About: I have been caring for animals for most of my life, growing up on a dairy farm where I was responsible for the daily care of a variety of animals. This experience taught me the importance of consistency, patience, and attention to detail when caring for pets. In addition to my farm background, I have extensive experience caring for dogs and cats for family, friends, and neighbors while they are away. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to provide pets with a safe, comfortable, and loving environment while their owners are gone. About: Having been around animals my entire life, I recognize that every pet has their own special personality. Sometimes, beautiful personalities require more attention, love, or patience than others. Every pet I have owned has been rescued in some form or another, whether from a shelter or right off of the street, and each one has brought their own challenges, but also their own beautiful ways of showing love. I have no problem with jumpy, hyper, or "mouthy" pets, or any other behaviors that might be deemed "problematic". My life with all sorts of animals has allowed me to gain valuable skills, including being comfortable around pets of all sizes and shapes, handling "pushy" behaviors, and caring for senior pets with specific health issues. Allow me to offer a loving hand when yours is not available. While I do work full-time, my schedule outside of the office and ability to travel allows me the flexibility to accommodate for any pet's needs. My number-one priority has always been safety. I've worked in professional environments with animals, such farms and shelters, and carry with me the valuable lessons I gained from those jobs.

About: Growing up in the countryside in France, I have had pets since I was a little child. From dogs, and cats, to bunnies, turtles, chickens, and goldfish, I have taken care of different kinds of animals throughout my life. And I love it! Having animals around brings joy in my life but also in the life of my husband and my children. My husband had even more pets than me. I could almost say that he was born in a manger with animals around ;) He had many dogs, cats, sheep, and even a parrot growing up. At one point, when he was a teenager he had about 10 dogs, and 5 cats. Since we got married we have moved a lot. While living in St Maarten we had 2 cats and a turtle, and when we moved to Guyana, we had 4 dogs (without counting taking care of the 8 dogs and 1 cat from my husband's parents house). We also trained our dogs to sit and wait before eating. Our children love pets and are very caring. We came back to the US a few years ago and we have been around pets frequently from our friends house. We would love to have a dog and a cat but we like to go away as a family from time to time, and therefore we decided that we would care for other people's animals. I am a work-at-home and homeschooling mom, and my husband has his own marketing company with plenty of flexibility. We are therefore available to accommodate pets at our home for a few days to several weeks. We also have plenty of yard space to walk dogs, and a good space in our house so that any pet can find comfort. I am very flexible. I am home most of the time and my husband has a flexible schedule as well. We can accommodate pets for a few days to several weeks. We are also open to going to people's places and checking on their pets, feeding them, and walking them if needed. We usually do pet boarding which means that people bring their pets by us, but we have also done pet sitting and have gone to other people's places to care for their pets. Due to our experience and our love for animals, it is so natural for us to care for them by playing with them, feeding them at appropriate times, cleaning them if needed, hugging them if they are comfortable, even giving medication if needed, and making sure they are safe and happy overall.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I was the little kid that visited the neighbors just to see their dogs. I have dog sat on many occasions. I am very detail oriented and love abiding by schedules. I do not mind the size of the dog either. The more dogs you have the better. I will gladly meet the dog(s) beforehand to see if they are comfortable with me. Other pets are also welcome too! The most animals I have watched at one time was three dogs and one cat. I am not opposed to light cleaning for the animals when necessary. Any routines you have for feeding or walking will always be followed. If you have any questions please ask me. About: I’ve taken care of many dogs in my neighborhood. Various tasks such as, dog sitting full time, or just taking on a short walk and feeding dinner. I’m a full time student, but I have a lot of free time in my schedule during the week and weekends. I love all dogs and work very well with them! I do not have the space to care for dogs, but I am comfortable in other owners homes, and I am very comfortable with any dog that I meet.

About: I currently have 2 dogs + 4 cats! I love them and care for them like they are my babies. I always make sure I keep them stimulated and happy to ensure a healthy and loving life. I am super flexible and can help you with anything! My dogs are very dog friendly and loving to almost all other dogs. They are very socialized to other dogs and cats. I can walk your dog, let them out, or you can drop them off at my house for daycare or meet me to exchange them as well! If your dog isn't dog friendly I would be happy to keep them separate and comfortable! I have a fence for the dogs to run around and play. I also have ties outs for the dogs as well. We live in a wooded neighborhood on a dirt road that is super quiet!

About: Hi, Everyone! My name is Cara. Thank you for visiting my page. My strong admiration for animals has only grown more with the more animals I meet and as a result, it brings me genuine happiness. It is a rewarding experience to be able to take care of any animal that needs it while their owner is away. Since starting Rover in August 21’, I’ve had 10+ repeat clients and have established great friendships with families/people in the community as a result. I have a M-F teaching position 8am-4pm and summer months off. I am currently a part time Binghamton University graduate student studying for a masters degree in early childhood special education. A little history: I grew up with a miniature schnauzer (Zoie) whom towards the end of her life, needed constant supervision and was administered medicine 3x/ day, grooming/washing daily. I was always there to comfort her until the end of her life and spoiled her beyond belief. Myself and my family provided care to my mini schnauzer for over 12 years. As a child, I never had a dog sitter to send updates, pictures/videos for my sweet Zoie when my family would travel, so I strongly understand the importance of quick and reliable communication/sending updates while you’re away to ease your anxiety. Experience - administering medicine/injections - cats, big dogs, small dogs, senior animals, special needs pets, pigs, cows, chickens. -exercise/run with your pet -hospice/end of life care (Repositioning every hour, hand feeding, massages, cooking packs, frozen bone broth snacks on warmer days, the list goes on) Pets and animals deserve to be spoiled but most importantly, they deserve to be loved. I have a white pitbull fur baby (Minnie). Shes a loyal, sweet and well behaved dog, I’m so lucky and thankful for her every day as she brings me so much happiness.
