooked. I genuinely love spending time with animals, and I’m dedicated to making sure your best friend feels happy, safe, and loved while you're away. Your pet’s comfort and safety are my top priorities. I'm happy to care for them wherever they feel most at ease, typically in the comfort of their own home environment. I believe familiar surroundings help reduce stress and keep routines consistent. About: I’ve had over two decades of experience raising and caring for pups of all ages, sizes, and temperaments. I’m currently the proud owner of a 1-year-old chocolate lab named Pepper, who I’ve raised since she was just 8 weeks old. Pepper is full of energy and has her fair share of medicinal needs, so I’m well-versed in administering medications and managing high-energy dogs with structure and patience. I’ve cared for everything from senior dogs to puppies, including those with behavioral quirks like aggression or overexcitement. Whether your dog prefers solo time or loves a playmate, I can tailor the experience to meet their needs (Pepper can stay home if a one-on-one environment is preferred). I’m reliable, responsive, and happy to keep you updated with photos and messages as often as you'd like. I’m currently self-employed, which allows me the flexibility to adjust my schedule around your pet’s needs—whether that’s early morning walks, midday check-ins, or extended overnight stays. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or in a client’s home, I prioritize creating a safe, calm, and comfortable environment tailored to each dog’s specific needs. I have one dog at home, a playful and well-trained chocolate lab, so I always consider whether your dog would thrive better with a companion or in a solo setting. I’m highly attentive to routines, energy levels, and any special requirements like feeding schedules, medications, or crate training. In a client’s home, I follow your instructions closely to maintain consistency and make sure your dog feels secure while you’re away. My goal is always to provide the same love, structure, and attention you would.

One thing I probably have in common with your pets is I love to walk, run, and be outside!

“We could not have been happier with Melissa's care of our dog Apollo. He is 11 years old, and she was very attentive to his needs. He has some strict dietary needs, and Melissa was very conscious of those during our meet-and-greet a week before we departed. She was always on time for feedings and walks, and really made us feel comfortable that he was in good hands! She sent us pictures and gave updates to his demeanor and well-being. Over the years, you obviously get to know your dog, and when we returned from our trip it was quite apparent that he was very well taken care of during our absence. Thanks so much Melissa!”

She also made sure to send photos and updates, which was much appreciated! Will definitely book with her again for any drop-in or cat sitting needs

Jasmine was amazing! She took great care of our dogs during her drop-in visits—feeding them, walking them, and giving them plenty of love.
