About: I have had big dogs in the home since I was born and took on the responsibility of caring for them around 8. I have experience with all ages dogs and can administer medication if necessary. Pet care is a natural part of my everyday life. I’m currently working toward a second degree and commute to Springfield daily for classes, but I always make time to care for my cats at home. Having grown up with dogs, I understand the importance of consistency, attention, and companionship in a pet’s routine. My schedule is structured, and I’m used to balancing responsibilities—so I bring that same reliability and care to the pets I look after. Whether it’s keeping them company, making sure they feel safe, or just spending quality time, I treat every pet. I am very patient and respectful with all animals and the spaces I care for them in. I and careful to return leave the space as I found it or clean up any space if requested.

About: I am local foster through a local rescue. My husband and I both have a passion for dogs and will treat your fur babies like they are our own! We have experience caring for puppies as young as 8 week and seniors. We are comfortable administering medications if needed and are familiar with pups who may have seizures. We don’t have any stairs so there is no need to worry about a senior pup who might have hip issues needing to climb stairs. I work full time and my husband works full time as well. Our schedules are staggered so your pup would be let out first thing in the morning by myself and then my husband will resume until he leaves for work. Midday we have a family member come over and let the dogs go outside and allow them to eat and drink as well as have some time to play. They are never left alone for more than 4-6 hours at a time. The days I’m off I’m home and my husband works from home 2 days a week as well. We have had this routine for over 4 years now with our own personal dogs and there has never been any issues. We had a brand new privacy fence installed on July 12th! We have a half acre back yard so dogs will have plenty of room to run! We will do our best to accommodate any special requests you may have. Please note our home was recently built so our grass is still in the process of growing. There may be days your pet becomes muddy if conditions are rainy. I am happy to provide a bath for your pet for a small additional fee upon request. I also highly recommend doing a meet and greet prior to your stay to ensure your dog will be comfortable with my pets and around the house.

About: Hi!! My name is Chloe. Let me tell you a bit about myself:) I have absolutely adored animals since I can remember! All of my friends and family know me as the animal girl! If there is even a bug in the house, better know I am gonna release it outside🤣 I grew up with lots of pets! Dogs, cows, a bunny, and horses! Since I was about 9 years old I was the one who took care of all of them with my dad. I wouldn’t trade those memories for anything. My parents still have our family dog from when I was younger. She turns 14 this January! I used to work at an animal shelter, so I have lots of experience with puppies, kittens, older dogs who need medication, nervous dogs, etc. My husband and I currently have 2 dogs. A mini poodle named Costa. She is my little sweetheart! And a Rottweiler named Rajah. She is our beautiful protector! We have 4 mini pet goats. Princess, Ruth, Tiny and Scruff. They have have such unique personalities! We love them. And last but not least, we have a jumping spider named speedy. I saved him, so now he’s got a little terrarium and he’s apart of our family! I am currently a nanny 3 days out of the week, so I’d love to take care of your fur babies on my days off! Let me know if I sound like a good fit for your family❤️ I currently work Sunday-Wednesday. So I’m available Thursday-Saturday! Please let me know if you’re needing someone to love on, walk, or stop by to potty and feed your babies! When I look after your pets, they will be in the very safest hands. They will get the best care, lots of love, and I will follow any special instructions you might have!

About: I started working with dogs with the washington county search and rescue team when i was 14. There I developed a passion to enrich the lives of our 4legged partners. I take every care with my dogs that i do with my children and know how difficult it can be to leave them. I enjoy helping others to provide exercise, stimulation, attention and shelter. I train walking and sit dogs as well as lawn care and maintenance. I have found these do well together and many times can provide both services together. Let the dogs in and/or out, take them for a walk or training, and can care for the lawn while there or go on to my next job. I have lots of experience with both young and older dogs. I can give oral medications and have experience caring for disabled dogs. I can bathe the dog

About: Hi, I'm Olivia! I grew up here in Northwest Arkansas and moved to Brooklyn after attending a performance arts school in Los Angeles. I'm a huge animal lover and would love to take care of your pets, whatever they may be! Big or small, young or old, I’m your gal :) I've been petsitting for about 10-15 years now, and I still petsit for friends and family regularly! I’m great for drop-ins, walks, scheduled or if it’s last minute just reach out and I’ll get back to you as soon as I can! Able to pet sit or house sit in Brooklyn or Manhattan. I'd love to connect and love on your pets!! I’m a musician and concert coordinator working from home, working extra hours in these crazy times! I have a car for transportation, we can discuss your neighborhood’s parking sitch :-) so if possible I can try my best to fulfill last minute requests. But I do love a scheduled request or recurring :) I keep a clean and tidy home, relaxed and lived in, meaning, your pup can sit or cuddle on the furniture haha! I can make sure they get play time and love.

Whether you want a solo or group walk depends on your dog's personality. Solo walks can be beneficial for dog parents with reactive dogs, puppies, or dogs who are anxious around unfamiliar animals. Many dog walkers on Rover offer private, one-on-one walking services.

Group walks are a good fit for social dogs who enjoy structured walks. If your dog prefers the energy of a group stroll, ask your dog walker about group walks in your Washburn. Since all dog walkers are local, they may have a neighborhood dog who is a good walking companion to yours.

For dog walking services, you can request a report card update with specifics about your dog’s walk. Report cards require photos and can include a map of the walking route , total walk time, poop and pee breaks, and distance traveled, so you know exactly where your dog has been walking in Washburn.

Got specific details you'd like the dog walker to include? Message them in the app before your dog’s walk begins.

The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.

All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.

Every walker on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.

Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to $25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .

Yes, you can find walkers who have experience with handling special pet needs in Washburn. On Rover:

  • 97% of walkers can help with special care needs
  • 100% can help with giving oral medications or injections
  • 100% can help with daily exercise

You can also find pet sitters on Rover who accept only one pet at a time, which is ideal for anxious puppies, kittens, or senior pets who move at a gentler pace. Some sitters will also list availability for 24/7 care, also known as constant care, in their profiles.

Use the search filters to narrow down sitters whose specific experience or environment meets your pet's needs. When reaching out to your sitter, outline your pet's care routine and use the Meet & Greet to walk your sitter through your expectations.

A Meet & Greet is a short introductory meeting between you, your dog, and a walker. It can take place in person or virtually, although we recommend in-person so that your pet can get to know your walker or the new environment. During the Meet & Greet, you will have a chance to walk through your pet's routine, medical needs, and unique quirks. Take the time to ask your walker questions about their skills and expertise, and make sure the fit feels right for everyone. Most pet parents and walkers on Rover welcome Meet & Greets because the process can give confidence and peace of mind for service experiences, especially for longer stays or first-time bookings.

Sitters on Rover set their own cancellation policy, which you can find on their profile under their calendar availability.

Cancelling before a booking begins and before the sitter's cutoff time qualifies you for a full refund. Same-day cancellations for walks, day care, and drop-ins follow the full refund policy. Otherwise, for dog boarding and house sitting, you will receive a 50% refund for the first seven days of the booking and a 100% refund for the remaining days when you cancel the same day a booking should begin.

If your sitter needs to cancel within seven days of the booking's start date, then our reservation protection will kick in. This means our support team works with you to find a replacement walker.
