About: My family has owned both dogs and cats for most of my life. As a kid my daily chores would often include feeding and walking the animals, and of course cleaning up after the ones that I begged my parents to get. A majority of out dogs have been larger breeds including an Alaskan Malamute, American Bulldog, German Shepherd, and multiple lab mixes. Since moving out and having an apartment that does not allow animals, I occassionally voluteer dog walk at a local shelter. I currently work part time at a restaurant and have availability over a variety of times of the day to take care of your pets! Before entrusting me with your pet, I'd like to have a conversation about anythig specific they may need or issues they have that require extra attention. It is also important to me to have an emergency plan in case aything were to happen.

I’m also comfortable caring for pets with additional medical or emotional needs. I have experience with epileptic dogs requiring medication on a strict schedule, as well as dogs who become frightened or anxious during thunderstorms and fireworks. And I’m definitely not just a dog person! I’ve been caring for cats since I was about 10 years old and have experience with both healthy cats and cats with medical needs. I’m comfortable administering medications and subcutaneous fluids and have cared for cats with chronic kidney disease and FeLV. Most importantly, I know how much trust you’re putting in someone when you ask them to care for your pets. I’ll follow your instructions and their normal routine closely, keep you updated with plenty of photos, and give them the same attention and care I’d want someone to give my own animals. My goal is for you to be able to leave knowing your pets are safe, happy, engaged, and in good hands. I am available for walks and drop in visits in the evenings on weekdays (generally, after 5PM), and have more flexibility on weekends to provide pet care. About: I am a huge animal lover. I have raised six chickens and loved them like family. At the Pumpkin Wall Farm in Derry, I volunteer with rescued barn animals. I am more than welcome to keep your cat, teacup dog, or small animal company while you are away. Your little ones will be fed, played with, and cuddled. While I don’t specialize in grooming or medical administration yet, I am excited to learn and follow any procedures your pet requires. My schedule is astonishingly flexible. If you need someone at the last minute, I am here for a quick drop-in. I am available Monday through Friday. Note: My availability varies around Sundays and major holidays.
