I am generally available in the evenings, on weekends, and during select weekdays depending on my schedule. I do my best to be flexible and accommodate the needs of both pets and their owners whenever possible. It is also helpful to know how they interact with other animals and people, whether they have any fears, anxieties, or triggers, and if there are any behaviors I should be aware of. I have a friendly dog of my own, so it is important that your pet is comfortable around other dogs and can interact safely in a shared environment. Please let me know if your pet has lived with or regularly socialized with other dogs, as well as any preferences they may have regarding play, space, or introductions. Because I work full-time during weekdays, it is important that pets are comfortable being home alone during a typical workday and do not require frequent potty breaks or constant supervision. My goal is to provide a safe, comfortable, and stress-free experience for both you and your pet, and having this information ahead of time helps me provide the best possible care.
A typical day
On weekdays, I work full-time during the day, making me a great fit for pets who are already accustomed to their owners' work schedules and can comfortably spend time resting at home during business hours. My mornings and evenings are dedicated to pet care, including walks, feeding, playtime, potty breaks, and plenty of attention and affection. When I am home, I enjoy spending quality time with pets through walks, outdoor activities, play sessions, or simply relaxing together. On weekends, I have additional flexibility to provide even more one-on-one attention, exercise, and enrichment. I understand that every pet has different needs and routines, and I will do my best to maintain their normal schedule while keeping you updated with photos and messages throughout their stay.

I have been caring for animals for most of my life, growing up on a dairy farm where I was responsible for the daily care of a variety of animals. This experience taught me the importance of consistency, patience, and attention to detail when caring for pets. In addition to my farm background, I have extensive experience caring for dogs and cats for family, friends, and neighbors while they are away. As a pet owner myself, I understand how important it is to provide pets with a safe, comfortable, and loving environment while their owners are gone. Whether it's feeding, walking, playtime, administering basic medications, or simply providing companionship, I treat every pet as if they were my own. I am committed to following each pet's routine and ensuring they receive the care, attention, and affection they deserve.

Carrie grew up caring for small and large animals. She knows all about the hard work that goes into the day to day care of our pets and also has the huge heart to love all kinds of animals. Her grandparents farm was where she spent most her time as a kid. That's how she feel in love with animals and developed a great work ethic. She also spent 13 years as a 4-H member which taught her about all animals through pet care, animal science and hands on clinics. Hiring Carrie is an excellent decision!
