“Amazing service. She came out to meet my dog prior to the first walk I booked, and was very polite. professional, and thorough with her questions. I felt very confident in her abilities- and let’s be real, we are all a little nervous leaving our pets in the care of strangers, especially for the first time. She was also very flexible when some last minute things popped up and I needed her help with the pup on very short notice. 10/10.”

“Brittany is an excellent dog walker who always shows up on time always provides excellent updates and photos of my dog. I am very happy with her excellent service and would highly recommend her.”

About: I have taken care of dogs of every kind from old to young since I was little. I have watched family dogs, and friends dogs both in the comfort of my own home and gone to spend the night at their houses. I’ve also trained my own dogs throughout the years, including potty training, simple commands, and crate training. I am currently working part-time at my job and stay home with my son. I am mainly home except for the weekends. And on the weekends, my husband will be home to help out. I have a fenced in yard and currently only have one dog of my own who is super friendly and very energetic so she will exercise your dog in our front yard. She loves to cuddle and she is crate trained. I also have an extra crate in case dogs need to be created for whatever reason.
About: I’ve loved animals my whole life and knew I always wanted to work with them. I’ve always cared for the pets I had growing up which included dogs, cats and guinea pigs! I then started watching friends and family members dogs and cats when they were away. One of my first jobs was at a boarding facility where I cared for and walked dogs! I have a flexible schedule due to the fact that I am home everyday caring for my 2 year old son! I would love to bring him along for walks and drop ins! My dog gets walked everyday followed by a relaxing rest stop by the river in our backyard! We love to be outdoors as much as possible!

About: Hi, I’m Katelynn! I have 2 years of experience working as a veterinary assistant, where I became comfortable caring for animals with patience, attention to detail, and a calm approach. I also regularly watched my neighbor’s dog from 2015 until 2018, giving me hands-on experience with feeding, walks, playtime, companionship, and keeping a pet safe and comfortable while their owner was away. I know how much pets mean to their families, and I take that responsibility seriously. I’m gentle, reliable, and attentive, especially with pets who may be nervous, shy, older, or need a little extra patience. I will treat your pet like part of the family and keep you updated so you know they are safe and cared for. I have plenty of availability for pet care, especially during the summer. Since I do not drive, I am best suited for local walks, nearby drop-in visits, or care where the owner can handle drop-off and pick-up. I’m happy to spend time playing, walking, feeding, and keeping your pet company while following their normal routine as closely as possible. Alternatively, my husband can drop me off and pick me up. I care for pets with patience, attention, and respect for their routine. I have 2 years of experience as a veterinary assistant, so I understand how important safety, clear instructions, and careful observation are. I also regularly watched my neighbor’s dog from 2015 to 2018, which gave me hands-on experience with feeding, walks, playtime, and companionship. In a client’s home, I will follow all instructions for feeding, potty breaks, walks, medications if discussed ahead of time, and household rules. I will make sure doors, gates, leashes, and crates are secure, and I will send updates so owners know their pet is safe and cared for. I’m especially patient with shy, nervous, senior, or sensitive pets.
About: I’m lucky enough to have an open schedule, which means your pet will get my full, undivided attention without being left alone for long stretches of time. I’ve taken care of a little bit of everything - dogs, cats, and even guinea pigs - so I’m really comfortable adapting to whatever unique routine your animal needs. My love playing with animals, chilling with them, and just watching them do what they do. One of my biggest strengths is working with pets who are on the shy or anxious side. I know how stressful it can be for them when their owners are away, so I’m incredibly patient. I know how to read their body language, give them the space they need, and just let them open up to me at their own pace until they feel completely safe. I am currently on summer break from college and take care of my own dogs at home. I make sure to give them everything they need from walks to play to just sitting around together. My main priority is keeping a constant eye on your pet and sticking as close to their normal routine as possible. Whether I'm staying at your place or visiting, your pet won't be left alone for long stretches, which really helps prevent separation anxiety. While I'm in a client's home, I will treat it with total respect and keep everything secure. I will make sure that all doors and gates are locked securely every time I leave your home, and I always keep dogs on a leash during walks. Because I have experience with everything from energetic dogs and cats to smaller pets like guinea pigs, I’m very aware of safety and choking hazards, like making sure small items or dangerous foods are out of reach.
“I just used Kristine to walk my dogs this week since my husband had to travel for work. She is super sweet and even did a meet and greet prior with me and the pups. She took great care of my dogs and when needed, I will most definitely book her again!”

