From energetic puppies to senior pets who need extra patience and care, I always tailor my approach to each animal’s needs. Friends, family, and neighbors have trusted me to walk, feed, play with, bathe, and provide companionship to their pets while they’re away. I’m attentive, responsible, and truly love animals. Your pet’s comfort, safety, and happiness are always my top priorities. I’m currently a stay at home dog/cat Mom while my Wife travels for work. I have plenty of time daily and weekly caring for your pets if you let me know ahead of time. I follow clients instructions on what is needed. I treat my clients pets as if they were my own. About: I love animals so much I want to become a veterinarian. I have cared for animals before and have had some of my own. I am just hoping to get as much experience as possible. I am a full time college student and I have some free time after class and on weekends. I love going on walks and lounging around the house. I would enjoy the company of a furry friend to do these things. I have a decent sized home and a good fenced yard for them to roam around in. My house would be their home, they would be free to do as lay around as they please.

About: Desert Dog Boss: Your Pup’s New Bestie 🐾✨ I’m not your average sitter—I’m the dude who gets it. Grew up with mutts, raised pups on a ranch, and I’ve got that “one look and I know he’s hangry” radar. • Tail-wags only. I play fetch like a pro, cuddle like a teddy bear, and walk ’em till they flop—twice a day, no excuses. 🏃‍♂️💨 • Phoenix heat? Handled. Shaded yard, AC on blast, ice water, zero sunburn drama. 🌵❄️ • Meds, diets, crate anxiety? I got your back—treats and belly rubs included. 🍖🤝 • Bonus: I talk to ‘em. They think I’m hilarious. (They might be right.) 😂 10+ years of real fur-daddy duties—your dog comes back wagging harder than when you left. Book me. I’ll make ‘em forget you’re gone.
And yeah—you’ll get pics. Lots of pics. 📸 Desert Dog Boss: Your Pup’s 24/7 Command Center 🐾💻✨ I don’t “do” pet care—I live it. Work-from-home? Hell yeah—my office is wherever your dog needs me. No commute, no clock-out—just me, treats 🍖, and zero excuses 😏. • Your spot or mine: I’ll roll up with laptop 💻, toys 🧸, and bad puns—turn your couch into HQ. Bigger yard? Better AC? We go there. Zero extra charge 🚫💰. • 24/7 locked in: Mornings—breakfast & zoomies 🏃‍♂️🐶. Afternoons—fetch & naps 😴. Nights—last walk & bedtime whispers 🌙. Weekends? Extra playtime 🔥. • Meds 💊, diets 🍎, crates 🏠? Nailed it. Phoenix heat? Crushed 🌵❄️. Your pup comes back wagging like I owe him cash 🤑. • Bonus: I text pics 📸, voice notes 🎙️, and laugh at their zoomies—because they’re funnier than you. Book me. Your dog gets VIP treatment. You get peace. And I get… well, more dog time. Win-win. 🐕‍🦺❤️ How I Care for Your Pets – My Place or Yours 🏡🐾 • At my spot: Fully fenced yard 🌳, AC blasting ❄️, fresh water always full 💦. I’ve got one laid-back cat I crate and tuck away in my room—no drama, zero claws on your pup. If your dog needs a break, I’ll crate ‘em too—cozy, calm, custom. Walks twice a day, playtime till they flop 😴, bedtime cuddles if they’re into it. • At your place: Zero move—I’ll bring treats 🍖, toys 🧸, laptop 💻, and adapt to your setup. Use your yard, couch, routine. Quiet, clean, no mess. Either way: Your dog gets loved, walked, and comes home wagging like he won the lottery 🤑. Crating? Handled. Heat? Crushed. You get pics 📸 and zero stress. Book me—I’m your desert dog sitter, not a zoo.

About: Growing up on a farm, I have cared for animals my whole life. I have a keen eye on when an animal is not acting normal, and am quick to act. Anytime during the day is fine. I do have another job that requires be to be there at 5pm, but anytime around that frame I am good to go! I am willing to accommodate any type of living situation or guidelines your dog may have. As an owner of two dogs and a cat myself, I am more than happy to do whatever is needed.

About: edit: slightly raised my overnight and walking rates. if you were a repeat customer before this change I can continue to honour my original prices if you wish. I'm a long time dog lover and lover of animals in general. Over the years I've lived in places or have visited places that have had dogs and I always get along great with them. My current job allows me to come into contact with several dogs on a daily/nightly basis and they always seem to flock to me. I'm an avid walker too so to be able to help someone with the walking of their own furry family member would be a great joy. I spend a lot of time alone and getting to spend some of that with someone's dog even for a couple hours I'm sure will benefit all of us greatly. I think I could be a great help to you all. Prices are negotiable!

