“Kiersten did such a wonderful job of caring for our four cats while we were away! She arrived on time, well prepared for her stay at our home. I was immediately at ease with her, and could see that our cats were too. She sent photo updates each day, which was a comfort to us as we traveled, and the cats looked great and very relaxed with her. Most surprising for us was that our very energetic and sometimes anxious newest cat, who arrived just a few months ago, really loved being with Kiersten, and he very soon got cozy with her! He was just beginning to relax with us but hadn't yet even begun to sit on my lap when I left. Our eldest cat also clearly loved being with her! He's very unique and emotionally complex, and doesn't always relate so easily with people. We are very grateful for her attentive care to our precious cats, and highly recommend her services. We would be happy to work with her again!”

“I am so grateful that Aurore checked in on my two cats while I was away! The photos and knowing they were safe and cared for were such a relief and I will absolutely reach out to Aurore again!”

“Haley was excellent! Very responsive and took great care of our two kitties. She is a genuine animal person and provided really thoughtful updates (which eases anxiety while away from the fur babies). Will absolutely use her again in the future!”

About: I have taken care of cats, dogs, Small animals like mice, guinea pigs, fish, turtles. All way to farm animals like sheep, goats and even horses. Due to growing up in small town farming community. Currently I am supervising and helping my teenage daughter care for multiple miniature and full size horses in Leverett MA. I also have two wonderfully spoiled cats and a dog at home. Have some openings in evening and most weekends as at this time I do have a full time 9-5 job. Looking to see where this goes. I do not have fenced in yard but I keep my current dog on tie out or 50ft lead. Very quiet not normally traveled area around house with big yard to play. At clients home depends on environment there. Would prefer no off leash unless securely fenced area.
About: I've grown up with animals my entire life and am very comfortable around them. I enjoy spending time with pets and making sure they get the attention they need! As my mom and sister own their own horses, I have been taking care of my family's dog and two cats while they are away and at shows. I am very careful about the safety of my family's pets, we have a fenced in yard for our dog, and I am very thorough when taking care of our chickens when closing them up for the night to protect them from predators.

About: I am currently taking a break from providing any house sitting or boarding, but am available most Mondays for drop ins and walks. I have all morning and afternoon available :) Currently I have Mondays off during the week, and can do morning, afternoon and evening drop ins or walks. I do occasionally have Saturday and Sunday mornings available as well. I am comfortable with any routine you have for your fur baby and need help with, I don’t mind walking neighborhoods or going for hikes or just simply coming over to let them outside and play fetch!
“Susan did a great job taking care of our 100 lb Maremma. She was on time for all the sessions, and spent plenty of time with our dog. Our dog really liked seeing her. We will definitely be using her again.”

“Vikki immediately bonded with my older cat. I could see my cat rubbing up against her and enjoying her treats. She provided loving companionship for a week while I was on vacation. I am truly thankful for the care she provided my cat. 5 stars out of 5!!”

About: I have walked dogs of all different sizes, ages & breeds. I have also administered medications ( oral & topical ), changed bandages. I've loved animals my entire life & my client's pups/pets become "my" pets..in other words, I love them like they were my own. * I prefer to do "Meet & Greets" with potential clients and their pets prior to taking the "job", so not only do I and the pets get to meet, but the pet parent(s) & I can also meet & discuss any schedules, routines, etc. as well as go over any questions. I want to not only be comfortable with them, but I want the pet parent(s) & of course, the pets, to be comfortable with me as well. P.S. I’ve worked in many horse barns in my 20’s, so don’t hesitate to reach out for help ( even if it’s a one time thing :) I’m pretty available due to being on Social Security ( due to a major car accident in 2009), so I do this to not only supplement my income but because I love animals & it also helps me in multiple ways ( mentally, physically, etc.) I treat your home like my home in the sense that I become protective of the space ( & pets of course), I don’t like random people showing up/trying to enter the home without my hearing Directly from the homeowner. After I’m familiar w/ the way things typically are ( ex. what vehicle(s) are routinely there/not there then a “random” vehicle is suddenly there, I will be suspicious & notify the pet parent/home owner right away to make sure it’s ok to be there).
“This is my fourth or fifth time having Lori look after my cat Finn, and I can never trust any other sitter but her. I always come home to a happy, healthy cat. Lori is always extremely communicative and sends the cutest pictures!”

About: Ive been caring for pets for many years. I had a dog walking business over a decade ago. We taken care of our own and others elderly dogs. We like taking dogs on long off leash walks in groups if possible. Dogs are always welcome to cuddle up on the furniture. Im a stay at home-mom, homeschooling. We go to play groups and trips but we can plan our day around dog walks. We take the dogs out first thing in the morning on leash as our yard isnt fenced. We are happy to come feed kitties and water plants. We love taking dogs out on walks and caring for them in our home. We love going on long walks mid day out in nature
About: I started taking care of neighborhood animals when I was 12 years old and continued down this path of animal care and rescue into my adulthood. I took care of a childhood dog for 16 years of my life before rescuing three of my own as an adult. All three of my rescues have their own unique behavioral issues. One I cannot have around small children from trauma inflicted on her by them. My other cannot regulate her emotions when she gets overstimulated, and my youngest is a deaf and mostly blind double merle! I have taken care of my own pets, taken care of countless neighborhood pets, and I have also worked on a horse farm where I was trusted to take care of the horses, donkeys, and pigs. My passion is taking care of animals. My empathy for them is great and its my goal to make sure that even the saddest animals have a full life and find happiness. I also like to make sure that when they are missing their families I can make them as happy, loved and cared for as possible until their families return. I currently work full time and have Mornings, Evenings and Weekends free with flexibility to take time off throughout the day to care for animals who need more frequent attention. Unfortunately, due to my own three rescue dogs at home I will not be able to take pets back to my house for care at this time.
“Yes, yes, Karen took great care of our pet, Cinder, and our home while she was here. Easy communicator, responsible, and kind. I am so glad to have found Karen and look forward to calling on her again!”

About: I've been providing pet care services for 9 years both inside and outside the veterinary clinic! In the past, I have provided walking, drop-in visits, and overnight snuggles to dogs and cats. As someone in the veterinary field, I am been able to provide the extra special care some pets need, like medications and special feedings. I have experience with caring for small exotic mammals and fish as well! I am currently a veterinary student who has a few months off during the summer and a few weeks off during December. During these times of the year, I am able to help you take care of your loved one! My daily routine is flexible to accommodate your pet's particular needs and I spend as much of my free time as I can with them during house sitting. My goal while caring for your pet is to maintain their regular routine as much as I can to decrease their stress and anxiety without you at home. I will try my best to adapt to the schedule and needs you provide me with to give them the best experience!
