About: I have been caring for animals for most of my life, growing up on a dairy farm where I was responsible for the daily care of a variety of animals. This experience taught me the importance of consistency, patience, and attention to detail when caring for pets. In addition to my farm background, I have extensive experience caring for dogs and cats for family, friends, and neighbors while they are away. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to provide pets with a safe, comfortable, and loving environment while their owners are gone. Whether it's feeding, walking, playtime, administering basic medications, or simply providing companionship, I treat every pet as if they were my own. Our Nala is a "skittish cat" to begin with and hides all the time so we told Joanne you probably won't see her but we really do have a cat ?. She took the time to sing to her, look for her and truly cared for her every need. She sent us her report every day with a picture of food dishes, a fake cat pillow and finally she caught her. Through her wit and " shenanigans" lol she was able to get a picture of Nala. We laughed for hours and it made us feel so at ease and we knew Nala had met her match. I highly recommend Joanne and as I said before... She is the best of the best!”

About: Having been around animals my entire life, I recognize that every pet has their own special personality. Sometimes, beautiful personalities require more attention, love, or patience than others. Every pet I have owned has been rescued in some form or another, whether from a shelter or right off of the street, and each one has brought their own challenges, but also their own beautiful ways of showing love. I have no problem with jumpy, hyper, or "mouthy" pets, or any other behaviors that might be deemed "problematic". My life with all sorts of animals has allowed me to gain valuable skills, including being comfortable around pets of all sizes and shapes, handling "pushy" behaviors, and caring for senior pets with specific health issues. Allow me to offer a loving hand when yours is not available. While I do work full-time, my schedule outside of the office and ability to travel allows me the flexibility to accommodate for any pet's needs. My number-one priority has always been safety. I've worked in professional environments with animals, such farms and shelters, and carry with me the valuable lessons I gained from those jobs.

About: I have been around dogs my whole life. I was the little kid that visited the neighbors just to see their dogs. I have dog sat on many occasions. I am very detail oriented and love abiding by schedules. I do not mind the size of the dog either. The more dogs you have the better. I will gladly meet the dog(s) beforehand to see if they are comfortable with me. Other pets are also welcome too! The most animals I have watched at one time was three dogs and one cat. I am not opposed to light cleaning for the animals when necessary. Any routines you have for feeding or walking will always be followed. If you have any questions please ask me. Weekday stays for return pups on a familiarity basis. Boarding is one guest per stay unless in same family. Boarding will be one on one supervision. Fenced in yard In ground pool Dogs have own king bed with snoopy blankets. Walks on many trails next to house. Rides available. My dogs get pupacinnos, pup cups, donuts, etc. Will follow your pets food, sleep, walk, and med schedules. Do walking is the route you select for your pet in your neighborhood or dog park.

My strong admiration for animals has only grown more with the more animals I meet and as a result, it brings me genuine happiness. It is a rewarding experience to be able to take care of any animal that needs it while their owner is away. Since starting Rover in August 21’, I’ve had 10+ repeat clients and have established great friendships with families/people in the community as a result. I have a M-F teaching position 8am-4pm and summer months off. I am currently a part time Binghamton University graduate student studying for a masters degree in early childhood special education. A little history: I grew up with a miniature schnauzer (Zoie) whom towards the end of her life, needed constant supervision and was administered medicine 3x/ day, grooming/washing daily. I was always there to comfort her until the end of her life and spoiled her beyond belief. Myself and my family provided care to my mini schnauzer for over 12 years. As a child, I never had a dog sitter to send updates, pictures/videos for my sweet Zoie when my family would travel, so I strongly understand the importance of quick and reliable communication/sending updates while you’re away to ease your anxiety. Experience - administering medicine/injections - cats, big dogs, small dogs, senior animals, special needs pets, pigs, cows, chickens. -exercise/run with your pet -hospice/end of life care (Repositioning every hour, hand feeding, massages, cooking packs, frozen bone broth snacks on warmer days, the list goes on) Pets and animals deserve to be spoiled but most importantly, they deserve to be loved.
