Our current dog is a six year old lab mix who we rescued and our dog before him was a Jack Russell Terrier who lived to be 18 years old. About: I’ve grown up around dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes ever since I was young, and as I got older, my love for them continued to grow. This passion was instrumental in deciding my future as I am currently studying at Texas A&M and finishing up my degree in Animal Science. I want to pursue a career in veterinary medicine and plan on applying to the Texas A&M Veterinary School in 2026. I have worked in two veterinary clinics, one of which was AHAA accredited and provided overnight boarding for both cats and dogs. Outside of my time in clinics, I have also studied in laboratories that were at the cutting edge of veterinary medicine. Although not as relevant to this service, I also have experience in exotic pet care, including lagamorphs, rodents, arthropods, and wildlife. My unique experiences have provided me not only with a vast of knowledge of animal medicine, but an understanding of animal communication and husbandry as well. I know that pets are held very close to our hearts, and if I am given the privilege to watch yours, I will use my knowledge, and, most importantly, my compassion to give them the love and care they deserve while your away. While I am currently in college, my work load this semester is very light as I near the end of my degree - only 8 hours a week. When I’m not at class, I’m at home and will be able to give your pet the attention they need. I am very flexible and am willing to watch your pet in my two story condo or in your very own home! My only mission is to make your pet most comfortable, and I will do whatever I can to make it so. I understand that every pet is different, and am more than happy to accommodate for all. About: My daughter and I had a business called Mother and Daughter Pet Sitting throughout her high school years. She is grown now but many of the clients have stuck with me over 10 years. Don't let my age fool you, I'm up for a good walk with a wagging tail friend. I recently retired from my day job but stay busy with a part-time job, yoga and as a radio host! Day assignments and early evenings are no problem. I may request my daughter's help with pet sitting from time to time. I will include her in the meet and greet if I think she may be helping. Her job is flexible and is a great back up for me. Safety is very important to me. Walks always require a leash and prefer no shock collars. Your safety requests will always be honored. I have a fenced yard but do hope to be able to care for your pet at your home. I do have the space to crate at our home if needed.
