About: Animals have been the heart of my home since I was a child. Growing up with Labs, German Shepherds, and Mastiffs taught me how to be a confident leader and a compassionate caregiver. Today, my black cat Squirt is my best friend, and that same love I have for him is what I bring to every pet I sit for. ​I pride myself on being a trustworthy and caring sitter. When you leave your pets with me, you can rest easy knowing they are in the hands of someone who genuinely loves their company. I am happy to accommodate different sizes, energy levels, and personalities—I simply love being around animals and making sure they feel safe and loved while their owners are away. As a working-from-home mom, my days are rooted in a reliable routine. This allows me to provide the consistent, low-stress supervision that is so helpful for all animals who need a little extra help and those who require a patient, intuitive touch to feel at home. I have experience caring for a wide range of needs and species—from the high energy of puppies to the quiet companionship of seniors, the unique needs of rescues, and even farm friends like chickens. If for some reason (vacations/getaways) we are unavailable it will be marked on the calendar. I do my best to confirm my calendar and availability daily. Our front and back yard is fenced in and we are set back from the road. There is plenty of room to run and play. As for feeding; All dogs and/or cats will be fed separately. This includes treats.

About: Ever since I was young, I have had a strong love for animals, especially dogs. I grew up surrounded by dogs and currently have two of my own. Over the years, I have pet-sat for neighbors and friends, and I always enjoy caring for and spending time with their pets. At college I am part of a club where we work with and volunteer at the local animal shelters. There are photos on my profile that highlight some of the events on campus I have volunteered at to raise money for the puppies at the local animal shelter. I do also have experience with horses. Due to his mellow, peaceful nature, Sunny is an especially apt playmate and partner for young puppies, first-time boarders, seniors, and cats. I’m also available to brush out and feed your horses while you’re out of town. I work remotely, and am fully available to care for your dog and/or cat. I can accommodate early risers (starting from 6am) to late bloomers (your pup can sleep in until 10am!). Every weekend, I take Sunny and any visiting pups to the Salisbury Community Dog Park in CT. I live in a spacious, clean three-story home in Amenia. Your pup or cat is welcome to the couch. I rarely watch TV, so the space is nice and quiet. We have a spacious (unfenced) backyard, so I’m happy to walk dogs out there, but never without a leash. For any first-time cat visitors who might be a bit timid, I have a quiet guest bedroom with a comfy bed — he or she can call it their private room as they acclimate to their new surroundings. 👑😊

About: I’ve loved animals for as long as I can remember. I rescued my first dog from the local humane society when I was 11, and that experience started a lifelong passion for caring for animals. Before becoming a nurse, I worked as a veterinary assistant for two local animal hospitals where I gained valuable hands-on experience with animal care and handling. I developed skills in basic training, puppy socialization, reading animal body language, medication administration, subcutaneous fluids, nail trimming, grooming, and bathing. I also volunteered for several years with a local dog rescue as a foster, helping provide temporary homes, structure, and love for dogs before their adoptions. Many needed socialization, basic training, and a calm environment to help them thrive. I later served as the rescue’s foster and event coordinator until 2020. Today I share my home with three of my own beloved dogs. One of our previous dogs had epilepsy and required frequent monitoring and medication, which gave me additional experience caring for pets with medical needs. In my free time I enjoy traveling, camping, hiking with my dogs, training with our Belgian Malinois, and watching my daughter ride her horse. Caring for animals has always been a true passion of mine, and I treat every pet as if they were my own. My goal is for you to have complete peace of mind knowing your pets are safe, loved, and well cared for while you’re away. I’m a nurse who works three 12-hour shifts each week, which gives me several days off to dedicate to caring for animals. I truly enjoy spending time with pets and making sure they feel comfortable, safe, and well cared for while their owners are away. About: I live with three cats and a dog, but I love all kinds of pets. I used to volunteer at the Kansas Humane Society to get even more time to play with cats and dogs. I grew up having cats, dogs, bunnies, and horses for as long as I can remember. I have been dog sitting to supplement my income, at times almost full time, for about four years now. About: I have had a variety of animals throughout my life. Dogs, cats, reptiles(even an alligator at one point). I currently have 4 snakes as well. I currently work 12 hour shifts on Thursday and Friday. Monday, Tuesday, and Wednesday day are pretty open now. We can certainly discuss time frames that work for both of us I request that if there are any special instructions for your pet, that you have them written out for me. We have a spacious, safe property with fenced areas for play and exercise, and we keep routines consistent with what each pet is used to, including feeding schedules, walks, and downtime. Since my wife and I both work from home most of the week, someone is almost always here to give attention and care.
