About: I have been caring for animals for most of my life, growing up on a dairy farm where I was responsible for the daily care of a variety of animals. “Nate took good care of my 2 senior cats while I was away on vacation. He did daily drop in visits, litter box, fed/watered, gave 1 daily medication, and spent time with them. He also sent pics and gave me updates. My house was clean when I got home. Nate was prompt to respond on the site, we met in advance at a public eatery to get to know each other, and he came to my house after to meet my cats and get a basic run down on their needs. About: I am committed to only offering the best care and comfort to your pets. Right from starting as a pet sitter, I’ve taken care of a senior dog with issues like incontinence, and adhering to a schedule that fits his needs best. I have experience in administering medication and using a diaper wrap to fit his needs at night. Requirements like this do not throw me off of offering your pet the best love and care a sitter can give. I am a college student during the week, so my main pet-sitting hours will be open during weekends, unless there’s a visit after 1:00pm that comes my way. I’m mostly active between Honesdale, Waymart, and Scranton. When visiting a client’s home for pet care, I always make sure the pet is comfortable and no one (especially cats) move or knock over objects that can disrupt the functionality of the home. I have grown up with both dogs & cats & am always the one friends/family call when they are in need of someone to watch their babies. I truly just love animals of all varieties. I work from home & am able to stay with your pets while you are out of town or at work yourself. I can check in on them during the day, take them for walks, & ensure they are fed and well loved. About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I was the little kid that visited the neighbors just to see their dogs. I have dog sat on many occasions. I am very detail oriented and love abiding by schedules. I do not mind the size of the dog either. The more dogs you have the better. I will gladly meet the dog(s) beforehand to see if they are comfortable with me. Other pets are also welcome too! The most animals I have watched at one time was three dogs and one cat. I am not opposed to light cleaning for the animals when necessary. Any routines you have for feeding or walking will always be followed. If you have any questions please ask me. My strong admiration for animals has only grown more with the more animals I meet and as a result, it brings me genuine happiness. Since starting Rover in August 21’, I’ve had 10+ repeat clients and have established great friendships with families/people in the community as a result. I have a M-F teaching position 8am-4pm and summer months off. I am currently a part time Binghamton University graduate student studying for a masters degree in early childhood special education. A little history: I grew up with a miniature schnauzer (Zoie) whom towards the end of her life, needed constant supervision and was administered medicine 3x/ day, grooming/washing daily. I was always there to comfort her until the end of her life and spoiled her beyond belief. Myself and my family provided care to my mini schnauzer for over 12 years. As a child, I never had a dog sitter to send updates, pictures/videos for my sweet Zoie when my family would travel, so I strongly understand the importance of quick and reliable communication/sending updates while you’re away to ease your anxiety. Experience - administering medicine/injections - cats, big dogs, small dogs, senior animals, special needs pets, pigs, cows, chickens. -exercise/run with your pet -hospice/end of life care (Repositioning every hour, hand feeding, massages, cooking packs, frozen bone broth snacks on warmer days, the list goes on) Pets and animals deserve to be spoiled but most importantly, they deserve to be loved. I have a white pitbull fur baby (Minnie). Shes a loyal, sweet and well behaved dog, I’m so lucky and thankful for her every day as she brings me so much happiness. She stays at home with her other best friend, my significant other while I’m away.
