“Hazbleydy I. & her husband were great! My dog can be very anxious and is usually not fond of new people but she had a great time at their house. Hazbleydy kept me updated with pictures the entire time, and even went out to get supplies for my dog that had ran out of during the stay. I would highly recommend her!”

“Megan and family were so wonderful with our dog. Megan was honest, very patient, easy to communicate with and provided regular updates/photos. We highly recommend them.”

“Alycia and Scott were great with our 2 dogs! The dogs seemed happy safe and comfortable in their home. We received pictures every day. Will definitely contact them in the future.”

“Michelle was an excellent dog sitter. We knew Cookie was in safe hands while we enjoyed some Fall camping. When I got back into cell phone service on Sunday I was greeted with dozens of pictures of Cookie having fun and going for walks. He got a bath as well, and smells lovely. :-)”

“Our dog had a wonderful stay! She was happy and well-cared for — treated like one of their own dogs. Thank you, Danielle and Jathan, for another great stay! We look forward to working with you again in the future.”

“Ryan was very reassuring when I went to meet and greet him, and his dog, Ellie, with our two almost-1-year old Yorkies. He accommodated my concerns because of their small size and put mesh and draped, blankets on his balcony rails! I had never left the pups for more than three days so it was nice to get the photos and videos and messages Ryan sent that showed they were happy and well cared for. The puppies loved Ryan. (He said they played well with his dog, too)) I’m glad we can reach out again someday to see about the pups spending time again with their new friends, Ryan and Ellie!”

I have worked with very skittish dogs on multiple occasions. I will take “aggressive” dogs as a case by case. I have been taking care of animals for most of my life. It started by cleaning litter boxes and giving cats water to taking care of 43 animals by myself. I volunteered at different animal shelters in the different places I have lived at. My husband use to be a K9 handler in the Air force, So I learned training Techniques from him and trained my Golden Retriever with the things I have learned. I am a stay at home mom. I’m dependable, patient, and genuinely enjoy giving pets the attention, comfort, exercise, and companionship they need. My goal is to make your pets feel safe, happy, and loved while you’re away. As a work-from-home mom, pet sitting fits naturally into my daily routine. My flexible schedule allows me to be available for visits, walks, feedings, and plenty of attention throughout the day. I love having pets as part of my routine and enjoy making sure they feel comfortable, cared for, and loved while their families are away. I care for every pet with patience, love, and attention to their individual routine. In my home, pets have access to an unfenced yard for supervised outdoor time and plenty of room to relax. In a client’s home, I follow their instructions closely and keep their pet comfortable in their familiar environment.
“Marina and Michael took excellent care of our furry baby while we went on a trip and left her for the first time ever. She sent lots of updates with pics and made it so much easier being without our girl for a week, knowing she was in good hands :-)”

“Jonathan was a great sitter for my 3 year old, Boston Terrier, Louie! He communicated well and sent lots of pictures so I never had to worry how it was going and in a timely manner too. Happy I chose Jonathan during a last minute trip planned for the weekend. I highly recommend and will be booking again :)”

About: I currently have a cat. I have pet sat for friends before and generally enjoy spending time with and caring for animals. Through Rover I have provided doggy daycare, pet boarding and dog walking. I am happy to take care of your pets as you have a need. The best times for me to drop by or walk a dog are 12:30-3pm on weekdays. 9-11am is the next best timeframe. I can pet sit an animal in my home depending on availability and pet needs which can be discussed in detail with the owner. My cat is an indoor and outdoor pet and would be kept away from any animals I would pet sit. I can walk dogs easily in my large yard (over 6 acres of land), can crate any pets as needed/requested and have space inside my home to care for them. I can come to a client's home and let a pet out as needed, feed and replenish water as needed, or handle any other general pet care during the day as requested within my available schedule.
“Christina did an outstanding job with Frankie! She kept Frankie on almost the same schedule as we have here at home & sent us pictures of Frankie regularly so we knew she was doing okay. I will definitely use Christina again in the future.”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their West Arnheim home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your West Arnheim.
Tip: You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your West Arnheim sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee, which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page.
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in OH ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
