About: I am happy to tailor my care to the needs of your family and your furriest family members. Every dog moves at a little bit of a different pace in terms of building trust, and I will meet them where they are at with patience and understanding. Whether they have a lot of exuberance or zoomies to express, or need frequent, short walks and a whole lot of rest and cuddles, I will meet them there. My schedule is flexible at this time, and I have quite a bit of availability. Weekdays are generally more open, but I am often able to accommodate weekends as well. In my home, I do not have any pets or small children. We live rurally, with access to many nearby trails through the forest and Nooksack River. Dogs are required to be leashed on our land to protect wildlife, but there are nearby places to run off-leash if that is what works best for your dog. If I am caring for your pets in your home, I am happy to follow whatever guidelines we agree upon together. It is of utmost importance to me to operate from a place of trust and be respectful of your home.

Mckale took fantastic care of my pup. Her place has a really large fenced area my dog really enjoyed exploring. It’s clear Mckale and her partner love dogs and are very competent dog owners, they have two sweet older dogs who tolerated my young pup. My travel plans changed a few times and Mckale was very understanding and accommodated the changes. I know my dog would be thrilled to stay with them again.
