“Brittany is kind, responsive, clear, thorough, thoughtful, communicative, and very appreciated in our household! She’s walked my dog 15+ times & we will absolutely be requesting her services again in the future. Highly recommend!!”

About: My daughter and I had a business called Mother and Daughter Pet Sitting throughout her high school years. She is grown now but many of the clients have stuck with me over 10 years. Don't let my age fool you, I'm up for a good walk with a wagging tail friend. I recently retired from my day job but stay busy with a part-time job, yoga and as a radio host! Day assignments and early evenings are no problem. I may request my daughter's help with pet sitting from time to time. I will include her in the meet and greet if I think she may be helping. Her job is flexible and is a great back up for me. Safety is very important to me. Walks always require a leash and prefer no shock collars. Your safety requests will always be honored. I have a fenced yard but do hope to be able to care for your pet at your home. I do have the space to crate at our home if needed.

“Kristen was absolutely amazing with our girls. Our dogs are not the easiest to walk, so we were a bit nervous at first. They were both very happy and healthy upon our return. She sent us lots of pictures of tired doggies after their walks. Highly recommend.”
“Always so reliable which takes a lot of stress away while traveling. Gino always takes Nala on good long walks and shares many photos. I always feel confident leaving Nala in the care of Gino.”

About: I love animals of all kinds and I look forward to taking care of your beloved pets! I have dog training experience going back to my teens, I’m very active and happy to go on long walks with high energy pups, and I have extensive senior care experience (my own pup sadly just passed after a battle with cancer). I’m comfortable giving meds and assisting senior pets with getting up and around and lifting as needed. Pets have always been family members for me, and I’ll make sure yours are cared for as such! My schedule is relatively flexible around the classes I teach on campus, but there are a few hours each weekday that I will not be available. Well-trained dogs are welcome in my home if they do not have a history of destructive behaviors, digging, or marking. I have a fenced yard and no pets. I do have indoor plants that may not be safe for pets, so if your dogs are prone to nibble plants, please let me know so I can relocate them to a closed room! I am also happy to stay at your home if your pets would prefer a familiar place.
About: I've loved animals my entire life and I'm working toward being able to work with them professionally/full time! I currently study biology and psychology in university in hopes of becoming an animal behaviorist. I've been very lucky to have pets my whole life, and right now I have three cats and a dog! — ((New update, we got a puppy! Because of all our animals, I’m taking a break from overnight stays so I can focus on our own pets 😊) — I've taken care of pets from all stages of life, from fostering kittens to caring for elderly fur babies. I can administer medication and have cleaned out both whole yards and whole litterboxes of poop. I'd love to help out in any way I can and I hope you choose me to love on your babies! I will love them as my own <3 I'm currently taking a gap year from college to gain more hands-on experience with animals, so I have a very flexible schedule! I volunteer regularly at the local humane society and work part time at an equestrian barn, having ridden for many years, but I can work that around any bookings. I'm very committed to pet-sitting, so I will keep my availability up date as much as possible! I take owners very seriously and will follow any given routine consistently. I love cuddling and playing with both dogs and cats, but will also give them as much space as they may need, as I understand that every pet is a unique individual. I never get tired of loving on pets and will treat them as if they were my own. I will clean up after them, feed them, refill water bowls consistently, and can give medication if needed. I harness-trained my cats at home and take them out to our fenced in backyard almost everyday, so if that's something your cat likes, I can do that too! I can also of course walk your dog!
“Once again Megan T. delivered excellent service. She was punctual, and the dogs adore her. She is a young teacher earning extra dollars on breaks and weekends. So whenever your regular walker isn't available on a weekend, please give this lady a try!”

About: I have loved caring for animals for as long as I can remember. Growing up on a farm, I gained hands-on experience caring for not only dogs and cats, but also sheep and horses. I’ve been responsible for animals since I was young and have developed a strong passion for providing them with loving, attentive care. I am experienced with pets of all ages, including senior animals, and I will always ensure your pets are safe, comfortable, and treated like family while they’re in my care. Pet care would be part of my everyday schedule. I would plan my day around feeding times, walks, litter box cleaning, playtime, and making sure each pet gets attention and comfort. I’m used to being responsible and checking in on animals multiple times throughout the day, so I can easily adjust my routine to meet their needs. In my own home or a client’s home, I care for pets by following their normal routine as closely as possible so they feel comfortable and safe. I make sure they are fed on schedule, always have fresh water, and get plenty of attention, exercise, and playtime based on their energy level and personality. I also keep their space clean by picking up after them, cleaning litter boxes or accidents right away, and making sure their environment stays safe and calm.

“Lindsey was great walking Woody. She kept me updated with pictures and details about the walk. Woody is having a great time with her. Very pleased with her help with Woody!”

