Liana was so good with Oreo! She took time to make sure he was comfortable and worked with him when he was scared. She also gave updates on how he was doing/how the visit went! I definitely would recommend her!

This is the second time I have used Brittany. The first meeting we had to see if she was a fit, she brought a checklist and asked great questions. I appreciated the attention to detail. This was the first time my nearly 13 year old Labrador had been apart from me for a full week. He did great, but it was only because of her commitment to take care of him.

Julia was great! We needed someone to take care of our dog at TAMU during our son's jazz concert, and this worked perfectly. Mysa was very happy at the end of the walk, and this saved us from boarding her or having her stay alone for 11+ hours. Plus our son got to see his dog! Thank you Julia!

About: I’ve been pet sitting since I was in high school (many moons ago) and I love ALL animals. I also have three pets of my own and will treat your pet as if it were mine! I’ve cared for cats, dogs, hamsters, parakeets, and fish. All pets welcome 🤗 My attention to detail, goal-oriented personality, and reliability will help you feel at ease while you’re away. I’m currently a stay at home mom looking to keep busy this summer so there’s lots of flexibility to care for your babies! Due to my husband’s work schedule and caring for our kids, I can only offer drop in visits and caring for your pet in your home. In lieu of staying in your home overnight, I can offer multiple drop in visits if your pet is able to stay alone overnight.

Alicia did a phenomenal job! She was very communicative, punctual, professional, and took some great photos of our dog on his walk. We will definitely be requesting her services in the future. We were happy that Jett did all his tricks and commands for her 😀

About: I’ve grown up around dogs and cats of all shapes and sizes ever since I was young, and as I got older, my love for them continued to grow. This passion was instrumental in deciding my future as I am currently studying at Texas A&M and finishing up my degree in Animal Science. I want to pursue a career in veterinary medicine and plan on applying to the Texas A&M Veterinary School in 2026. I have worked in two veterinary clinics, one of which was AHAA accredited and provided overnight boarding for both cats and dogs. Outside of my time in clinics, I have also studied in laboratories that were at the cutting edge of veterinary medicine. Although not as relevant to this service, I also have experience in exotic pet care, including lagamorphs, rodents, arthropods, and wildlife. My unique experiences have provided me not only with a vast of knowledge of animal medicine, but an understanding of animal communication and husbandry as well. I know that pets are held very close to our hearts, and if I am given the privilege to watch yours, I will use my knowledge, and, most importantly, my compassion to give them the love and care they deserve while your away. While I am currently in college, my work load this semester is very light as I near the end of my degree - only 8 hours a week. When I’m not at class, I’m at home and will be able to give your pet the attention they need. I am very flexible and am willing to watch your pet in my two story condo or in your very own home! My only mission is to make your pet most comfortable, and I will do whatever I can to make it so. I understand that every pet is different, and am more than happy to accommodate for all. My goal is to limit their schedule changes to create as little stress as possible while you’re gone. Whatever walking or feeding schedule you provide will be the one that I adopt when caring for your babies!

About: Pets have been a part of my life since I was a child, and I’ve always loved caring for animals. I have experience caring for dogs, including feeding, walks, playtime, giving them plenty of attention, and keeping their space clean. I’m comfortable following each pet parent’s specific instructions and making sure their pets feel safe, happy, and loved while they’re away. I’m dependable, patient, and happy to care for pets with different personalities and energy levels. I’d love the opportunity to give your pets the same love and attention I give my own! My schedule is flexible, and I’m currently available for drop-in visits and dog walks throughout the week. I do have college starting soon, so my availability may change once my classes begin. I’ll always communicate my schedule clearly and keep my availability updated so you know when I’m able to care for your pets. I’m happy to work with you to find times that fit both of our schedules! I always prioritize a pet’s safety, comfort, and well-being. When caring for a pet in their home, I’ll follow the owner’s instructions carefully, keep doors and gates securely closed, make sure pets have access to fresh water, and give them plenty of attention and exercise. I understand that every pet has different needs and routines, so I’ll take the time to make sure they feel comfortable and cared for. I’ll also keep pet parents updated during visits so they know how their pet is doing.

