About: Last year we said goodbye to our thirty pound poodle mix after 17 amazing years. Our kids, ages 15, 12, 9, and 5 have had a dog in the home all their lives and while we aren't ready to get a new dog just yet we would love to take care of yours! My husband Liam, always had dogs in his family’s house growing up. We have a spacious home and fenced back yard in a quiet Hawthorne neighborhood close to LAX. It’s easy for us to let the dogs out back throughout the day and to go for frequent walks around the block. We used Rover for our own dog so we know how great it feels to know that your pup is being taken care of like family while you are away. Poodles, poodle mixes, and smaller dogs are preferred but there’s always exceptions. My husband Liam, and I both work from home so there's always an adult around to make sure the dogs are taking care of. We live in a quiet neighborhood that's easy to take the dogs on walks. And with our backyard we can let the dogs out for frequent bathroom breaks if needed. We have a completely fenced in back yard that our dog loved in his time here. Our older children are at school or activities for most of the day so the dogs will generally have the run of the house.

About: What sets me apart is honestly my genuine love for animals. It started when I was around 12 years old when I got my very first dog, and ever since then I completely fell in love with caring for animals. Over time, my family and I adopted more dogs. Friends and neighbors have also trusted me to personally care for and babysit their dogs over the years. My own dogs have also had litters of puppies before, which taught me so much about caring for newborn puppies and younger dogs. Because of that, I’ve gained experience with dogs of all ages, from newborn puppies to senior dogs. I truly see animals as family, and I love making them feel safe, comfortable, loved, and cared for. Pet care fits really naturally into my routine because I already spend a lot of my time around animals and genuinely enjoy caring for them. I currently work part-time only on weekends, but my hours and availability are very flexible since I basically make my own schedule. I also fostered cats for multiple years and have experience with medication, shots and different types of temperament. I have dealt with it all! I love all dogs and am going into the veterinary field because of my love and passion for our best friends.
