About: Experience with small and large birds, cats and multiple dog breeds. We are a family of four who love animals of all kinds. I’m Amanda, the daughter of a pet store owner and animal advocate. I grew up with dogs, cats and many exotic animals in my home. Pat, dad to our velcro kitty has experience with large dogs. We have two daughters. A teenager and an almost teenager. Both share the same passion for animals that we do and have experience in dog training. We share our home with Ruby, our tiny toy poodle with a big personality, Mavis and Shadow, rescue cats who love to eat and relax in a sunny window and Luna the lovebird who loves to play peek-a-boo. One of us is home all day Thursday-Sunday so there is plenty of time to dedicate to cuddles, enrichment and exercise! Monday- Wednesday can be arranged with a bit of notice. Our pets are well loved and spoiled. We’d love to spoil your babies too! Our yard is unfenced, so dogs will be on leashes or on a run when outside. Comfortable with crating, gating or free range of the house. There is plenty of room for everyone to have space separately or together. Happy to do drop-ins for walks, feeding or playtime!

About: Growing up on a farm, I’ve been working with animals for as long as I can remember! From hamsters to horses - I’ve cared for nearly any animal you can think of. I attended Norfolk Aggie, majoring in Animal Science. Since then, I’ve worked as a vet tech, groomer, and trainer. I currently work as a barn assistant and show photographer (yes, I’m happy to snap some cute pics!) Training is a massive aspect of pet care. It’s important to have a sitter that understands your goals, reinforces correct behaviors, and constantly works to improve. Aside from training, having expertise in many areas of pet care, along with having experience with many different species, breeds, and personality types allows me to confidently handle any situation. Not only do I offer top notch care - I’m a huge communicator! I send lots of updates and adorable photos. When booking with me, you will never have to worry or wonder what your pets are up to (Check in as often as you want! I encourage it!) I also offer bathing & nail trims! He has chickens but knew how to keep our retriever in check so she didn't think they were dinner. He sent pictures daily and was available to answer any question I had. I loved that our girl got to spend so much time off leash just being a dog!”
