“Lindsay was so great with our pup! She spent a lot of quality time with her letting her play in the front yard and giving her plenty of love. My dog has some separation anxiety so it was soooo reassuring knowing that she was in good hands with Lindsay. Lindsay is also extremely responsive and friendly. We will definitely be booking with her again!”

“Joseph was wonderful and would highly recommend! We appreciate how communicative and responsive he is, and he was able to handle multiple dogs on short notice. You can tell through the photos he sent how much our pups were well taken care of. We will for sure be using him again in the future!”

“My doggo can be super shy with new people but Sarah was so sweet and patient and waited for him to calm down to take him on a walk! She took several photos as well which was appreciated!!”

“Breckyn was a lifesaver when I ended up in a pinch over a weekend. We were able to schedule a meet & greet super quickly, and she left thorough notes about each walk. She even pointed out an overgrown claw + sent pictures of my cats too. Really put me at ease! Thanks so much!”

About: I’ve had 3 dogs my entire life, all with completely different personalities. I enjoy the energy they give off and the unconditional love they provide. I’ve had experiences with elderly dogs and puppies, so I understand if there’s any special needs that have to be taken care of. I current work morning shifts and attend morning classes on campus so I will be occupied early in the day but if you’ll be out all day I can definitely do drop ins and walks later in the afternoon/evening so they can get their exercise and attention. I want to make sure I have a firm understanding of your pets personality and know if they get startled easily or if they can get too rowdy. I can handle rowdy, just not be surprised with it. I also want to be on top of any medication they need to be taking of there’s any specific routes we need to take on walks.

“Just one week into having Max (and his fiancé) take care of my two dogs and I’m already so impressed. Max and Jen took the time to get to know my dogs and asked tons of questions prior to starting weekly walks. They are both incredibly communicative and timely, send pictures and updates for each walk, and have been extremely patient with my female pup, who can be shy around new people. I will definitely turn to Max and Jen for any future dog sitting needs!”

“Averi is always reliable and quick to respond. She only had to cancel one time with us as she was attacked by another dog and needed to tend to her own health. She let us know as soon as it happened that she needed to cancel so we could rearrange.”

“Eva is so wonderful with my big girl. Not only does she walk her but she loves on her like her own. I think Sister misses her this morning. I would recommend with absolutely no reservation. She’s the best. Jan Fries”

About: I grew up with dogs and cats my whole life and have loved taking care of them. I’ve pet sit for family and friends for years that included walks, baths, and play. I freelance in the TV and Film industry and am currently in between jobs and have loads of free time! I make my own schedule so I’m able to accommodate clients needs for their pets. I’m at the Village at Commonwealth which is an extremely pet friendly apartment complex. I live next to a large park with paths all around. It’s just me and my cat Kris, who absolutely loves dogs.

About: Hi there! I’m Camille — a pediatric ICU nurse and lifelong animal lover with a deep appreciation for what it means to trust someone with your pets. As a nurse, compassion and attention to detail are second nature to me — and I bring that same energy to pet care. I grew up surrounded by animals, and recently said goodbye to my sweet dog Milo, a border collie with endless energy and the biggest heart. He taught me everything about what high-energy dogs need — mental stimulation, routine, love, and lots of exercise. I also had two cats, Morty and Dewey, who were my snuggle buddies and brought so much comfort during life’s hardest moments. My cat Bandit is still with me — a little spicy but slowly becoming more affectionate every day 🖤 Whether your pet is outgoing or shy, high-energy or low-key, I’m here to meet them where they are with patience, love, and genuine care. I’m confident with medications, senior pet care, and building trust with more anxious animals. I know how hard it is to leave your pets behind — I’ve been there — so I’ll treat yours like my own and keep you updated every step of the way. As a pediatric ICU nurse, I work a few long shifts each week, which means I have several days off in between to dedicate to pet care. On my days off, I love spending time outside and staying active — and there’s no better way to do that than with a furry friend by my side! Whether it’s walks, playtime, or quiet visits for cuddles and check-ins, I genuinely enjoy building pet care into my routine. It brings me joy, balance, and a sense of purpose outside of the hospital. I’m reliable, flexible, and committed to making sure your pets feel safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. Whether I’m caring for pets in my home or yours, my approach is always rooted in empathy, consistency, and safety. I take time to learn your pet’s routine, preferences, and personality — because every animal is different, and I want them to feel as comfortable and cared for as possible while you’re away. In your home, I’m respectful of your space and your pet’s schedule. I’ll follow feeding instructions closely, provide medication if needed, and make sure your pet gets plenty of play, walks, or calm companionship depending on their needs. I’ll also keep you updated with messages and photos so you never have to wonder how they’re doing. When pets stay in my home (for those who allow it), they get a peaceful, cozy environment with lots of attention and a calm vibe. I’m especially mindful with shy or high-energy pets, using positive reinforcement, enrichment activities, and a gentle approach to help them feel at ease. With my background in nursing, I’m extra vigilant about changes in behavior, eating, or energy — and I’m comfortable administering medications or providing senior pet support if needed. Your pet’s well-being is my top priority!

About: I have loved animals for as long as I can remember and finally became a pet paw-rent four years ago to my two cats. While I love my feline friends, I also have a special place in my heart for our canine companions, as I often care for my sister’s two pups: a Jack Russell/rat terrier mix and a pug. I have experience caring for kitten/puppy age all the way to seniors. I understand the importance of enrichment for both dogs and cats and would love to break out your animal’s favorite toys during our visit. I also love walking with dogs to explore their world, whether that’s on city streets or nature trails. I have experience with basic puppy training (including crate and leash training). I’m also experienced with basic health concerns and administering medicine as I have cared for my own cat after a dental extraction and also adjusted my other cat’s diet to lose weight (both are happy and healthy now!). If there is a specific concern you’d like me to tend to with your animal, I can certainly help. I look forward to meeting you and your pets and becoming a paws-itive part of both your worlds! I’m currently available for drop ins and walks from the morning into the evening so I can devote plenty of time to your pets. This flexibility also allows me to better cater to your needs, should you need any adjustments. I care for your pets just as I do my own: their comfort, safety, and health are my top priorities. I ensure they are well fed, hydrated, enriched, and comfortable before concluding the visit. I make sure to send plenty of pictures to you so you have ease of mind knowing your animals are receiving the best possible care and experience.