About: I have always had a dog in my life for 20 years, and it makes me so happy! I love meeting new dogs and being able to play and care for them. I’m currently working part-time while also taking summer college courses, but have some extra time that I would love to dedicate to a loving dog! I like to take my own dog on walks (even though he chooses the path) and love to give him baths. I’ve taken care of other dogs before through friends.
About: I’m the go-to pet sitter for my friends and family! I’m a proud mom to a 20-year-old cat and an aunt to many other beloved pets. I love going on long walks, so let me know if your pet would enjoy coming along! I work from home and make my own schedule so I have tons of flexibility. I like to take long walks in the evenings and would love some company! I have a 20 year old kitten named Wilbur who is the sweetest. I understand that pets are more than just pets, they’re part of the family, and deserve to be treated as a family member. I also understand the importance of being reassured your baby is loved and well taken care of in your absence and will follow all provided instructions and guidance.
About: I have over 25 years of experience watch dogs. The last two years I have been working with the See Eye Foundation as a Puppy Sitter. I sit for puppies 8 weeks to 13 years old, for a single day to over a week. I also have a 12 year-old English Fox Hound that likes to take me on walks/runs daily I am currently retired and this leave me plenty of time to take care of your dog. I am an avid runner and cyclist, so walking or even running with your dog is not a problem I do not have a fenced yard, but I have a 3-acre property where dogs can roam and run. I do have a 120 foot leash that lets the dogs run without fear of them running away. If your dog likes to play fetch or just do a lot of exploring, the yard is ideal for them. I am also available to do multiple daily check ins and walks if the dog prefers to stay at home.
About: Growing up I took care of my families Great Danes, walking them several times a day. I love all dogs and would love some puppy time! I have Weekend availability and weekday availability after my 9-5. Willing to work whatever works best for customers within the confines of my scheduled day job. My cats always have clean water, food, and clean litter boxes. Plenty of toys for stimulation! I treat everyone’s pet with the care like they are my own.

About: I’ve always had pets as a kid, and the same as an adult! It’s a privilege to be able to care for my own “babies” and others ❤️ I have two cats and a dog, so my days are quite pet-oriented. The cats need a little less care than my dog, but they all get loved equally 🥰 I treat my animals extremely well, and other pets I treat like my own! All animals are important to love and care for, big or small 😇
About: I’ve cared for dogs of every breed, size, and energy level—from anxious rescues to giant goofballs. As a current volunteer at ACCT Philly, I work hands-on with all types of dogs daily, focusing on leash control, confidence-building, and reading body language. Friends and neighbors regularly trust me for overnight stays, multi-dog households, and high-energy pups because I stay calm, structured, and patient no matter what. I’m comfortable with puppy routines, senior care, and special diets, and I always make sure every dog gets the perfect mix of play, structure, and comfort. Whether it’s a jog around the block, a slow senior stroll, or bedtime snuggles—I tailor my care to your dog’s needs, not a one-size-fits-all plan. Pet care easily fits into my weekly routine. My schedule is flexible for walks, drop-ins, or overnights, and I make sure every pet gets consistent attention, playtime, and care. Whether it’s early mornings, lunch breaks, or evening cuddles, I’ll build my day around your pet’s routine. Safety and comfort always come first. In my home or yours, I make sure pets have a calm, clean, and secure space to relax and play. I follow each pet’s routine closely—feeding, walks, medications, and boundaries—so they feel right at home. I keep a close eye on body language and behavior to ensure they’re happy and stress-free, and I always send photo updates so you can see how well they’re doing. Whether it’s cats curling up for quiet time or dogs burning off energy, I create a safe, loving environment built on trust.
About: Hi! I’m 30 and I have been pet sitting on Rover for over three years for dogs and cats of all ages and needs. I may be petite but don’t be fooled! I am an aerialist in my spare time, and so I have a lot of upper body strength and can handle large, strong dogs as well as high energy dogs who need long, brisk walks for proper exercise. I have experience with older pets and am comfortable administering medications. Let me know if you would like me to water plants, turn on/off lights, or any other tasks while you are away. Whether you need an extra walk for a feisty pooch, care during your family vacation, or long-term assistance, feel free to contact me for a meet and greet. During COVID era, your comfort is of upmost importance. Please let me know if you would like me to wear a mask indoors, wipe down door handles, etc. to ensure your safety. I work full-time in the animal welfare field, so I am most available for weekend and long weekend pet sitting. I can do occasional weekday walks as well. Safety and mental wellbeing are my top priorities. I always make sure dogs are leashed before going out the door and avoid other dogs and people during walks, just to be safe.
“Vanessa has walked our crazy golden retriever twice now, and she is every bit as energetic as he is! When she came to the door, Cooper recognized her immediately and wiggled and squirmed with happiness. I highly recommend Vanessa and would give more stars if I could!”

Dog parents share their Rover experiences - Washington
Genuinely cannot give anything but the highest recommendations. We needed a dog walker unexpectedly on New Year's Eve, and Lauren not only responded to the booking request quickly, she accepted it even though she's never had us as clients or even met us. Her communication is clear, quick, helpful and even though I was a little scattered during the handoff she handled everything professionally and with flexibility. Seriously couldn't have had a better experience.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy.
