Emily was an awesome sitter! She was super communicative, and definitely seemed to understand my anxiety about leaving my cats. She took great pictures of my cats, and even got under my bed and behind furniture to make sure I had photos of my two hiding cats! Would definitely rebook!

About: I've taken care of all kinds of dogs since I was 13. I personally have 5 current pets right now. This includes 1 dog 3 cats and even a turtle. I got a degree to be a veterinarian assistant and worked in an animal clinic for almost a year. Right now I am a kennel attendant at a doggy daycare. Where required online training was required. We get a variety of different dogs. Ranging from small to large, young to old, even a few dogs with some medicine issues. I'm currently working part-time. In my free time, I take my son out for walks, so I can possibly bring dogs with me. I do have my own car for transportation. I live in a neighborhood where there is a lot of strays, so when I walk my dog, I carry a spray shield, which is citronella and animal deterrent from Pet Safe. Working at a dog daycare, we get a lot of dogs with some type of medical condition. From clean Bulldogs folds to make sure dogs take their medicine when needed.

About: Hello! Let me help you and your pet feel safe and secure. I've been a pet lover for years and now have the time to offer care on a larger scale. In the past I have fostered animals, primarily cats and dogs with the SPCA. During that time I worked with small and larger breeds of various personalities. I have the patience to work with dogs that may be anxious or shy, and dogs that are more rambunctious as well. I love learning about animals, and would even like to become a dog trainer. Let's connect! My schedule is flexible and open at this time. I can work mornings, afternoons, or evenings, and I'm always open to discuss what needs you may have. It's essential to build a relationship with the pet. You want the dog to feel secure, ensure that you can change behavior if needed, and pay attention so that they don't find themselves in trouble.

About: I’ve taken care of pets my entire life! Growing up, my parents always allowed us to have pets as long as we were responsible for them, so caring for animals has always been a big part of my life. I genuinely love spending time with animals and getting to know their individual personalities. I’m responsible, patient, attentive, and happy to give pets the love and attention they need while their owners are away. Whether it’s playing, going for walks, giving lots of cuddles, or simply keeping them company, I’ll treat every pet like they’re my own! I’m currently a student at Oklahoma State University in Stillwater, but I live in Tulsa. I’m in Tulsa every weekend from Thursday through Sunday and am also available on other evenings during the week depending on my class schedule. My schedule gives me flexibility to spend plenty of time with pets, and I’m happy to work with owners to find a schedule that works best for them and their pets! I’m very comfortable around all kinds of animals and always want pets to feel safe, comfortable, and loved while they’re in my care! I’m happy to follow each pet’s normal routine, including feeding, walks, playtime, potty breaks, and lots of attention! I’ll also make sure to follow any specific instructions from the owner so their pet can stick to the routine they’re used to!

About: I got my first dog in elementary school, and ever since then I’ve never had less than two pets at a time. I often bring home dogs I find on the street and take care of them until I can find them a suitable home. I have experience pet sitting dogs of both small and large sizes, and am willing to work my schedule around your pups typical habits. I currently have a very flexible part-time schedule and am also currently enrolled in online college courses. This gives me the ability to structure my day around your pet’s needs. I volunteer with animals on Tuesday evenings, but if those times collide we can work it out. :) I do my best to over communicate if I notice anything going on with your pet that might be cause for concern. If there is no backyard that’s okay, I am more than happy to walk pets multiples times a day. If I am staying overnight I usually do a thorough cleaning of the floors before I leave. I am willing to water plants, take out trash cans, scoop litter, etc.

10/10 I would definitely recommend and rebook for future drop-ins. She took care of my 3 large dogs on such short notice. She cleaned up an accident in the crate when she didn’t have to. I was worried about leaving them alone for days when they have never been alone, but would have her come back in a heart beat!

About: Hi! I’m Ashley, a reliable and caring college student with years of experience around both cats and dogs. I grew up with cats, so I’m very comfortable caring for them and understanding their personalities and routines. Most of my family has dogs, and I’ve been dog sitting for as long as I can remember, so I’m experienced with dogs of different sizes, ages, and energy levels as well. In my free time, I volunteer at the Tulsa SPCA, which has given me even more hands-on experience caring for animals and making sure they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m dependable, patient, and very attentive to pets’ needs, and I’ll always treat your pets like they’re my own! I currently work part-time with Red Bull, so my schedule is very flexible and allows me to spend plenty of quality time with pets throughout the week. I’m available for drop-ins, walks, and pet sitting during weekdays and weekends, and I’m great at balancing responsibilities while staying dependable and organized. Since my work often involves creating my own schedule and being active around the community, I’m able to give pets lots of attention, playtime, walks, and care throughout the day. I always prioritize making pets feel safe, comfortable, and cared for in their own environment. I pay close attention to each pet’s personality, routines, and body language so I can care for them in a way that makes them feel secure and relaxed. Whether a pet is energetic and playful or more shy and independent, I’m patient and attentive to their needs. I make sure feeding schedules, walks, medications, litter box cleaning, and playtime are handled exactly how owners prefer, and I always keep spaces clean and safe. I also believe communication is very important, so I’ll send updates and photos to help owners feel comfortable while they’re away. Through volunteering at the Tulsa SPCA and years of personal experience with both cats and dogs, I’ve learned how important trust, consistency, and gentle care are for every animal.