About: I have always been a huge animal lover, and am currently a dog mom. I love all animals and was raised with cats, dogs, fish and even some frogs! My apartment is very dog friendly with its own dog park and fenced in yards. I work remote and have a lot of free time during the day to show your pup some love and attention. On weekends my schedule is open for the whole day/evenings. I have a flexible schedule so feel free to message at any time! I have one very sweet pup to keep your dog company and a dog park on the premises for play dates and walks. I also have a large crate if needed for your pup while they are staying.
About: I’ve grown up around dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes ever since I was young, and as I got older, my love for them continued to grow. This passion was instrumental in deciding my future as I am currently studying at Texas A&M and finishing up my degree in Animal Science. I want to pursue a career in veterinary medicine and plan on applying to the Texas A&M Veterinary School in 2026. I have worked in two veterinary clinics, one of which was AHAA accredited and provided overnight boarding for both cats and dogs. Outside of my time in clinics, I have also studied in laboratories that were at the cutting edge of veterinary medicine. Although not as relevant to this service, I also have experience in exotic pet care, including lagamorphs, rodents, arthropods, and wildlife. My unique experiences have provided me not only with a vast of knowledge of animal medicine, but an understanding of animal communication and husbandry as well. I know that pets are held very close to our hearts, and if I am given the privilege to watch yours, I will use my knowledge, and, most importantly, my compassion to give them the love and care they deserve while your away. While I am currently in college, my work load this semester is very light as I near the end of my degree - only 8 hours a week. When I’m not at class, I’m at home and will be able to give your pet the attention they need. I am very flexible and am willing to watch your pet in my two story condo or in your very own home! My only mission is to make your pet most comfortable, and I will do whatever I can to make it so. I understand that every pet is different, and am more than happy to accommodate for all. My goal is to limit their schedule changes to create as little stress as possible while you’re gone. Whatever walking or feeding schedule you provide will be the one that I adopt when caring for your babies!

About: I've owned dogs and cats my entire life and aspire to become a wildlife rehabilitator. I currently have two dogs of my own, and I always ensure they receive the best care. I strongly value quality enrichment, play, and exercise to ensure dog health and fulfillment. I've even taught my dog how to communicate using buttons and have mentored under a veterinarian. I've been studying dog behavior and habits since I was 10 years old, and I truly have a passion for caring for animals. I manage my own small business, so I have plenty of time to take care of your fur babies. My schedule is super flexible, and I will cater to your needs. I'm available mornings, afternoons, evenings, and even available for overnight stays. I will treat your home and pet with the utmost respect. I am a very clean person and always aim to leave any place I enter the exact way I left it. I will always make sure your pet is comfortable with me in their space before handling. I will follow all protocols and tasks asked of me, and will communicate promptly in case of any questions or emergencies. Your pet's safety and well-being are my top priority.
About: I’ve been caring for animals my whole life through 4-H, where I raised and showed cows and pigs—so I’m comfortable with animals of all sizes and personalities. I also worked at a veterinary hospital, gaining hands-on experience with feeding, cleaning, monitoring health, and helping keep pets calm and comfortable. I treat every pet like my own and focus on keeping them safe, happy, and well cared for while you’re away I’m a full-time student as well as a part-time server. I definitely prefer mornings, but I’m pretty flexible this summer. If you’re looking for consistent care, I’m happy to do so. I prioritize safety, consistency, and a calm environment for every pet. I carefully follow your pet’s routine, including feeding, medications, and exercise, and always keep a clean, secure space. With my veterinary hospital experience, I’m attentive to behavior changes and health concerns. I provide regular updates so you feel confident your pet is safe, comfortable, and well cared for in your home
About: I grew up on a farm. Have had numerous dogs, cats and other species. I have worked at a pet resort and am currently a vet tech working at a local hospital. I am currently doing school and working part- time, but I know how to manage my time in between. For example, I love taking dogs on walks and doing interactive activities with them! I currently do have a senior dog that can keep your fur baby company. I have a fenced in yard, but I do also do walks. My dog goes on 2-3 walks a day + gets time outside in my back yard whenever she wants. She’s on a strict feeding schedule and has dietary restrictions which I also accommodate.

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was in high school (many moons ago) and I love ALL animals. I also have three pets of my own and will treat your pet as if it were mine! I’ve cared for cats, dogs, hamsters, parakeets, and fish. All pets welcome 🤗 My attention to detail, goal-oriented personality, and reliability will help you feel at ease while you’re away. I’m currently a stay at home mom looking to keep busy this summer so there’s lots of flexibility to care for your babies! Due to my husband’s work schedule and caring for our kids, I can only offer drop in visits and caring for your pet in your home. In lieu of staying in your home overnight, I can offer multiple drop in visits if your pet is able to stay alone overnight.
About: Howdy! I am a pet loving TAMU med student who has experience with all sorts of animals, including farm animals, household pets, fish, reptiles, you name it! I took some time off from pet sitting while I finished up my undergrad degree, but I am now back at it! I will treat your pets like my own and love to snap lots of pics of our adventures together! I’m currently working part-time before starting school in July and would love to spend my free time doing what I love most, spending it with furry friends! I understand the value of being able to make a pet feel at home, even when their owner is away! I will always work to provide the best possible environment for your pets and give you faith that your fur babies are in great hands!

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.
A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.
Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.
Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.
If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
