“My pup loves Cynthia and her place! Lots of dogs to socialize with, tons of exercise in the big and fenced backyard, plus abundant love and care is given to all the 4-legged friends. Just between you and me, I think my pup would rather live there than go home with me! A good problem to have 😁 Can’t recommend enough!”

“Absolutely could not be happier or more grateful for Margarita and her family. The whole process was super easy and after the meet and greet I left feeling 100% confident that bubba would be in great hands. Then traveling back home from Sioux Falls, we get hammered by blizzard conditions. The last 20 miles before finally giving up, I could barely see the lines on the road, let alone any cars in front of me. So we pulled off and checked in to a hotel. Thankfully Margarita was SUPER understanding and reassuring. I was in a bit of a panic worrying about this and that, and the fact that Loki didn't have to be one of those worries was a huge relief. When we finally made it back the next day I could tell he wasn't super thrilled about leaving, which is always what you want to see. (And with that massive yard, I can't blame him!) Will definitely be "boarding" with her and her family again in the future! Super communicative with updates and photos to put our minds at ease.”

About: I’ve always loved being around animals and have experience caring for dogs of different personalities and needs. Over the years, I’ve been trusted to care for pets while their owners are away, making sure they’re fed, walked, played with, and given plenty of love and attention. I know how important it is to leave your pet with someone you can truly trust. I pay close attention to each dog’s normal routine and personality so they can feel as comfortable and happy as possible while you’re away. Whether your pup loves long walks, playing outside, cuddling on the couch, or just having someone nearby, I’m happy to give them the kind of care they’re used to. I’ll treat your dog like they’re my own and make sure you feel comfortable too. I’m also happy to send plenty of pictures and updates so you can see how your pup is doing while they’re with me! 🐾 I work from home, which gives me a very flexible schedule and allows me to be available throughout the day for your pup! I also have a Golden Retriever of my own, so walks, potty breaks, playtime, and lots of attention are already a natural part of my daily routine. Since I’m home most of the day, I’m able to give your dog plenty of attention and companionship without them being left alone for long periods of time. I’m happy to adjust to their normal feeding, walking, and potty schedule so they can feel as comfortable as possible. Having another furry friend around would be a welcome addition to our day! 🐾 Your pet’s safety and comfort are extremely important to me. We live on just over 5 acres with plenty of space to explore and our own walking trails throughout the property, which are perfect for getting outside, going on walks, and getting some energy out! Since I already have a Golden Retriever of my own, our home is very dog-friendly and we naturally have plenty of dog toys, supplies, and space for pups to feel comfortable. Our property is not fenced, so dogs will never be allowed to roam outside unsupervised. I’m more than happy to use a secure in-ground tie-out for dogs who are comfortable with one, or keep them leashed whenever we’re outside. I understand that every dog has their own routine, personality, and comfort level, so I’ll always follow your instructions and do my best to make your pup feel safe, loved, and at home while they’re in my care. Before their stay, I’d love for you to tell me a little about your pup—their personality, daily routine, favorite things, any quirks or tendencies they may have, and anything else you think I should know. The more I know about them, the better I can make their time with me feel comfortable and familiar! 🐾
“Allison and her family were amazing!!! Updates and pics were sent daily during the stay. When I picked my dog up she had the biggest smile on her face. Will definitely be rebooking!”

“Very responsive, and very flexible. Communication was great, and the dogs seemed to have a great time, they were wiped out from all the playing for like 2 days when we got back home!”

About: Hi, I am Joie, an experienced and caring pet sitter, dog foster, and owner of Dogwood Bed & Biscuit. I have had furry family members my whole life and have also been a dog foster for over 15 years. I just absolutely love all animals. I strive to provide a safe, fun home for the little dogs under 40 lbs. Ages 12 weeks to senior. I am experienced administering meds. Dogs are welcome to sleep wherever they are most comfortable, and I have more toys than most pet stores, as well as dog beds scattered throughout the house. I also have a dog door to the backyard; dogs are welcome to come and go to enjoy the sun in a safe, fenced-in yard or stay inside snuggled in a cozy bed. I can provide a kennel if the owner prefers. I will accept unneautered/unspayed pups but will not sit more than one at a time. I host meet-and-greets with all new families to ensure I am a good fit for your pup. I do work downtown in the afternoons on Mondays, Wednesdays, and Fridays, but am home all day on Tuesdays, Thursdays, and weekends. I do not offer house-sitting or drop-ins, but I am available for dog daycare and boarding. I can also possibly provide pickups and drop-offs within a certain radius for an additional fee. Feel free to reach out anytime with questions or concerns... I look forward to meeting you! I currently work from home on Tuesdays and Thursdays and can be home all day on weekends. My fiancé, Andrew, is home all day Nov - April, so someone would be available each day to provide care as well.. I have a fenced-in yard and 2 fun, sweet pups that love new company. They can either be chill or playful depending on the circumstances. We also have a dog door for small dogs that want to use the backyard.

