“This was my first time using Rover and actually my first time leaving my dog with anyone for more than an hour (besides the vet). We were traveling and staying at an Airbnb so we could do a day at Legoland. I was nervous, but everything went great! Bailey immediately took to Amy's assistant who came out to greet us and happily went with her, which is not something he would do with most people. She sent a video and some photos while we were at the park, which was a huge relief to know he was doing okay. I would definitely recommend Amy and am much more at ease using Rover again.”

About: I have grown up with pets in my family my whole life. I started out with cats and eventually got my own dogs and I’ve been caring for both for 30+ years. I love animals and it shows in everything I do. I have four dogs of my own and I volunteer with a local rescue where I try to foster dogs and cats and do as much as I can to help out. I have administered vaccinations to pets when needed. I have all the necessary tools to care for animals in my home. I have a fenced in yard and which I take the dogs out to play. It’s like camp for doggies! Ask any of my friends, relatives and previous dog sitting customers… I will treat your pets like my own. I typically dog walk mid-day any day of the week. When boarding, I am home most of the day and all night with your pets to take them out and feed them and give them whatever they need. I have a fully fenced in yard in which dogs love to play. The fence is 4 feet high and I can be out in the yard with them at all times to watch them play and interact with each other or I can just have your dog out in my yard by his or herself if that’s what your dog prefers. If you prefer crate training for your dog, I have crates and I have separate rooms that I can keep your loved one(s) in if he/she prefers some alone time.

About: I am an experienced dog handler and temperament tester. I have worked in shelters for the past 8 years, and help run a dog rescue. I believe in, and practice a positive reinforcement training and reward system. I will provide a safe and fun and social experience for your dog. I love dogs of all sizes, breeds, and temperaments. I am also well versed in the “crate and rotate” situation in the event there are animals in my home that don’t like each other. My schedule does vary and I do work weekends but animals are never left alone for more than 4 to 6 hours. Crate trained animals are required to stay in my home. I am happy to help with that sort of training.

“Heather and her family are wonderful! He loves the time he has with Heather and her family. We are so thankful to have found her! Teddy always looks so happy and well taken care of. I really appreciate the updates and pics!”

“Carla was very professional. My Loki seemed to really like her just after the first meet. I would definitely be keeping her around for future dog sitting.”

About: Hello! My name is Jo and I have over 25 years in animal advocacy, particularly with dogs and cats. I founded my own non profit saving pets from being euthanized at shelters, have built fences for chained dogs, and led multiple monthly dog walks as a way to give back to my community, to socialize pets, and to showcase our dogs. The last of my own dogs just died from old age. It's just me and my cat Betty living on the farm so I would love to open up my home to your dogs if they are cat friendly. If they aren't, I can still manage them and keep everyone happy. I love people and pets and will care for your pet as if they are my own. I have fostered, transported, rescued and trained 100's of dogs and would love to serve you and your family pet! I work part time from home and am always home. I spend a lot of time alone at home with my cat and have the flexibility to leave my laptop at any point for doggy potty breaks or to show them love. I do not have a fenced yard, but I am very accustomed to leash walks and taking care of multiple dogs at once on leashes.
