“Cynthia was great, her fenced-in yard was beautiful and spacious. Her dogs are sweet and got along with mine just fine. They got to spend a lot of time outside too, which made me happy. Would definitely book her again”

“Can you give double 5 star ratings?? Margarita was so wonderful for us and our fur baby! She treated Pip like part of the family, sent us pictures, created fun videos, dealt with the spring shedding season, and even gave him a bath so he would be clean for the trip we were taking after picking him up. She is amazing!”

“Katrina and Drew were great! They were quick to communicate and were very accommodating to minor schedule changes. Our pup did so well she ran out of food! She usually skips meals when away from home and I pack accordingly. Katrina quickly replaced the food to keep Schatzi on schedule!”

“Chelsie was an awesome dog sitter. She watched our two dogs and sent many updates throughout their stay. She was also very accommodating to our schedule. We would definitely have her watch our dogs again!”

“Leanna exceeded my expectations! She was so great with my dog, Josie. She sent pictures and gave me updates about Josie's stay. I had never used a dog sitter before and I'm so happy I found Leanna. I will absolutely be bringing Josie back!”

“Carrie was absolutely amazing with Chase. They sent daily updates with photos, followed all care instructions perfectly, and my pup came home happy. I’ll definitely rebook—thank you for the peace of mind! Mike & Family”

“Kona had a great first stay with Shelby and family! I really appreciated that she received her medicine on schedule and got lots of exercise playing fetch and on walks. The photos and videos were great!”

“I have 3 yorkie rescues who can be nervous and reactive in new situations with new people. Becky instantly made me (and them) feel comfortable. Her boarding set up assures your pups safety with a fenced yard and indoor split level with puppy gates blocking the stairs so there’s never a worry your pup could sneak out. She sends pictures and updates and easily accommodates any special requests you may have. I will definitely be using Becky again!”

About: I’ve owned dogs my whole life. I currently have 3 and live on a 6 acre farm where the dogs can run and play all day. I’m currently between jobs but anticipate that my next work will be WFH so I can care for the dogs and other farm animals day in and day out. While the yard is not fenced per se, I do have invisible fencing if your dog is used to that system. I have 3 of my own dogs that know the boundaries and stay within them. I have a 3 bedroom house with 2 of the bedrooms unoccupied so there is plenty of space. I have crates of different sizes of your dog prefers to be crated for any length of time. One of my dogs is crated when not home the other 2 are free to roam the house and very well behaved.
“Lisa & Drew and their young boys took excellent care of Buck. Lisa communicated above and beyond with updates on how Buck was acclimating to a new environment as well as cute pics of Buck playing with the boys. I highly recommend Lisa & Drew if you are looking for a trust worthy and responsible pet sitter for your pet.”

“Allison and Michael were great watching my anxious dog. They took him for walks, played with him, gave him his medicine and provided updates with photos. It usually takes him time to warm up to new people but he seemed comfortable there and looked like he had a good time at his stay!”
“Marill was wonderful! She took our Draco at the last minute. He felt so at home with her and in her care. We were abled to go on vacation with no worries. She sent pictures/videos and was very open about what was happening at all times. She really took an interest in what was comfortable for Draco and how she could make his stay as pleasant as possible! We even ended up extended our stay a few hours and she was very flexible. This was our first time using Rover and it was a wonderful experience! We will absolutely use Marill again in the future!!”

“Sean was great! Sent us a couple of videos of our dog playing and running around in his big fenced in yard! We could tell he genuinely cares for our pet as if it were his own. Will definitely book with Sean again!”

“Hank loved his time here. I didn’t have a worry about him because I knew when I pulled up to drop him off that Shelley’s home was going to be a great fit. 10/10 recommend to anyone!”

“Took great care of my dog, Scout!! Took the time to find out about her needs, routines and behavior. I knew right away she would be in wonderful hands. Definitely would recommend!!”

“I typically book with a daycare center but due to the amount of time we would be gone, we feared he would suffer from anxiety and loneliness. So we decided to book with a home daycare to ensure he received more personal care. They did an awesome job with Jake. Seemingly, he was treated like their own with lots of cuddle time. They provided daily updates and included cute photos. They were flexible with drop off and pick up times. I would definitely use them again.”

“Mary and Bob and Izzy are wonderful. I couldn’t ask for a better place that my,Chloe, could acclimate and feel safe and cozy. Mary and Bob are wonderful and Izzy is a sweet puppy that accepts Chloe! I couldn’t ask for better!”

If a health concern arises during a stay, your sitter is instructed to contact you and our Trust & Safety team immediately and, if needed, take your dog to the closest veterinarian. Through our Trust & Safety support team, sitters can ask for diagnostic advice from a qualified veterinary professional if your dog is showing signs of possible illness.
For extra peace of mind, you can also prepare an authorization form for your regular vet. An authorization form outlines your preferred method of care and allows your sitter to bring your pet into their regular clinic.
Every qualified booking made on Rover is backed by the Rover Guarantee, which includes reimbursement for eligible emergency vet care.