“Lisa and Drew watched my two dogs for 5 days. They took very good care of them - they are both on medications and needed a little extra attention. The little boys also enjoyed them as well. They were easy to contact and quickly responded to me. I would recommend them to watch your pets! Definitely a five star review!!”

“Marill was wonderful to work with on a short notice need. She was patient and caring to our two dogs right from the get go and gave them the time they needed to feel comfortable in new surroundings. 100% will be using this service again and I can't thank her enough!”

“Robin was amazing!!! If I could give her more than 5 stars I would. She is very accommodating, she was constantly sharing with me how Blue was doing and included pictures. Her and her whole family made Blue feel like a part of their family. Thank you so much Robin!🤍”

“Palmer was well loved by Nessa & Jose and really enjoyed all the walks, playmates, and attention. He came home exhausted and sad to leave. They sent a ton of pictures and even video each day of his stay. Thanks so much for taking great care of Palmer.”

“Cheyenne is AMAZING! We have used her twice, once for a extended trip and one for a shorter one. Our sweet girl is so loved and taken excellent care of! Lille seems sad her first day home after being at Cheyenne’s, she surely misses her! Communication is amazing and she sends us multiple updates and pics through her stay and it helps us a ton even though we know she’s in amazing care. She loves Cheyenne and all the friends she makes while she is there! Can’t say enough good things!! We will not bring her anywhere else when we travel.”
“Baylyn took great care of my large 11 year old dog. He settled into her space nicely and she took great care of him. Good communication throughout the stay and very accommodating of needs and concerns. Will use again!”

Frequently asked questions about Rover
Rover is the largest marketplace for local pet care. Whether you're looking for pet sitters, dog walkers, or house sitters who specialize in pet sitting, you can narrow your search by entering your ZIP code to find sitters within walking distance in your neighborhood.
Every sitter on Rover has their own routine. Depending on the arrangements you agree on before the stay, a sitter can follow your dog’s regular feeding schedule, provide a comfortable place to sleep, offer companionship, and support their usual exercise and play needs.
Depending on the sitter, their home environment, and your dog’s needs, daily exercise may include walks, outdoor play, indoor enrichment activities, or supervised play with compatible dogs. These activities are not automatically included with every booking, so ask the sitter what a typical day looks like.
During the Meet & Greet, discuss your dog’s usual exercise and play routine, whether they can safely interact with other dogs, and any activities or restrictions the sitter should follow. You can also ask the sitter to send photo and message updates during the stay so you can see how your dog is spending their time.
Preparing for drop-off is easy when you have a checklist! To help your dog settle into their Warsaw home-away-from-home, we recommend packing:
- Health and safety essentials such as their ID tags, vaccination records, medication, and emergency vet or secondary caregiver contacts.
- Food and gear such as harnesses, collars, food (portioned by day), and an item that smells like you.
- Special instructions such as a list of training cues, medical administration needs, or favorite hang-out spots in your Warsaw.
<b>Tip:</b> You can upload your dog’s routine and medical info directly onto their profile so your sitter always has the details at their fingertips.
You and your Warsaw sitter can schedule drop-off and pick-up in a way that works best for the both of you—and your dog. Most sitters offer flexible times for drop-off and pick-up but the easiest way to confirm those times will be through in-app messaging. Confirm your arrival time the day of pick-up and drop-off can also help keep the process smooth and organized.
The Rover Guarantee is Rover’s commitment to your peace of mind every time you book. It includes 24/7 customer support, sitter access to advice from qualified veterinary professionals for diagnostic issues, and a reimbursement program for eligible veterinary care in the rare event something goes wrong.
All bookings are backed by the Rover Guarantee , which provides up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care reimbursement.
Every sitter on Rover is required to pass a background check before listing their services. This process confirms their identity and indicates they are not on the Department of Justice’s National Sex Offender Public Website or have any disqualifying offenses.
Beyond ID checks, you can review each sitter's star rating, read verified reviews from other pet parents, and see how many repeat clients they have. Every booking is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes up to 25,000 in eligible veterinary care. For more details, visit Rover's Trust & Safety page .
While each sitter sets their own vaccine requirements, staying up-to-date on your dog’s vaccines is the best way to be "boarding ready". Vaccinations help create a safe environment for all pets under a sitter’s care.
Many sitters in MN ask that dogs be up to date on core vaccines like the Canine Parvovirus, Canine Distemper, Canine Adenovirus, Bordetella, and Rabies.
By discussing your pet's health history early, you’re adding a layer of confidence for you and your sitter before the booking begins.
If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