About: I have taken care of animals of all shapes and sizes. I have helped several cats through the birthing process and have been able to provide life saving care to young fosters. I believe in animal conservation and being a voice for those that don't have one. I am reliable and trustworthy and will love your pet just as much as you do. I am available to care for your pets full time. I have a guest room for overnight stays and I live in an home that has a fenced backyard. I also know of several wonderful parks that your pets would absolutely love. Boarding with Crate Trained Dogs: I offers a safe and comfortable environment for dogs and cats that are crate trained. Crate trained dogs are accustomed to spending time in their crates, which provides them with a secure and familiar space when they are not directly supervised by the pet sitter. House Sitting: In addition to providing boarding services, I also offer house sitting. This entails staying at the pet owner's home while they are away, ensuring the safety and security of both the pets and the property. House sitting offers the benefit of maintaining a consistent environment for the dogs, reducing stress and anxiety. Requirements: Crate Training Verification: I will require verification that the dogs that are boarded are crate trained. This is to ensure the safety and well-being of the dogs during their stay, as crate trained dogs are less likely to engage in destructive behavior and are more comfortable in unfamiliar settings. Vaccination Records: Before accepting any dogs for boarding or house sitting, I will request up-to-date vaccination records to confirm that the dogs are properly immunized. This requirement helps prevent the spread of contagious diseases and ensures the health of all animals involved. Meet and Greet: Prior to the scheduled boarding or house sitting period, I will conduct a meet and greet session with the dogs and their owners. This meeting allows me to get acquainted with the dogs, learn about their routines, and discuss any specific care instructions or special needs. Emergency Contact Information: I will request emergency contact information for the pet owners, including the contact details of a trusted veterinarian. This ensures that I can quickly reach out in case of any unforeseen medical situations. Feeding and Medication Instructions: I will require detailed instructions regarding the dogs' feeding schedules, dietary restrictions, and any necessary medications. Following these instructions accurately is crucial for the dogs' health and well-being during their stay. Emergency Plan: A comprehensive emergency plan will be established in case of unexpected situations, such as a natural disaster, power outage, or health emergency. This plan will outline the steps I will take to ensure the safety of the dogs and the property. Pet Owner's Consent: The pet owner will be required to sign a contract or agreement that outlines the services to be provided, the dates of boarding or house sitting, and any other terms and conditions. This contract will protect both the pet sitter and the pet owner and ensure that everyone is on the same page regarding expectations. By offering boarding services for crate trained dogs and providing house sitting, the I create a comfortable and secure environment for pets while ensuring peace of mind for their owners during their time away. The requirements and procedures in place help maintain a smooth and enjoyable experience for all parties involved. I work from home so I can take care of your pup from anywhere whether it's at your place or mine we are sure to have a great time. I have a designated guest room for boarding and am happy to accommodate your furry friend however they need. Please let me know of any special needs or requests.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of August 2026, there are 353 sitters on Rover offering Cat Sitting across Wes. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Cat sitters on Rover care for your cats’ needs and can spend quality time with them, including activities like feeding, playing, and refreshing their water and litter boxes. Depending on your arrangement, you can schedule as many visits per day as your cat needs or find a sitter who can stay at your house overnight. Some sitters also board cats in their home.

House sitting can be ideal for cats who need socialization or care that lasts longer than a few hours. Your cat stays in their own home, on their own schedule, with care based on what you and your sitter agree on together.

Many pet parents provide a spare key or arrange a lockbox. You can also exchange keys during the Meet & Greet and show your walker how to use digital fobs or personalized codes. It helps to arrange access to your home, from spare keys to concierge introductions, before pet care begins.

If you live in an apartment or condo, don’t forget to discuss details like buzzer access, codes, or elevator etiquette. These details can help a pet sitter feel more comfortable going in and out of your building.

Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your cat, and a sitter. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your sitter or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your sitter questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and sitters on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience with handling special pet needs in Wes. On Rover:

  • 98% of sitters can help with special care needs
  • 96% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 96% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement sitter.
