About: Hi there! My name is Vickie and I have over 40 years in the Pet Industry. My pet career started in the pet department at Walmart (when they still had live pets). I have an Animal Science degree and was a Vet Tech for 9 years. I have experience as a vet clinic and boarding manager . I learned to groom through donating my time to grooming dogs in local rescue organizations. I soon realized that my passion was grooming and retired from the Veterinary field. I own a successful grooming business of 11 years and a dog collar and harness company. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my 11 year old daughter, cooking for my family and my own pups and showing my poodles in confirmation, lure coursing and rally obedience. I am semi retired from grooming and with my daughter being in school, I have found that I really miss interacting with my clients pets everyday. About: I've taken care of dogs, cats, and horses of every kind since I was 10. I've never had a period of my life without at least several dogs, cats, reptiles, and dozens of other creatures. I worked in a busy, understaffed animal shelter for 10 years as the head trainer, walker, and advocacy and social media manager. About: I am currently on our 50th foster for local rescues, we have fostered puppies, seniors, and everything inbetween. We absolutely loves animals and they give us joy. Have been pet setting for many years and would love to host your furr babies. I currently work from home and our pets are very spoiled. They get tons of play time and potty breaks. If I do leave the house its for maybe a few hours at a time at most. We have a fenced yard and two friendly pups to keep your babies company while you're away. We also have chickens and pigs on the farm which some pets seem to really enjoy. Kennel and Leash walks can be provided also if needed.
About: I’ve helped raise dogs and puppies since I was 12, having multiple litters in my care. I previously had a dog, named Evie, that I raised from 8 weeks. The fact that they have a fun and playful Australian Shepard ages 1.5yrs, that my puppy could play with all day, really helped him enjoy his stay! They seemed to al get along great! Katherine provided a fun environment for Oliver. She walked him and let him play in their large backyard each day, even in the heat! She sent daily updates via text with photos and helped put our minds at ease for our pup while we were gone.”