About: About Me Hi! I’m Ashley, and I’m a lifelong dog lover with hands-on experience caring for dogs with different personalities, energy levels, and needs. I currently have two dogs of my own, so I understand how important it is to find someone you can genuinely trust with your pets. I’m comfortable with energetic dogs, dogs who need extra patience, and dogs who benefit from structure, mental stimulation, and a calm approach. I believe every dog is different, and I take the time to get to know each dog’s personality and routine rather than using a one-size-fits-all approach. Whether your dog needs a nice walk, a potty break, some playtime, or simply some company while you’re away, I’ll make sure they receive attentive and loving care. I’m also comfortable reinforcing basic training and household routines that you already use with your dog. My goal is for your dog to feel safe, comfortable, and happy while they’re in my care. Services I Offer Dog Walking * 30-minute walks tailored to your dog’s pace and energy level * Potty breaks and basic leash manners * Plenty of time for sniffing and exploring Drop-In Visits * Potty breaks * Fresh food and water * Playtime and attention * Medication administration if needed and appropriate * Updates and photos so you know how your dog is doing I’m dependable, patient, and attentive, and I’ll treat your dog like they’re my own. My Availability I work a part-time schedule, which gives me flexibility on my days off. I’m primarily interested in providing walks and drop-in visits during the daytime and early evening. I’ll keep my Rover calendar updated so you can easily see my availability. A Note for Pet Parents Before booking, I’m happy to arrange a meet-and-greet so we can go over your dog’s routine, personality, likes and dislikes, and anything else that will help me provide the best possible care. I know leaving your dog with someone new can be stressful. My goal is to make that process as comfortable as possible for both you and your dog. Pet care is already a big part of my daily routine. I have two dogs of my own, so I’m very comfortable building walks, potty breaks, playtime, mental stimulation, and downtime into my day. I work a part-time schedule, which gives me several days each week with flexible availability. On those days, I’m able to dedicate time to walks and drop-in visits without feeling rushed. I’m also intentional about giving dogs both activity and calm, relaxed time depending on what they need. I keep my schedule organized and my Rover availability up to date, and I’m committed to being dependable and consistent for the pets in my care. I care for every pet with patience, attention, and respect for their individual routine. During drop-in visits, I follow your instructions closely, including feeding, fresh water, potty breaks, playtime, medication routines when appropriate, and any other care your pet needs. I know pets are most comfortable when their normal routines are maintained, so I make every effort to keep things familiar and stress-free in their home. I’ll also provide updates and photos during visits so you can have peace of mind knowing your pet is happy and well cared for.

About: Hi! My name is Kenzie Baulier and I’m an Animal Science major at Texas A&M, working toward a certificate in Equine Science. I plan to go to veterinary school in the future because caring for animals has always been my passion. I have 4–5 years of experience dog sitting and walking, and I’ve also fostered dogs of different breeds and personalities. In my free time, I volunteer at the Aggieland Humane Society, where I get hands-on experience helping animals in need. Along with small animals, I also work with horses as part of my job at A&M, so I’m comfortable with pets of all sizes and temperaments. Whether it’s walks, playtime, or just keeping your pets company, I’ll treat them like they’re my own. I’d love the chance to help care for your pets and give you peace of mind while you’re away! 🐾 I work part-time but have a very flexible schedule during the week and on weekends. Fitting in pet care is never an issue, so your pets can get the attention and care they need whenever you need it! I have a fenced-in yard, plus access to a neighborhood dog park and a locked-in grassy field, so your pets can safely run, play, and explore. My roommate has a friendly dog, but I keep him separate when caring for other dogs, ensuring a safe and stress-free environment for your pet.

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of August 2026, there are 534 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Millican. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Millican. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Millican.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Millican. On Rover:

  • 93% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