About: I have lived with / owned pets since I was born, and currently I have 2 cats of my own! I love cats and dogs, and will take very good care of any that I watch! I love giving them exercise, good food, and scratches. I am available during most weekends to take care of your fur babies! I work a corporate 8-5, but I am available when I’m not working my full time job. I make sure that pets are fed, have enough water, get exercise, and attention. As a pet owner I know how much people miss their pets when they are out of town, so I will send lots of pictures!

About: Hi there! I’m a passionate pet lover with over 8 years of hands-on experience caring for animals. I currently have three amazing dogs of my own and have grown up surrounded by both dogs and cats, so I understand their needs, behaviors, and how to make them feel safe and loved. I often dog-sit for friends for days at a time and genuinely enjoy every moment of it. Whether it’s long walks, playtime, or just keeping your pet company, I’m committed to making sure they feel happy and cared for while you’re away. I’m young, active, and dependable. I offer in-home pet sitting and dog walking, and I’m more than happy to travel to you. I have my own car with a spacious backseat—perfect for picking up and safely transporting your pets if needed. I’d love the chance to meet your furry friend and give them the same level of care I give my own. I hope you’ll consider me—your pet will be in great hands! I’m typically off work by 3 PM, so I have ample time to give your pets the attention they deserve, whether it’s for walks, playtime, or in-home care. I understand that every pet has unique needs and preferences, and I’m dedicated to providing personalized care for each one. Whether your pet requires extra attention, a special routine, or medical care, I’m committed to ensuring they feel safe, comfortable, and loved. I’m experienced in handling both energetic pets who love to play and more laid-back ones who just need some companionship. From administering medication to following specific feeding schedules or providing extra comfort, I tailor my approach to meet your pet’s individual needs.

About: I grew up surrounded by lots of cats and have been caring for them my whole life. I also have a dog and a cat of my own now, so I truly understand how important it is for pets to feel safe, loved, and comfortable while you’re away. I naturally connect with dogs and cats of all kinds — shy, playful, big, or small — and I trained my own dog, so I’m comfortable handling different needs and personalities. I love giving every pet the same care and attention I’d want for my own fur babies. I recently had to quit my full time job to focus on my school. So i am mostly available. For the walks i prefer early or after 4-5pm because of the heat but otherwise i am mostly available. When I visit your home for walking or drop-in visits, I make sure to follow your pet’s routine closely — from feeding schedules to playtime preferences and any special needs. I spend quality time with them, offering lots of attention, gentle play, and calm companionship to help them feel safe and happy while you’re away. During walks, I keep your dog’s pace and personality in mind — whether they love energetic runs or slower strolls — and always prioritize their safety and comfort. I’m attentive, reliable, and treat every pet like they’re my own.

Wendover-Sedgewood dog parents share their Rover experiences
I can’t say enough great things about Lauren. As my first time using the app/service I was highly impressed. Throughout each walk, Lauren updated with daily photos and messages, letting me know how things were going. It gave me such peace of mind to know my dog was being loved, walked, and cared for like one of their own. I came home to a happy dog. If you’re looking for someone reliable, kind, and truly passionate about pets, I highly recommend Lauren. I’ll definitely be booking again!

Joseph was wonderful and would highly recommend! We appreciate how communicative and responsive he is, and he was able to handle multiple dogs on short notice. You can tell through the photos he sent how much our pups were well taken care of. We will for sure be using him again in the future!

We love Olivia! She was on time and so sweet. She went above and beyond while walking Seamus—they did a full mile in 30 minutes! My boy was pooped when he got back, which definitely helped ease my guilt on a busy day. She made me feel very comfortable and reassured me that he was well behaved. It’s always a little nerve-wracking handing the leash over and hoping they behave themselves, but she handled it perfectly. We’ll definitely be contacting her again for walks. Thanks again, Olivia!

If "Above & beyond" were a person, it would be Elizabeth! The care Elizabeth showed for Diesel, from the meet & greet til their last walk was incredible. Diesel, who is known to be... "selective", got excited anytime she heard the buzzer sound and walked to the hallway and greet Elizabeth when they arrived. Normally she is very coy, but not with Elizabeth! It takes weeks for Diesel to warm to someone, but Elizabeth had her in days. It was clear that Elizabeth has a passion for dogs. Administratively, Elizabeth was prompt, communicative, and professional at all times. She displayed extraordinary patience before and during the booking process, as there were some issues on Rover's end. I would not hesitate to recommend Elizabeth to care for your animal. I will certainly be relying on her again, to care for mine.

Megan is truly a delight to work with and I feel so grateful to have her in my puppy’s life. She is helpful with puppy training and thoughtful about her interactions and commentary with him each visit. She has helped reenforce puppy training and given great advice when we needed help or had questions. Mango looks forward to Megan each visit, and I am always confident he is in good hands. Thank you Megan!!

This was a last minute request for dog sitting as my regular dog sitter got sick. Jillian was quick to respond that she was able to watch my 16 y/o dachshund. We made arrangements for a meet and greet and he absolutely loved her. While I was gone, Jillian was very communicative and sent photos. I came home to a very happy and well cared for dog. Will definitely reach out to Jillian again!