About: I have been pet sitting for 3 years now and I just have a love for all kinds of animals. From a tiny little fish to a big ol pig. I have a 2 year old Aussie, 14 year old pug, 8 year old boxer, and a 12 year old Maltese. I have plenty of experience with young and older dogs and different types of breeds. I also used to work at a dog boarding place called “Critter Camp” with that I have experience with giving dogs medication, picking up accidents, and much more. I have a pretty much free schedule. I work Tuesday, Thursday, Friday’s from 10-5. I can leave during my lunch break to let your fur babies out to go potty. I have an early class on Monday and Wednesdays from 9-10:15 until mid May. After that, I’m completely free. I will feed them in your timely manor, let them out as much as possible, play with them, love on them, and if something were to happen I’d call one of the numbers you’d give me in case of emergency.

About: I understand that leaving your fur baby in the care of someone else can be nerve racking, please know that I promise to love and take care of your animal like they’re my own for our time together. I’ve consistently had dogs and cats my entire life, and love working with any kind of animal. I pet sit regularly for friends and family, and I have old neighbors/ friends who still ask me to come clip their dogs nails or bathe them. I work well with puppies and senior dogs as I have one of each of my own. I’m also very good with blind or deaf dogs. I’m working part time as a server right now so I’m available to hang and cuddle with your pets anytime after 3 pm! (Thursday- Saturday) I’m available to walk your pup or drop in and visit them anytime from 6am to 11am and 3pm to 10pm! (Sunday - Thursday) I’m available to walk or drop in and visit any time of day on Fridays and Saturdays! :) I will follow all directions left the owner when it comes to caring for their dog in their home. I will be incredibly respectful of your space and leave it exactly as I found it. When walking your pup their safety is my number one concern! I promise to make sure they don’t find anything that could possibly hurt them or let them be away from me at any point in time. At any point in time you will be able to contact me for an update, and I’ll automatically provide updates throughout my time with your animals just to ease your mind!

About: I have been taking care of animals for over 35 years. Everything from dogs, cats, chickens, fish, birds, cattle, horses.... you name it, I love them all! I am experienced with senior animals as well as giving them medication and special attention. I am available for early morning, lunch and evening walks and pet care throughout the weekdays and full-time availability on weekends. Please don't hesitate to contact with any requests. My schedule is pretty flexible. I have 3 large dogs now who love being a part of anything I’m doing. Indoors, outdoors, rain or shine, they are a part of the family in every way they can be. They all have totally different personalities, just like kids, and all have their unique traits. Two of them are rescues, that I’ve had since they were 4 weeks old. I am also very familiar with cats and farm animals from helping my family and family friends growing up and through college and beyond. I would care for your fur baby like it's my own.

About: My 15 years as a dog owner has taught me they are family too. I will treat your dog, cat, or any other animal as if they were my family. I have always known to be good with dogs because of my kindness, patience, and neck massages. I will care for babies, the elderly, and large breeds. I have returned to college as a full-time student and drive for Lyft part-time. So, I have plenty of time to watch, visit, or board. My home is spacious, with a fenced-backed yard. I have a doggy camera if you like to check on them. I also have 2 small dogs and kids that will keep your pet company. When they come to my house they will be extra taken care of using love and affection.

About: I have been owning dogs in my household for my whole life, I really starting learning how to properly care for them when I was about 8. When I was a kid we fostered puppies so I also have experience with puppies. I have also worked at a Veterinary Hospital for 2 years and have certainly gained a lot of experience working there as well. I am available anytime between my classes as I am a college student. I know how to properly hold a dog, how to walk the dog when it is rambunctious, and even how to administer medication including insulin. I love animals and will do everything I can to make sure your dog is healthy and getting the care it needs. The days I am available are my days off of work so I will be available anytime on those days. Days I am unavailable are when I am working my full-time job. I am great at walking dogs and know all about pet emergencies in case anything were to happen. I can play with your pup, feed them on schedule, administer medication. Whatever is needed to make you and your pets day easier!

FAQs for Dog Walking - Washburn

Frequently asked questions about Rover

As of June 2026, there are 138 sitters on Rover offering Dog Walking across Washburn. Enter your ZIP code to see which available sitters are closest to your home.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Washburn. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Washburn.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find sitters who have experience administering medication or managing dietary requirements. You can also find pet sitters who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and request a Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
